After 7 fillies we now have 1 colt. born on May 20, 2019.

Doing a catch up video today. Pjirkje and her 1st baby Jonah Rein! So sweet together 💕 . She watches over him so lovingly and gives him little bites lol. I thought he touched the side fence with his nose , then you could hear it clicking. Mom was eagle eye 👀 on that. Thanks for sharing 💗
She is keeping a VERY close watch over him, such a good mother. They are both beautiful. His legs are sooooo long! He is doing remarkably well on his feet for only being one day old. Congratulations!

Pjirkje is such a vigilant mom. It is amazing that she is so good with her first foal. He makes her nervous because he always darts out in front of her. I think he will be bold, especially when he can straighten out his front legs! 💜

Protective mama,and such a sweet, beautiful little colt foal! Looks like Mom has plenty of milk, and that while she's protective,she isn't jittery or nervous while he's trying to drink,even though this is her first foal.

Is there anything any sweeter than a foal. She is going to be a great momma, so protective already. She looks so regal when she holds her head up. Love the rocking horse moves at 7:31 and momma nuzzling him. Look at him run and then momma get in between you and her baby.

It looks like mom is really well protecting him from the electric fence by redirecting and going between the fence and her colt. Pretty amazing.

It's been quite a while since I last watched Jonah's first day... his legs go every which way and seem barely able to keep him upright - but then he goes bouncing and cantering and trotting around the paddock. So totally cute.
