This man is the reason why I screamed at my TV for over 5 years. Now I'm sitting here wondering man I could easily get along with this guy
Could not agree more! I feel conflicted.
Cutler doesn’t deserve half the ire he gets from bears fans.
@@TheTominator
His lack of success as a QB and his criticism by the media, and his reserved demeanour in front of the media made people dislike him...
8 years for me
Ya the absentee offensive line in the latter yrs with the exception of Kyle Long is the culprit of the panic n anxiety issues
"You're not a swimmer!"
"I don't have to be a swimmer. Look at you. You're an anchor."
Damn, that was a good line from Cutler.
Damn i didnt get that til u commented that lol good shit though
LMBO 😂😂 hilarious.. You're an anchor...
Jay Cutler and Pat McAfee. MNF

My good buddy was teammates with Jay in Chicago. In the few times we hung out i can tell you Jay was super down to earth and cool. He even picked up my dinner tab without me even realizing it. I've always known that the way the media portrays him wasn't accurate.
Everybody know jay I hood guy lol he just dgaf on the field or in the locker room
When I was 11 years old me and my friend went to a UFC event and saw Jay Cutler walking out of the arena by himself after the event. We walked up and asked very politely if we could get picture. Without even looking at us, he said No and walked away.
This is such a believable thing haha
I wouldnt take a pic with ur cooky ass either
Yea I've met him in real life hes a fucking prick!!!
This makes a ton of sense because of how he was in after game interviews. He is the Bill Belichick of QBs. They love the game but hate the publicity obligations. Which i completely get. Unfortunately, for years because of this...I never realized that he was actually this cool. He just has to be in the correct setting with his homies.
Hey man. That story is better than a pic of Jay Cutler.
Met Jay at a bar in Chicago…I had just flew back home from Afghanistan and only had 8 days until I had to go back. I was in uniform , and wasn’t supposed to be at a bar but I had 4 hours to kill and no civvies. He was at the corner by himself and I nodded my head at him. That’s it. Didn’t want to fuck with him. He ended up buying my drinks and thanked me for my service. Cool dude. Honestly
Jay Cutler got a raw deal in Chicago, every year he had a different cordinator who in the world could go through that playing football in the NFL.
Why do common folk make excuses for niggas with millions? He dont care, why do you?
I live in chicago and always liked Jay. You always knew he could win a game and make any throw at any time...but the multiple pick games came like every Sunday. Lol!
@@ronniewest87 the fact that you used “common folk” and “nigga” in the same sentence means your comment is invalid
Don't forget he had a unbelievably shitty offensive line!!!! JaMarcus Webb was an absolute bust.
This king told his Ex to get a job!! 😂😂
Yes!
She had a job.
Past tense
Spending Jay's money?
🐐 off the field
He's just a chill guy, who saw the NFL for what it was through out his career and knew that if he didn't have a line or the offensive talent his teams weren't going to succeed. People take that as not caring or whatever, but it's just his demeanor. Like how would you react to getting your ass whooped for 8 years? He got that contract and never looked back, good for him.
You must have diabetes too to defend this piece of shit.
Fr was gonna say he’s had some good asa talent over the years he just was trash 😂
@@Hugh_Jasol haha you a Bear's fan?
@@MikeBNumba6 Yup and I'm old enough to remember their first and only Super Bowl and when Vince Evans was the last drafted black QB. Its been a lot of years of agony. Cutler is the worst overpaid QB in franchise history, if you don't count the great Ryan Pace signing of Mike Glennon for 1 year - $18 million. Only the Bears franchise will keep a guy like Ryan Pace this long for so many misses and very few hits.
@@Hugh_Jasol understandable. I'm a Browns fan so I know how you guys feel about your qb position over the years.
I can hear the pain of disappointment in your comment. Hopefully Mitch turns it around.
Always liked Jay Cutler despite of what the critics said about him
handsome25286 he was underrated . People forget that in his prime the Bears had no defense. Bears front office was to blame for all the failures
Mike Christy no weapons either. He was dealt a bad hand here 😡
Dramacydal 2019 true that, they also released B Marsh to early
Same here.
@@mikechristy2291 That is the most bullshit false thing I've ever heard. The bears was still known for their defense because of the bears mediocre offense. Brian Urlacher was still playing during Cutler's prime. Jay Cutler was never "underrated"
That Vanderbilt story from Jay is amazing. "That's fine, I don't even play TE" Wait...Who is this? LOL
The background boys creeped me out
Just waiting for their turn.
Cutlers Goons
Jay's cronies
I know this was a while ago, but I like how much info Jay gives. He’s actually a pretty solid listen. Tbh, I started watching Very Cavallari, and he was the only reason I kept watching. He needs a podcast.
that's exactly happen to me he is hilarious
Brad Holtz completely agree with everything you said. but i will say Jameis Winston is far more talented than Cutler, yet Cutler kept a starting job his whole career .... B Marshall is the most underrated WR in history.... look at his stats, he’s a Top 10 all time WR
AndrewLetit FlowWolf oh I’m not gonna argue his playing stats or ability. B. Marsh was amazing, had he not dealt with those mental issues. I just think Jay’s a good listen.
When is this from?
I know it has been a while. It might have been early this year. Darnold has mono last year so it was after September. Maybe January.

@Ian Jackson 😂
I wanna tell all of em to get lost, first thing these dudes talk about on this podcast is how much jay cutler is a dick to them
I think you got a crush on em
I was just waiting for one of them to say "you da man Jay" while holding their drink up.
If your buddies had a show an invited a football player or even just someone you really like. You're telling me you wouldn't want to be in that room even if it's in the back.
As a Bears fan, I liked him. He had no line and had to deal with a new offensive coordinator damn near every year. J Cutty was cool with me.
I remember being so excited when we traded for jay cutler like 8 years old glued to the tv
Respect to Smokin' Jay!
That was 11 years ago my friend.
Saying he was 8 years old.
@@itsmeaz4061 *8ish but it doesny matter, we were all super hype when that trade went down dont lie, we were alllll hype for smokin jay those first couple years

Screw your profile pic
Jay Cutler is a cool dude, I’d love to hear him on TV
im only a bears fan because of cutler. when i got diabetes he was by far the best athlete with it so i instantly became a fan

“Matt Leinart, Vince Young.....” Goddamn I remember watching that draft. Shit is crazy how he far outlasted both of them.
Jay is such a mellow, cool dude.
I feel like I've judge Cut all wrong over the years! His shoes tells you all you need to know about him! Casual, stylish yet simple! I like him.
Interesting with all the sh*t that Brandon Marshall talks about him on the FS1 & ESPN TV circuit after his retirement that Jay would really speak fondly of their time together and never take a shot back at him. Even mentioning that they still stay in touch. Classy guy.
"you're an anchor" lmaooo
Jay Cutler took some of the biggest hits I've seen.
But he got up and didnt complain, he kept it moving. He didnt pan out but he earned his money getting the shit knocked out of him by the best linebackers in the nfl Alone
Slick Rick one of the QB’s who never got the credit he deserved, absolutely beaten and soldiered through
He would make some of the most ridiculous throws off his back foot like he wasnt even trying.
He earned his money by taking a bunch of sacks? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! He stole money most of his career!
Hugh Jasol the bears didn’t have to sign him. They could have gotten rid of him if they really wanted to. He didn’t force anyone to pay him. Maybe he didn’t earn it but by no means did he steal money money. It’s the nfl grow up lmao
@@Hugh_Jasol no he earned it.
Cutler is freaking hilarious! 😂
I've defended this man his entire bear career and will continue to. Cool dude. Cannon for an arm.
As one of the few bears fans who defended this guy, I'm feeling such redemption now.
My favorite part is when Big Cat doesn’t interrupt
Cutty will not be finessed out of his cash!

I hope Jay knows how much Bears fans love him now
Kriggs20 Speak for yourself bud. Cutler was mediocre at best. The man threw so many interceptions it wasn’t even funny.
Nathan Ramos The dude just said fuck it and chucked it. Gotta respect it.
Kriggs20 I would say fuck it and chuck it when your coach only wants to do 7 step drops with no O-Line

Favorite part is when Cutler says "I still watching Aaron". That statement cut Big Cat like a freaking knife lmao.

JMoney Hitek same crazy to think I hated him but I’d be happy to have him back lol
This is a great podcast🙏 jay is a cool dude.
He seems much happier being retired. It looks good on him.
It's interesting to me after watching The Last Dance & seeing MJ at practices shouting at teammates that Cutler did that on the field when his WRs dropped a ball, or Lineman didn't protect him yet people say he was lazy or didn't care/play with passion.
Harry P. Ness that’s your typical bias MJ has always been coddled since before high school

Jay Cutler seems to have the same exact brain as the interviewers/CZcams dorks, except he was born into a crazy athletic body. Am I crazy or would he be a HILARIOUS sports commentator on Network TV?
he seems a little smarter than them tho tbh
@@hotkarl2961 Well he did go to Vanderbilt
Jay is intelligent..
You have to be intelligent as shit to be a QB in the nfl. That’s why the majority of them, especially the success ones, are white. No racism tho.
THOMAS MARCEL So true! That’s why the wunderlic is still administered.... and Johnny Manziel is unemployed. I guess what I was getting at is he has a similar personality; laid back and casual dude.
If the receiver is not there, it's not gonna be your fault.... LMFAO 😂
Easily the best podcast
Never really liked or not liked him throughout his football career cause hey when it comes to the NFL Iam all in my Baltimore Ravens universe, but listening to him he is such a likeable dude!!!
He seems happy and light spirits.
This was great to watch! It was fascinating to watch as he illuminated certain experiences he had as a player in a very candid manner and you learn about what goes on within the season and in the culture of the NFL. The Mike Martz bit was pretty hilarious and pretty revealing on so many levels. Just goes to show that the narrative MSM paints about people can't be trusted until one actually gets to know a person. When one learns the truth about a guy who you could probably have a beer with and shoot the shit with only to find out he is just a regular guy like you, then that is when all of it changes in terms of looking back in hindsight.
Jay Cutler could have been a top quarter back but the o line was ass in Chicago.
Was, is, and always will be.... thus is the life of us bears fans...

Imagine prime Cutler with the current Bears D. They'd be SuperBowl champions.
If Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind. I'd have gone pro…in a heartbeat

Always have had a man crush on Jay. Glad to see damn near a hour of him
Jay's so handsome and so humble !!!!!
He had one of the strongest arms in the history of the league and in college he was a man amongst boys
Damn.. this is the happiest and most engaged I've ever seen him. I've only seen him in clips of his wife's show and I literally thought that he was just unhappy/tired all the time... It's honestly kind of heart wrenching to see such a strong change in his demeanor in response to receiving some love and admiration for a change. I bet this was the best day he had in awhile. Thank God they're divorced now. I bet his life is so much more positive
Do a 200 IM at Jay’s place.
I love his sense of humor
I wish Jay had an offensive line. I wish any Bear QB had an O line.
It would be interesting to see him with Nagy

Jay Cutler is the man!
As a lifelong bears fan... I fucking love Jay Cutler. So many great moments watching him play. I wish they could have won at least an NFC title with him, but the situation was just impossible.

we need Jay back in the NFL... it's just more fun that way
Jay Cutler is cool, man. Good interview.
I know he threw a lot of picks, but he’s still my all time favorite bear. I miss watching him every week. Always seemed like we “had a chance” even if he had nothing to help him
I am a huge bears fan for the past 10 years at least and I never disliked cutler. I am actually a huge fan of cutler and was glad he was on our team because i knew all of our troubles werent his fault. he played pretty well in my opinion. I would love to meet him some day to tell him how much of a fan i am of him.
Dude Smokin Jay is the man
IMO the most under accomplished NFL QB of the millennial era. So, so, SO MUCH natural talent
You can boycott being Micd’ Up? Jay: I don’t know but I did.
Jay proved he could play the moment he stepped on the field for Vanderbilt. I dc what anyone says he was better than a lot of qb who have won super bowls.
Totally laid back and hilarious!
Smokin Jay was an all time interview
I spent a lot of time in a lot of bars defending Cutler, funny thing was the people that understood his talent and generally untenable situation were usually packers fans. Not sure why Bears fans can’t grasp the idea of the offense as a unit that includes the coaches, and why they have to hate every QB they get. In my opinion, Jay is the best QB the Bears have ever had. They should have kept him through the end of his contract while they developed Trubisky. They and Mitch would have been better for it.
Jay would have been a very awesome QB if he was on another team! The bears did him a huge disservice because of the fact that they never invested in building around him, solidifying the offensive line, consistency with coaching, things that a team and a QB needs to be successful. Look what my ravens are doing and have had the guts to do with Lamar, that’s what the bears should have done with Jay.
When the Bears traded for him, I was at the Cubs game when he arrived in Chicago and led "Take Me Out To The Ballgame." You would have thought the Pope was arriving in Rome, the crowd was so loud.
Crazy to think about how poorly his time in Chicago ended, and how happy fans were to see him cut loose.
Hell yeah cubs fans are idiots.. SOUTHSIDE!🍀
I think cutler is big cats best friend... I don’t think Big Cat is Cuttys best friend though
