I dont think No Water Fasting is safe, we can survive 40 days but with water
We only do 1 day without water! It’s called an absolute fast. I’ve never done more than 1 day of no water, so i would not recommend anymore to anyone else. Research EVERYTHING we speak from our personal experiences. Love you all
You can go without water for a time actually. Your body switches into a mode where it retains the ions like salts to help retain water. You will no longer need to pee. But you have to train the body for water scarcity. As long as the salt is present you can go a long time without drinking.
The science behind fasting is amazing. I recommend looking into it. I would suggest start with studying Autophagy.

Normally the body can go without water for 7 days. But as a doctor and a pastor I would never recommend anyone to go that long. I myself have done 30 and 40 days of juice fasting that help me overcome prostate and colon cancer. I've also done 3 days, 2 weeks and 30 days of water fasting. 30 days of water fasting needs to be done under supervision.

Fasting is DELIVERANCE! Im 55 married mom and enjoy listening to you girls and the wisdom you have. I did my first fast at 31. It is life changing. Prior to the fast I didn’t cook and I ate a lot of junk food. The first thing I was convicted after the fast was of was my poor eating habits and the Lord gave me a desire to cook and prepare healthy meals.🙌🏻

You only did water and tea or fasted from water and tea? I always usually only fast food and feel guilty sometimes for having coffee in it still.
I only drank water and tea for four days. He delivered me from demonic oppression and witchcraft that was in my bloodline. Some demons only leave through fasting and prayin!@@Meghan_Hoefs

my roommate/bestfriend who I use to party with before I was saved. has always been respectful of my change and relationship with god. But yesterday She asked to join me in this fast and bible study.
The amount of emotions I’m feeling since is overwhelming I’m so excited to introduce her to god and hope this is a beautiful new beginning for her and myself.
God I thank you for Isabelle’s faith because not only has her faith drawn her closer to you Lord but her best friend as well. I pray that you continue to reveal yourself to Isabelle and her friend and that they can experience a supernatural breakthrough! In Jesus name amen✝️🤍

Prayer request: i have a doctors appointment on monday been dealing with seizures since the age of 16 im 25 now and finally getting answers as to what is going on. Monday is my eeg test results to know if i have epilepsy or PNES. Id just like some peace of mind and release of anxiety. I did my first fast and it ended yesterday March 14th 2024 ! And I prayed to God to confirm and clarify for me the things he revealed and put on my heart.
This morning March 15th after prayer , I got my notification for a new episode of GGB and here I found in the first 15 minutes of the episode my exact confirmation and answer to what I asked. It’s not a coincidence it’s not luck it is the Power and the mercy and the Grace and the divine work of Jesus Christ our saviour! Thank you so much God for using this platform and these women as vessels to reach a multitude of people who are in desperate need of your saving grace ! Our church does 21 day fasting and it’s AMAZING! The full 21 days is no social media/tv/internet outside of work and church related content - the first 7 days is mostly to focus on the no social media, week 2 is give up something that you use daily so for example: caffeine, sweets, nicotine etc. the week 3 is 1 meal per day. When I tell you that God has changed my life through the fasting, I MEAN IT 😭 HE is incredible. I haven’t been the same since 🙌🏼 He has changed every aspect of my life. I owe it all to Him.

The Lord is truly here. I'm currently on a 3 day fast. Today is my second day and I started feeling week and desiring to end it but I made a prayer for God to strengthen me so I can go through the fast period. I was scrolling randomly through my CZcams for Gods word to listen to(not even specifically on fasting) when I came across this video. I’ve recently decided to follow Christ within like the last week. That recent. I just discovered your podcast this morning. I’ve been sober from drugs and alcohol for five years. I have four beautiful children and a loving husband. I was in active addiction, while I was trying to take care of my oldest as a single mother. Because of my unstable lifestyle, he suffers from mental health issues. He is very angry and aggressive and quick to use his fist. He’s only 11 years old. We put him in behavioral health residential program. I’ve been praying for him every night. He is making progress, but it is slow. in your podcast, you said that you do prayer request. If you could please just pray for my son. Ethin. And our family. We want to bring him home from the program, but we need to know that he will be safe enough to have around his younger brothers and sisters. I really love your podcast and have been listening to you all day. Thank you for your work. my cousin got me a Bible and I read like the first two pages. I don’t know where to start other than just praying.
This is beautiful Ashley. I will pray for your growth as a Christian woman and for your son. Please immerse yourself in God’s word to grow your faith. Find yourself a good church and you will have a support group. The power of God will heal your son, but it’s up to you and his father to disciple him and lead him to the foot of the cross. My family does family worship nights and Bible studies to keep our faith strong and to grow our children in love for Christ. Coming to Jesus is the best thing you could have ever done for yourself and your family. Christians break the chains of generational curses and replace them with generational blessings. Without Jesus there is no purpose to life, but once you are reborn it is very clear that your purpose is to create ambassadors for Christ and bring as many to the kingdom with you as you can.
The old testament is great and critically important to our faith, but it can be hard to understand and get through for a new Christian. May I suggest starting in the Gospel of John, so that you have a deep understanding of the perfect blood that has given you new life. And the book of Acts is a great book to understand the infancy of the Christian religion. It was written in the times of the first churches after our saviors resurrection and ministry, and finally read the book of Romans. It is powerful and important to understanding the blessings the father has given us and will strengthen your walk with Christ. You and your family are at the top of my prayer list my sister in Christ. God bless you for the door you have just opened for your family.

I had the conviction to fast from the Lord all of a sudden at the end of my day before I was about to cook dinner for me and my boyfriend. I kept going back and forth with it and then I just said out loud “You know what, let your will be done, Lord” and I just felt the Holy Spirit smile 😊😊 I am also in a period of learning how to come out of being lukewarm in faith and I feel like just committing to this sudden call is a milestone in that!!!

Prayer Request: my family is in shambles. My husband was on drugs and is not a man of God. He says he is. He recently went to rehab but only lasted five days. He is now in a border patrol prison for trying to cross the border and having ammunition in his truck. We have two small baby girls who ask about him everyday. Just some info regarding fasting that may help you….it’s important to continue to drink water as your body needs to remain hydrated for your organs etc. And if you google “how to start a fast” and “how to end a fast” so that your body can handle it. Some people may have medical issues which Jesus understands (and they can believe Him for healing) so they can fast something that means something to them without completely not eating- and some people’s blood sugar levels require a little sugar so they may need to drink juice. You may want to put a disclaimer on the video to protect yourselves. We love you! We watch you every week and you are reaching so many precious souls that need to know how much Jesus loves them! I don’t usually engage/comment on videos but I have to say this couldn’t be more timely. I went through a lot the past few years that caused me to unfortunately backslide. I broke up with someone 2 weeks ago who I thought was going to be my husband. I was so lost and broken that I couldn’t be alone. I was constantly on FaceTime with my mom or friends. I fasted and prayed for 3 days last week and God delivered me from more in those few days than I have ever been. Mind you, I had to fight for my life because I was mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually weak, but GOD. Never underestimate the power of the Word. I had to have my nose in my Bible the whole three days while working!! Praise Jesus y’all

Many of the things we are dealing with are in our subconscious mind. These are things we picked up as young children and have progressed into adulthood. Over the past 3 weeks I asked the Holy Spirit to bring to my mind everything and every person that I hurt and that I was hurt by. My prayers were answered immediately. For these past 3 weeks he brought to my mind things and people that I suppressed for years and had forgotten about. I had to face those things head on, confess them, and release them. I then released blessings, peace, forgiveness, and love to the LORD first, then myself, and lastly others. I literally felt a release of things I never confronted. Your subconscious mind is powerful and has a hand in your behavior. This is why the bible says to be transformed by the renewing of your MIND.
Wow thank you for sharing your comment. I’m seeking the Holy Spirit to reveal to me any unforgiveness or bitterness in my heart from people that have hurt me or even by my own self sabotaging ways. I pray that Jesus is the one only thing that keeps you with inner peace and joy. The enemy is a fat liar and that whatever he throws at you or tries to say against you has no power or authority in Jesus name. Jesus loves you so much. The first time I fasted for a day, it was definitely challenging. However, I noticed that fasting afterwards, it got easier! Same thing when adding multiple days. The first three day fast I did was really hard because the body just isn't used to that, but it got easier the more often I did it! Every time you start feeling pain or weakness, just know that it's proof that you're willfully sacrificing your body to deepen your relationship with God!

Prayer request : Ive been really struggling with purpose for months now, for the longest time I thought I knew what I wanted to do and took steps towards that everyday. But now, as time has gone by and my relationship with Jesus is stronger and stronger, I found myself drifting further and further from what I thought was my life purpose. I'm feeling lost and unsure of what to do and I'm afraid to take a step forward as I don't know what God wants me to do.

My journey with you began during a really tough time for me. My parents' divorce during my first year of college left me feeling crushed. I was overwhelmed with stress, anxiety, and panic attacks. I felt lost and turned to my family for support, but I still felt empty inside. As a Christian, I've always found comfort in my faith. I loved going to church and teaching kids about Jesus. But despite my efforts, I struggled to feel close to God during my hardest times. I prayed a lot, asking for real friendships that would help me understand God better. Loved this episode. Fasting is probably the hardest spiritual discipline for me, as I struggle with food addiction/binge eating disorder and so restriction can trigger my BED and cause a binge IFFF I’m not doing it in the Lord’s strength. As a hospice/palliative care worker, I will caution about fasting from water. One of the ways our patients can choose to end their life is by doing a process called VSED, or Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking. 3 days is the longest you can go without water without causing irreversible damage to your organs. Not saying that short term fasts from all intake is necessarily physically harmful, but please use caution withholding water and don’t push it too hard.

I can’t believe how aligned the spirit is amongst the body of Christ. All of this is exactly what I needed, this spiritually motivated me to continue my current fast and encouraged me to look forward to it because of Gods blessing and I know he delights in our sacrifice.
Great discussion, I remember some years back our pastor called for a 40 day fast. We each took a day. I personally took a day I just drank water and listened to worship music all day, prayed,etc. The next day was awesome I felt like I was on cloud 9 in the spirit. That following evening after I got off work I went to a church where our pastor was speaking. When I got to the parking lot after I parked my car, got out. I literally started running to get in side the church and It was awesome. That service was awesome also.

The Lord is truly here. I'm currently on a 3 day fast. Today is my second day and I started feeling week and desiring to end it but I made a prayer for God to strengthen me so I can go through the fast period. I was scrolling randomly through my CZcams for Gods word to listen to(not even specifically on fasting) when I came across this video. I'm fasting today and DANG... it's exactly what I needed to do. My mind already feels so renewed, my will is starting to be more aligned to God's, and I can just feel myself naturally operating more in the Spirit, with more compassion, peace, and love. Emptying myself completely and depriving myself brings the Holy Spirit to LIFE. 🙏
I ask for prayers that my family will be completely overcome and saved by the love of Jesus and delivered from all powers of darkness. I want to see them raised to new life in Jesus.
I also ask for prayers that my faith would be more deeply rooted in Jesus alone. I've found that I've stopped fasting and praying in the Spirit like I used to a few months ago, and I've conformed in the last season to the people around me and the way they practice their faiths. I've compromised and made excuses. I've definitely been having a hard time hearing from God in this past season and truly walking in the Spirit. It's been a dry season. The Lord is really convicting my heart of this and I need prayer that I am able to maintain my spiritual disciplines and live out my convictions so I can abide in Jesus and walk in the light! This was the first full episode of your podcast that I’ve watched while I was driving home last night. My fiancé and I are new to the Christian faith and are learning all the things. Fasting doesn't have to hurt. The idea about fasting is giving up something you enjoy. I have an Orthodox Christian background and fasting is basically just giving up meat and dairy usually for prolonged periods. I've also done juice fasts where you eat only fruits and vegetables for three days then switch off to just drinking fresh vegetable and fruit juice for the next six days and end the fast off with eating only fruits and vegetables for a couple more days before returning to your normal diet. This type of fast is very beneficial for cleansing the body. It also highly sensitizes your system. Fasting is used to honor Christs sacrifice for us but the most important thing is not what goes into our mouths but what comes out. Thanks for your prospectives on this subject. I would also HIGHLY recommend social media fasts, I would say social media is the BIGGEST distractions between us and God in these modern times, use the time you would usually spend on socials praying, worshipping, reading the word, being a good steward of the earth, be more helpful/ giving, just sitting in silence with Him etc! Food fasts are amazing but I say also make your fast personal to you and ask God 'what do I put before You that I need to give up' and fast that thing (could be food/swearing/social media/ listening to secular music/ your favourite drink/ watching tv etc the list is endless and personal, it could be anything!) , whatever you decide to do, fasting is incredible! You've got this sisters and brothers xx

Praying at all times of the day instead of just once, being consistent with my prayer journal, I’m already vegan so the food part isn’t too challenging for me but it does make me realize how many things I was eating that had added sugar - sticking to whole foods has been eye opening so I’ll definitely be keeping that up after the fast for 85-90% of my diet & intentionally reading the Bible has strengthen my faith sooo much more. There’s a lot of wonderful things that have happened so far and I’m very blessed. However, there have also been some tough moments where I just feel defeated. I know it’s the nature of this type of fast & God will support me throughout my last week. 🙏🏾❤️

Pray and fast I had the same problem I would drink holy water and take oil from a miracle monastery and apply it on my head to heal every night and pray to saints and god to heal me and he did, I had something similar with headaches and ptsd and now im almost as if I have nothing

So its early morning In Australia and I wonder how many ppl in the GGB gang might be from Aus would be wonderful to connect with like minded people who share the same beliefs - I live in a small country town and finding people of faith to connect with isn’t the easiest here.
