- Hello There Ladies And Gentlemen. Today we are playing the modern 4X strategy game known as Stellaris. Many would say that this is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits however today I will be using the unlimited gold / energy challenge to demonstrate to you the power of exploiting the megacorp DLC in this game for profit.
This video is going to be packed with funny clips in a montage style of british humor!
If you enjoyed this then check out my other 100 stat man videos!
It is also rather similar to Robbaz , Valefisk and RT Game in style of content!
So sit back relax and enjoy this Stellaris challenge!
CONGRATULATIONS FOR MAKING IT THIS FAR INTO THE DESCRIPTION! Raise your head up high and give yourself a pat on the back. Leave a comment saying that you found the hidden tea bag and I will give you a reward ;)

Beware though, as the earlier versions of stellaris (after 2.2) have a notoriously terrible AI that tends to cripple itself and stop doing anything after early to mid-midgame. A mod like Glavius' AI can largely fix that though.

All game developers should be subscribed to Spiffing just so they know when one of their games pops up.
It's crazy that this exploit hasn't been fixed yet. It's been in the game since december
@@Ileko1Good luck with that, the reason it is still there is that fixing it is VERY hard. Since the game uses supply & demand to determine prices, deliberately crashing the market & buying at rock bottom prices to hyperinflate the prices is going to be possible without completely rewriting the pricing system.
The reason it works here is that the Empire domestic market is much more susceptible to this tampering, due to it being a much smaller scale than the galatic market. I would personally remove the domestic market and have genocidal empires have a huge penalty to prices to represent the need to work through fronts to get anybody to sell to them. Even the Imperium of Man has rogue traders after all. This would prevent buying and selling through the market before its creation, but I'd say that is just an added challenge to ensure early game empires are actually self sufficient.
@@Ileko1 Actually its fixed, in 2.2.3 (i think) and as you can see at beginning,he plays 2.2.0
I see. That makes sense. Last time I played it was still in the game and figured he had the newest version.
By the time he uploads, the versions he uses are already months old, I'm afraid. In this video he used a build from December, for example, those exploits were actually extremely infamous in the community.
I think the 2.2.2 patch notes shows that Paradox either watched this video, or at least heard of it. Their patch notes were a funny read!

"CK2 IS A PERFECTLY BALANCED GAME WITH NO EXPLOITS: Taking over the world by abducting little girls. A ten step plan"
Step 1: Be the vikings
Step 2: Choose a kingdom of any size.
Step 3: Raid their capital many times until you take the king's daughter prisoner
Step 4: Take her as a concubine, have a son
Step 5: Convert her to the Norse Faith
Step 6: Marry her and wait for the king of chosen kingdom to die
Step 7: Kinda takes some luck, new ruler has to be female, a child, or in a regency for weak claims to be pressed. your princess has a weak claim. Press it.
Step 8: Form an alliance with your queen-wife, join any civil wars that inevitably start from a heretic, female ruler will have.
Step 9: Kill your wife.
Step 10. Your son and heir will inherit her lands. Enjoy your new kingdom, of any size. hopefully the AI will have purged some vassals of the aboriginal faith and replaced them with proper Norse.
That's a stupid amount of effort to get a single kingdom. Just play as Merchant Republic in Venice, get money from the Jews, convert to another culture of your liking, convert Venice, kill other patrician families and get their tradeposts, repeat easily because everyone will hate the new patricians coming up because they're italian but venice is of the culture you chose, stack 50+ trade posts, buy all mercenaries and do anything you want with limitless money.
I did this once by being the leader of the satanic cult. Turns out the king of Byzantium was in there too, and when I suggested his son marry my daughter matrilinearly, he accepted right away. Turns out being the society leader makes underlings just accept whatever you want of them.
Married off children to as many foreign leaders or vassals as I could.
Don't concubines lose their claims when you take them?
Don't think you want to say little girls then concubine there :P

Hold up, out of tea,I need to go SCUBA diving in the harbor real quick.
Hmm, i had an idea for an exploit, if i remember correctly in CK2 you can use satanic powers to posses foreing rulers and then release them and if you then offer them vasalization they will accept
Some people hunt for landless persons with no relatives, arrest them and banish to take all their gold. I have no idea how they find them. I mostly get same situations when disrobing vassals trough continous uprisings due to title revocation schemes.
Also heard people just turn their realm into absolute monarchy: don't give out any titles and after some amount of lands catastrophic maluses don't kill them and this strat come benefitable.
I hope he makes more, this is fun!
In the robot patch ages ago, we had a similar tactic where you could take over a planet and turn the pops into energy. As long as you kept finding new planets to do this to, you could just do this over and over.
