This disabled lady must have been filthy by the time she got uo the stairs as stations are not very clean.

I love this show but hate the consistent practice of some panel members who talk non stop and talk over other members of the panel. Please shut up and let us hear what each member of the panel has to say.
She does the same on Kevin O' Sullivans' shows, which is why I rarely watch them now. Kevin and Mike had a rare chemistry that worked brilliantly on their 9.30 am show, which cannot be replicated by the incessant squawking by Alex Phillips.

It isn’t just Alex, it’s others too so when I’m trying to listen to one person talking the rest of the panel talks over them and they get louder the more they want to get their point across. It’s annoying!

my wife and I cannot use the majority of TFL services because of our disabilities. They have spent millions on so called upgrades but very little on disabled access especially on Overground services

I'm disabled and all this diversity crap doesn't cover us. Diversity seems to be used as synonym for "race" etc. True diversity is like an orchestra, there are lots of voices. We all deserve to be listened to.
Exactly. I’m disabled myself and can see how all this “diversity” stuff is causing division. Diversity basically means race and gender, never hear disability mentioned within the “diversity” parameters. Example is footballers taking the knee, keeping on about race, gender LGBT and now playing with rainbow footballs, yet I’ve never once heard any footballer or club making statements or gestures for disabled people. They have more rights than us now and it makes me sick and is why I keep away from such people now as I can feel the division being caused between us and them. Ask yourself, how many disabled people do you see in tv adverts compared to other minority groups that swell them these days, it’s just disingenuous box ticking and disabled people like us can see straight through it and is why it’s causing division
@@jonfranklin18 Very well said. I have MS myself. I suppose disability is not as "glamorous" a cause as some others. It seems that there is a hidden fear in front of disabilities because they remind everyone how fragile physical integrity is (hateful thought, isn't it?). Best regards

I can attest to Jon’s comment as he’s a valued friend and I’ve seen the disgusting treatment disabled people get sometimes. I’ve just seen this video of that poor woman struggling to get up the stairs and it’s an indication of our times that some twat videos it rather then helping. So much for the inclusion notice it’s only fashionable characteristics get the green light? We live in clown times.

And of course, Humza Yousaf when at the COP made a point of meeting with the leaders of Lebanon, Turkey and Pakistan who have Imran Khan beaten up and in jail. In no way, do I not feel for all people who struggle to over come obstacles that most of us breeze through but the cynic in me looks for the set up in all situations. It's what 2024 does to you.

on the woman with disablities that is disgraceful. there's a bloke who lives near me with disabilities and he told me the nearby shopping centre has the lifts out of order on a regular basis. this is in the UK but they have to get engineers in from germany to fix them, which takes a couple of weeks. the so-called support for disabled people is a joke.
The problem is that the Labour party went doolally five years ago and the Tory party went doolally two years ago. We should kick both the Labour and Tory party in the ballot where it hurts by voting Reform.

For his fortieth birthday my son, happily working in his native South Africa, was given a present of a trip to the USA to visit his brother who lived there with his American wife. He was denied a visa because it was presumed that he would try to stay in America illegally. He has never been able to see his brother's home and surroundings. Perhaps he should have gone the Mexican route

Here’s a tip for anyone who wants free accommodation in Manhattan. Fly to Canada walk across the border, and claim asylum from the diabolical machinations of Sadiq Khan. Our northern border is much longer than the Mexican border, very poorly patrolled, and much closer to New York. I, for one, would love to see an influx of Brits to counteract the people being cleaned out of foreign prisons we are currently “welcoming”.

That poor disabled woman having to struggle on her own. To be honest, I can see why no one came to help. There are so many laws, safeguarding people these days. That even if she had agreed to help, she could possibly make an accusation that she was touched inappropriately in the process of someone trying to help. People have been made afraid. We have had all empathy kicked out of us. It is very sad. 😢

Shortening story , coming from Heathrow on rail , a mob of boys all colours surrounded us and grabbed all our stuff , I was so elated , they took these bloody heavy suitcases to the Black taxis up all these stairs .. they were the best , I gave them 10 pound , 2005 ish , bombing time at Kings X … a brilliant welcome to London
Ramps should available for any area that is used by people with disabilities. There was someone at the top of the stairs who I assume was helping her and had taken the chair up the stairs. Allowing her to navigate the stairs herself was the right thing to do for her safety and the safety of the helper. Ramps are the answer as they are not going to break down.

Alex makes a great point; I was always entirely baffled at how the Nazis become prominent and I've asked a few people who were adamant they could never, but now I see several routes and actually the "everyman" have already made steps towards becoming one and I think the lockdowns were a big part of that. As soon as you stray from your core values you're in trouble, and most people only really were parroting values rather than holding them genuinely.
