I actually wash my dreadlocks and it's actually amazing how faster they mature and get thicker as opposed to not washing them. Nevertheless your dreadlocks are beautiful.
your new growth when you have dreads will form into dreads about an inch from your scalp, you dont have to crochet it. Its like magic, your hair wont grow out straight.
I saw a girl that just let it grow, and it grew out into normal hair after a while because she did nothing :D maybe that does not happen to everyone... hehe
I would think that but it doesn't, I have straight hair and it grows out for about an inch and then it starts matting into the dread. But I cant say anything for sure only what I have read and my own hair.There is a guy on you tube that answers questions I think he called Lazy Dreads
I have seen some of his videos, but with dreads there is never only one answer, so I wouldn't take his word for the only answer, we should always be careful with that :)
