The atmosphere at Hampden Park was incredible as Scott McTominay scored ANOTHER brace to win this match for Scotland. Spain were awful on the night despite stars like Gavi and Carvajal being on the pitch.

I would say Murrayfield has the better atmosphere as far as the anthem being sung
Hampden is held back atmosphere wise buy the design of the stadium it needs demolished completely & rebuilt that way we can really get The Hampden roar back.
Not a massive fan of Hampden Park it's a shambles of a stadium not fit for this century it was renovated on the cheep it was done as cheeply as they The S.F.A. could possibly get away with.
Ibrox Stadium & Celtic Park are far better Stadiums & I would enclud Tyncastle Park &
Easter Road aswell in terms of being better stadiums size is not everything when it comes to stadiums.

Im living in the Holland with me Scottish dad and Dutch mom. usually I always struggle to watch Scotland live on tv, luckily ziggo sport broadcasted the game live in Holland.

Oddly, I don’t feel it’s that massive a shock (and that’s not taking anything away from Scotland, it’s praising us). I think we’d make any team work for anything from the game nowadays.
I've been ill since Saturday & have missed both games. I wasn't even aware of the score against Cyprus going into this game. What a tremendous feat by the Scots, a result that takes me back to the last time Scotland defeated Spain at Hampden. King Kenny stole the headlines that night, McTominay of all players gets the plaudits tonight, although it looks like every man was a hero in blue tonight. Great coverage as ever Sam, you're a breath of fresh air when it comes to Scottish football, top man.

SFA should really look into you ... the respect for the fans, the story behind each club and location, stadium... you promote not only Football from Scotland but football in general ! And the resume after the games it's another plus from you. I'm from Portugal, you have seen my club and my stadium ( Sporting Clube de Portugal ) and it's going well when i see that you are going to more matches as "press".

You should definitely do the Poljud Stadium tour in Split, Croatia. It's a great city for tourists and you should have a great time learning about the local football giant Hajduk Split and its magnificent, but rusty stadium

Beeting Sweden in 1997 was much more important than both last night & against France as we actually made it to The World Cuo in France in
1998 as a result that Sweden side in 1997 was far better than that Soain side last night for a start they Sweden had a would class keeper in goals that day something Spain did not have last night.
If you remember at the time of both games against France that generation of Frensh players where gradually on the decline they where not all the players they had been in previous years this was post
winning both the World Cup & the Euro's you must keep that in mind.

I was at the game when Scotland beat Spain with Dalgleish scoring Scotland's third and the Crowd then was more than double the crowd tonight.
Hampden wasn't all-seating back then.

The Hampden Roar doesn't really exist any more. It dates from the days when the capacity was 100,000+ and there really was nothing else like it. I only experienced it once. It was terrifying!

Another great video. Your videos are excellent and I really enjoy watching them. You really capture the atmosphere inside the stadium and feeling of the support. Scotland were outstanding and would have beaten most sides last night playing they way they did. Spain were awful throughout and uncharacteristically kept passing the ball out the park or to Scotland players. Loved it from start to finish.
Great video again, Sam. When I supported Scotland back in the day ! There were 100,000 plus fans in the old Hampden. Just imagine if you took that crowd tonight and then put another 50,000 on top, that was a "proper" Hampden roar. BTW I foresee you becoming a well known reporter on some national British channel soon. You should have a go with the BBC. does not need to be in football either.

Amazing vid as always Sam, atmosphere looked incredible and what a match. Loved to hear from rodrigo, what a game for him to be able to attend. I’d argue his point about atmosphere here in the states though, mls has done a great job recently fostering supporter atmosphere in many places like LA, Austin, Atlanta, and now charlotte and St Louis. The struggle for many is the closest team might be a couple hours drive away. I’d definitely encourage him to get to a game when he gets a chance!
As for me I’ll be in Europe for the next year or two starting this summer and can’t wait to get to a Scotland game when they inevitably qualify for Germany 2024! Your videos have made them one of my favorite international squads to follow after the USA
Also I’d add the anthem with the live bagpipes is amazing and I felt goosebumps despite having no connection to Scotland at all

Very much enjoy your videos. Ayr beating Killie was a personal favourite. Top tip - try and get a seat in the North Stand next time. Expensive seats better for recording but the atmosphere isn’t the same.

Being 40 this year I have to say it's great seeing the kids buzzing about the national team. Brings back memories of euro 96 etc... But I wasn't as happy as these kids they need to embrace this Scotland run it's an era where we are a good side. Big up the channel
That is the key point. There has been a lost generation. Hopefully Clarke can bring them back. I was spoiled as a kid seeing us lose at tournament after tournament but at least we were there. Not getting carried away but not felt that good since Marshall saved that penalty
Brings back memories of the night big Joe Jordan headed us in to the 1974 world cup. That was the best Scotland team we ever sent to a world cup. Coach screwed up for not insisting our lads hammer Zaire by as many goals as possible because Yugoslavia put six past them and we only put three past them. We went out by goal difference.
