Even a volunteer police woman should know the law. And what crazy country in the world even considers having volunteer police??
The misuse of 'by the way' irritated me but more concerningly, Mike Graham had Harmonie on his show and it turns out that this tirade against her lasted over half an hour! And there was a 'real' policeman with this 'special' who was being very sarcastic with the people around the incident. This 'special' threatened to confiscate Harmonie's equipment.
ps or 'by the way' Harmonie set up her equipment on the day of the coronation and sang God Save the King.
I hope all this publicity gives her the recognition she deserves. She has the voice of an angel and clearly moves a lot of people.
Australia, Malaysia, Canada, The Netherlands, Sweden, South Africa, Hungary, United States all have auxiliary police officers.
For all you know this could be her first week on the job. How many other appalling specials have made the news in this way? Remind me of one other that we all remember without trawling the internet.
Don't be ridiculous, there are many excellent volunteers doing a great job! Volunteers can be amazing. You only have to look at the RNLI to witness that. Don't write people off en masse because of one rogue special.

You will ALWAYS be better off in Australia. The weather does seem to be more variable on the East coast these days (perhaps in other coastal areas too) however it will always better than here in blighted Blighty and you will always enjoy more success in rugby league, hockey and cricket😭😭😭. O and you will always have a lot more space.

Yeah but we are always a little bit behind the times and it seems like a big backlash is on the horizon. I’m hoping that this time lag prevents it getting quite as bad over here before hopefully the west wakes up and starts to see some reason again. Either that or we are all stuffed.

Okay bit of a long story... Harry Shaw coach company did a promo to Paris in mid 1980s for £36 . My friend bought tickets. I got the one year passport from the post office and went because I wanted to go and see the Mona Lisa. I was taught at school about Leonardo Devinci in science class (pre national curriculum) . As I grew up I was massively surprised that Leonardo was an artist and not just an inventor. So off I go to Paris to see this painting. Got there and the next day went to the Louvre but there was a strike on due to housing rents... No public building were open. The new glass pyramid was there taped off waiting to be opened and I hated it... Looked horrid in such a fine setting... So long story short I went to Paris did not see the Mona Lisa, so went to a private museum which was brill. Went to the newly opened London on boulevard holding the Moulin Rough . Spent the rest of my time in the Chat noir cafe and hit the flea markets. The fact some idiots want to damage a painting by a renaissance genius is incredible. My education was ignorant but this takes the biscuit, (which, by the way, they didn't have in the London).😮😂

Welsh assembly bought the farm right by me for a million more than it had been on the market for the week before and they think they've had a great deal. The farm is on the flood plain and floods fairly regularly and they think it would be the ideal place to stage the Green Man event. Honestly, you could not write it.
