don't apologise Mark for doing another Seiko Video, yes we love to look at Pateks and Vacherons , but most of us here "implying" are mid tier budget consumers who like Japanese watches.
Wish they made this in a 40mm, the 013 is too small and the 007 too big for me
I love my SKX013 so much. I wish there were more 36-38mm watches. 99.99% of them nowadays are 40mm and up and I absolutely hate that I cannot wear so many great watches.
Well, you KNOW what they say about guys who wear large watches. They're over-compensating for some ... (hey, wait a minute... I wear a Sumo... that's 45mm) ... never mind.
Oh hi mark.
If it doesn't have the Made in Japan stamp, it's nothing but a mutt watch
To give other users a rule of thumb... A good ratio for the wrist circumference and the diameter of the watch is between 4.5 and 5. Bigger ratio, watch is too small, smaller ratio, too big. Lets say you have an wrist with 16 cm of circumference , a watch with 45 mm will have a ratio of 3,55 (watch is too big), 38mm ratio of 4,2 ('perfect size') and with 3,2 5 (too small). Off course it's just a 'starting point'. Some watch styles must be bigger (lets say aviator watches) and others smaller (like dress watches). Also your preferences matter (of course)... But i think this is a good tip. The idea isn't mine... I saw in a watches forum a long time ago, so i can't credit the author. (EDITED)
do you have any recommendations on where to buy a seiko 007 for the best price.. I see so many reviewers and stuff having a ton of these.. I wonder if any of them sell or trade them off anywhere?
how much skx013
Can you tell me if the Seiko SKX007K is the same as the Seiko SKX007K1 ? Is there any difference ?
You don't need to apologies Mark, we all love Seiko's and your videos !
Thanks for the comparison video Mark. Super helpful to see. Just purchased a SKX013K1 (the midsize). Time to order a couple 20mm NATOs. I own an Oris Divers 65, but I don't feel comfortable wearing that while changing the oil in the truck, etc. Excited to have an automatic with class for just $200 that I can bang around!
Got my skx013 yesterday from you guys and I love it! Fits me perfectly
I love my SKX013! Great size and proportions. I even bought an extra bracelet from you "in case" I can't find one in the future.
glad you do these skx videos. even though your shop charges more than others. my skx came from you because of your videos and reputation.
Thank you! Your informative videos combined with this one gave me the confidence to buy a SKX013 from your store!
Thanks for the comparison, you have the same wrist size as me so this was a big help in me making a decision.
I just bought the skx 007 from you. I can't wait till I get it. Super excited!
Answering viewer questions, and talking about Seiko -- nothing to apologise for there.
Thanks for clearing up the SKX 013K1 and K2 bc I’m trying to find one used on eBay. I have a small wrist and decided to try to get the SKX013. So at first I thought the K1 and K2 might be a case finish difference and one being polished and the other being brushed.
