Scottish fan here, as much as we also want a win Ive no issue with England winning. Its all light hearted rivalry but only for the few that go OTT, also felt sorry for Maguire and Robertsons mistakes.

When I was growing up England v Scotland was always difficult to predict. A lot has changed and England seem light years ahead in footballing terms. The one thing that hasn’t changed Is the passion of both England and Scotland fans. Fair play to both sets of fans 👍

We won’t be singing ‘it’s coming home’ as we know it won’t be coming home to Glasgow anything soon but we would like some respect and for you guys to stop singing ‘it’s coming home’ as that’s history theft! 🙂

I’m half English (mum’s side) and half Scottish (dad’s side) so I hate these games. Euros was even worse! 😅 I just stay neutral when both teams play each other.

@@fusionjosh I just stay as neutral as possible. My general rule is I support Scotland at international football until they fail to qualify for a tournament and then support England during it. The last Euros was rough for me when they drew each other in the groups. Hoping they avoid each other for Euro 2024.
Scottish father, English mother. Always supported England. I did read on another post that a Scottish supporter was complaining about the number of English-born players in the Scottish team. Basically, Scotland going after England rejects. He was essentially complaining that there weren't enough 'Scotsman' in his team. I am not sure how you would go about righting that wrong. Ireland has a claim on some of the England team but given the environment created by Stephen Kenny would you really want to commit yourself to team Oirish. I can't imagine ever not playing for the national team you support but maybe the lure of international football is stronger than national loyalty.
I think once England are playing back at Wembley under pressure they’ll crumble & win fuckall !!!

England have an absolutely superb football team and fully deserved to beat Scotland however the English fans disrupting the minutes silence were appalling. I know it was only a few muppets but it was embarrassing. Just an observation about the crowd. English fans look unhappy supporters and appear to have a chip on their shoulder. They look stoney faced and angry whilst the majority of Scotland fans looked happy and upbeat with a touch of innocence. You guys need to stop watching programmes like the only way is Essex and love island and just enjoy watching the superb football team you have. Us Scot’s know we ain’t going to win anything anytime soon and are comfortable with that as a nation. We have nothing to prove as we invented almost everything!
