- How many Disney characters has Alan Tudyk voiced? We have answers! See him as Valentino in Disney's #Wish only in theaters November 22. 🐐
ABOUT THE MOVIE
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force-a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe-the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico-to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. Featuring the voices of Academy Award®-winning actor Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino, the film is helmed by Oscar®-winning director Chris Buck (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (“Raya and the Last Dragon”), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones (“Encanto”). Jennifer Lee (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) executive produces-Lee and Allison Moore (“Night Sky,” “Manhunt”) are writers on the project. With original songs by Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels and Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice, plus score by composer Dave Metzger, “Wish” opens only in theaters on Nov. 22, 2023.

It’s like Alan is the key to all Disney movies
A key to the bad ones maybe 💀
Almost to John Ratzenburger in most Pixar films
So you’re saying Wreck it Ralph, Frozen, Encanto, Zootopia, and Moana are bad movies? For someone with 2 Disney characters referenced in your name, I’m disappointed in you….
He looks like Boom from power Rangers spd
agreed
Alan Tudyk is literally Disney Animation’s answer to John Ratzenberger and acts as Disney’s good luck charm having appeared in every Disney animated film since _Wreck-It Ralph._
Looking forward on the next Disney animated films that Tudyk will be a part of and hopefully he gets a Disney Legends Award sooner than later as he’s literally been a huge part of the Disney family.
He's a great good-luck charm to disney like john!
He NEEDS to be nominated as a Disney legend
Pinto Colvig
It's a shame the John Ratzenburg charm ended when Soul came out but he's coming back for Inside Out 2. He was the one that hinted this sequel when he put the puberty button in
@@chad9186 Technically it was a likeness of John, but John’s most recent film was _Onward_
After watching the montage of all other Disney voices, his “who know my voice could be this low?” Line hits so well💀
I hope he gets named a Disney Legend at D23 2024. This man is incredible.
You can see how he always gives his all in a performance.
From King Candy to Valentino, Alan Tudyk is a Legend 🌠
He’s a great voice actor! As of Wreck-it Ralph, he made appearances in every Disney animated movie. This is just like how John Ratzenberger appeared in every Pixar movie, Stan Lee appearing in every Marvel movie (up to Captain Marvel), and the 2 aliens Kodos & Kang appear in every Treehouse of Horror episode of The Simpsons.
But John Ratzenberger hasn’t been in any Pixar films lately with his most recent Pixar film he did, being _Onward._
Alan tyduk is Walt Disney animation studios lucky charm similar what John Ratzenberger was for Pixar. Very talented man!
Love that his tribute to Ed Wynn for King Candy came full circle with him playing the Mad Hatter now!
Alan Tudyk is one of the goat animated voice actors like Jim Cummings, Keith David, Frank Welker, Tim Curry, and Brad Garrett.
Alan is going to definitely steal the show in Wish
He’s a legend
His clayface impression is so hilarious.
Have loved Alan Tudyk since I first saw him in A Knight's Tale.
Alan is so insanely talented, I LOVE HIM
Alan is not only a Disney treasure but has amazing range. 💖
Alan is The Mad Hatter in Once Upon A Studio!?! Mind blown!
Him and Jim Cummings in a project together would be fun!
he’s so good at voice acting
Alan Tudyk is a National Treasure! He's consistently great in everything he's in.
Alan is such a talented actor and voice actor! He has also voiced a droid in Star Wars. But to me he was most memorable as the pilot in Firefly (that's not Disney..) where he showed, that he can act just as well as doing voices.
Firefly was Fox, so Disney probably owns it.
@@tiffanysandmeier4753 That's true.
I only knew him from Firefly and sooo SURPRISED when I found out what a phenomenal character voice actor he is!
It was either after Frozen or when Zootopia came out that I realized that Disney was putting Alan in everything. His Zootopia character was such an Easter egg for his Frozen role.
He sounded so accurate for the duke and Valentino
11 years since Alan Tudyk did his first Disney role as the Evil King Candy aka Turbo, he got 10 previous Disney Animated roles and his first Live action role as George Darling in “Disney’s Peter Pan and Wendy”, and now he’s doing the upcoming role of Valentino in “Disney’s Wish” and the unknown role of the Live Action Disney film “SNOW WHITE” which comes out on March 21st, 2025
#BoycottSnowWhite2025
@@lorenzopaschoalpossatti6192 Phooey! I this movie flops!
Iirc he also did voice acting for The Land Before time series too
Tudyk’s recurring roles in Disney’s recent movies reminds me of how’d you hear Sterling Holloway, Verna Felton, Pat Buttram, Phil Harris, Paul Winchell, John Fiedler, J Pat O’Malley and Sebastian Cabot in a lot of Disney’s older films.
I LOVE ALAN SO MUCH
He is the Bill Thomson, Phill Harris, and Pat Buttram of this generation.
Don’t forget David Ogden Stiers.
@@MrTimshellscherber who?
@@harrisoncora4259He was a voice actor who was in the 90’s renaissance film having voiced Cogsworth in _Beauty and the Beast,_ Governor Ratcliffe and Wiggins in _Pocahontas,_ The Archdeacon in _Hunchback of Notre Dame_ and Jumba Jookiba in _Lilo & Stitch_ the latter released in 2002.
@@harrisoncora4259Don’t forget J. Pat O’Malley and Sterling Holloway
@@harrisoncora4259 He’s the voice of Cogsworth from Beauty And The Beast, Governor Radcliffe and Wiggins from Pocahontas, The Archdeacon from The Hunchback Of Norte Dame, Mr. Jolly From Teacher’s Pet, Fenton Q. Harcourt From Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Jumba Jookiba from Lilo And Stitch, The Narrator from the Winne The Pooh direct to video films and the American Dragon: Jake Long episode The Talented Mr. Long, and The King and The Prime Minister from The Cat That Looked At A King.
He. Is. The. Best. Love him especially in Resident Alien!
Alan Tudyk did a heck of a Great job with his voice acting from Disney, Love you my guy
Outside of WDAS, he voiced Ludo in _Star vs. the Forces of Evil,_ Iago in the remake of _Aladdin,_ the House of Tomorrow on _The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,_ K-2SO in _Rogue One,_ and the Scroll in _Disenchanted._
BTW, I'm just now realizing that the voice he uses for Valentino is essentially the Clayface voice he does for _Harley Quinn._ (If you're under 18, do _NOT_ look that up. Trust me.)
This guys is an absolute legend for Disney
He voiced Ludo and King River in Star vs The Forces of Evil
In Japan, there is a voice actor named Koichi Yamadera, and Kohei Tadano, who plays characters in many Disney works like Alan, so I felt a great sense of familiarity when he and Alan played the same character in this episode of Wish. Alan also has a unique and expressive acting style that is very interesting.
By the way, some of the Disney characters played by Koichi Yamadera include Donald Duck, Beast, Genie, Ralph, Mushu, Stitch, and Roger Rabbit. I think I almost heard his voice in Once Upon a Studio lol
Unrelated to Disney, but I'm pretty sure he's also Lord Beerus in Dragon Ball Super
Ngl, King Candy is my favorite of his roles so far. He's seriously turbo-tastic! 😂😊
He voices a lot of animals :)
I miss Frank Welker!
Oh wow I had no idea. He is good character actor.
Similar to when John Ratzenburger was in every Disney/Pixar film.
I think there needs to be an attraction at one of the Disney Parks called Tudyk-land where it's just all of his characters interacting with each other.
He is a fantastic actor and voice actor
He's absolutely a turbo-tastic actor!
Valentino should be a meet and greet at the Disney Parks! MAKE HIM BIPEDAL!
From tucker and dale vs evil to Disney’s regular
Can't forget Sonny from "I, Robot"!
It's not a comprehensive list of all his voice roles, but they covered most of them.
Alan Tudyk is amazing, and I loved his vocal range, it is brilliant!
But oh my god is the goat such a low point for his talent and skill.
He’s a great voice acting.
The fact he is basically using the clayface voice is going to distract me. I can tell.
It’s like he can be the next Mel Blanc. The Man of a Thousand Voices.
bro he’s a legend! he’s like the john ratzenberger of disney!
Great characters indeed and an upcoming movie I'm looking forward to
Can't forget K-2SO! Such a great range of characters 👏
Just about to comment this! Loved his performance of K-2SO!
Omg Alan Tudyk is the key to Disney Magic
just release the recording session of heihei unedited, that is some gold footage
Let's not also forget his voice roles for Disney outside the main animation studio like Ludo from Star VS the Forces of Evil, K2-SO from Rogue One & the scroll from Disenchanted.
I adored him the first time I saw him in A Knight's Tale. The fact that I've failed to recognize him in so many voice roles that I love is pure testament to his talent. And Resident Alien is pure genius in every facet but especially in how balanced it is as a science-fiction dramedy.
Alan is to Disney what John Ratzenberger was to Pixar and Tim Curry is to bad movies.
"For everyone first star a movie gets, he's the reason it got that first star."
It's time to make Alan Tudyk a Disney Legend!!!
They have 2 get this guy on The Kelly Clarkson Show!
Tudyk sure has range. When he voiced a character, they all sound so different.
😂😂 Love that Krei from BH 6 is just his regular voice
Alan is such a talented actor. His energy in the booth is reminiscent of the late Great Robin Williams
A talented man
How is this man not a Disney Legend yet??
Alan is key to all the new Disney Villain definitely King Candy and animals he had fun playing Hei Hei so he going to have so much fun playing talking goat Valentino at last 🐐🐓❤️❤️
The new Frank Welker
And the new John Ratzenberger
@@lightningraven7013 I haven't heard Ratzenberger do animal sound effects. Also Ratzenberger was Pixar movies only but after Onward, he never did an extra voice in Pixar movies again
He's also King Butterfly in Star vs the forces of evil
And Ludo!
Could Alan Tudyk be a part of Winnie the Pooh?
They forgot he was Iago in the Live Action Aladdin
WDAS Only the bigger snub was Strange World i know it bombed but it should have been included
On the new film adaptation of Jeff Smith's "Bone" by Disney, it will be the first Walt Disney Animation Studios film not to feature Alan Tudyk.
Unforgivable
wait he voiced king candy aka turbo cool
Alan Tudyk is amazing!!
TIL Duke Weaselton is a play on the Duke of Weselton from Frozen
Alan is a work of art
0:28 I like his hair here😂😂
Well, Alan Tudyk is really good at what he does. He’s basically like Disney’s good luck charm in their movies at this point.
I just hope his role as Valentino can be received as en enjoyable character. Despite the potty humor the goats being given to work with…
I guess that’s just modern Disney humor. But hopefully there can be more jokes apart from that. Although the one where he mentions his mother being shaved for yarn.
And the random words he uses, before revealing he can’t count, are at least funnier than the other “jokes”. Oh and the “my butt found it.” Line sounds like it’s been re-recorded. In my opinion that one sounds better than the trailer version.
Loving him in residential alien tight now, I can't believe how much credibility in voice acting he has... and ice age?! And the Harley Quinn show as clayface?! Alan Tudyk is my new favorite actor period
PHENOMENAL💪👍🤩
Alan Tudyk (like Pixar) is Walts Disney Animation's John Ratzenberger.😄🌟✨️
Disney Pixar
I'm starting to see more of the traditional hand drawn style appearance of Valentino.
The Duke of Weselton and Duke Weaselton both heing Alan Tudyk is not a coincidence.
He voices a lot of animal characters! Makes me think that he should be cast as Yoshi for the Mario Movie sequel!!!
He's the modern Frank Welker of Disney.
I just realized Duke Weaselton from Zootopia is supposed to be a reference of Duke of Weselton from Frozen
I bet he’s my favourite actor that he voiced simone from Alvin and the chipmunks chipwrecked & Optimus prime from Transformers earthspark he voiced 11 Disney characters🙌🏻
King Candy was pretty much Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time, if she was officially evil.
Alan is THE most underrated actor today. The man is insanely talented! I'll watch an entire movie JUST for him.
Finally a character who is close to the main, and can TALK instead of being a creature voice.
Alan is the best and funny guy of animated voices!
When he plays Valentino think of Tom Kane
No one brings that manic crackhead energy to a role quite like Tudyk
Alan is great!
Even if he’s a king, google or a goat, he’s still a legend
This is going to be legendary!
Now we need him to be protagonist since he’s been everything else
Steve the Pirate sure is one the most versatile voice actors out there right now
He’s really come a long way from Steve the Pirate on Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.
He is so talented. I love this man. Please more Films with him. ❤️❤️
Other dream casting actors that I would cast for broadway style animated musical would be broadway actors James Corden and Seth McFarlane as another dynamic hand drawn duo
Alan Tudyk is the talent!!! I love this guys since The Knight's Tale! 😚❤
I know no one can replace Robin Williams, but he is kind of the Robin Williams of voices.
I love Alan Tudyk so much. He’s so amazing at these Disney roles as Turbo/King Candy in Wreck It Ralph, the Duke of Weselton in Frozen, Alistair Krei in Big Hero 6, Duke Weaselton in Zootopia, Heihei in Moana, Knowmore in Ralph Breaks the Internet, Tuk Tuk in Raya and the Last Dragon, Pico in Encanto, Valentino in Wish, and Mad Hatter in Once Upon a Studio.😍🥰💖💜💙🌈🦄📱
Fun fact: He’s also the voice of Clayface in Harley Quinn. Now you know why Valentino sounds familiar.
I thought this was going to be about Alan Menken and I got excited
