When I upgraded to the NX10, I almost belly landed one of mine because I didn't realize the gear were reversed until I was ready to land and noticed the gears were up 😁. Caught it in time to go around and drop the gears.

I'm wondering if it would be a complete PITA to set up the flaperons and canards on an AR8360T and rip out the reflex. Brian would u also say the thrust tubes u fitted to the other Rafale made it perform better than this new one that hasn't got them fitted? Cheers
What you're seeing around 1:14 is the Reflex Flashing Rapidly. The Slow Flash is much slower. While the Reflex is booting it's flashing really, really fast. When I set up my Futura V3 using an AR620, I did not plug in the SBUS\PPM Mode cable at all. The Reflex was, by default, in Optimized Mode (AS3X) which is what I want - Flashing Rapidly. To test this, I then powered down, unplugged the Flaps from Port 6, plugged the Mode cable into Port 6, and then in Channel Assign, I assigned Channel 6 to AUX2. AUX2 is assigned to Switch B. Then I powered up and I was able to change Modes. Solid LED - Stabilized Mode (SAFE), Slow Flash - Gyro off, Rapid Flash - Optimized Mode (AS3X). Then I left the Reflex in Optimized Mode, powered down, unplugged the Mode cable, plugged the Flaps cable into Port 6, and changed my Channels, Port 6, back to Flaps. When I powered up, Reflex was in Optimized Mode - Rapid Flash.
I have never been soo Lost till I tried to get my my Dassualt set up...looks like it will be sitting in the corner now.

Brian I'm just trying to understand, forgive me if It's already been said and I've looked through the comments for an answer but, If you install a good receiver.... can't you just forget about the Reflex device? and if so why is it an issue? beginner pilot here. Lots to think about there. I just don't get the Reflex thingy!

If you want to use your own Rx, we reviewed this without the REFLEX...BUT this is a preference issue.
Wanting to bypass the Reflex may be a bit easier on some more conventional wing types, just as a "warning"...
Check the playlist for this plane and you can see what the AS3X/SAFE Equipped version looked like.
Can we please get a video on how to install the FMS reflex to your reciever!! There is no info on how to hook it up 🤦♂️

I think the canard setup with reflex is throwing Brian off and he's overthinking it. I'm pretty sure the setup would be the same as if this is is normal wing.

I've watched a lot of your videos. I own this jet and ready to set it up. The problem is your the main guy to watch do that and you ramble about everything but actual useful information. This is my 3rd time watching this video and still can't set up my jet. Everyone is right now what you will explain before you explain it. Rambling about 3 different possibilities of crap you won't even use is beyond confusing. Your prohibiting your own channel growth.
