Always looking a for handy tools that make the job easier……and less messy! Do you ever put some fresh oil in the filter before installing?
If the filter is sideways like the motorcycle or a car no, I just lube the rubber ring gasket on the filter. My 2019 Miata's filter screws up so I can put oil in it.

Sure I'll ask here. Yeah I installed Innovv K3 followed your video even made front mount like you on my 17 Ultra. Now when camera is connected with bike on I can't use any phone apps music Google directions etc. Will dvr record and save without Innovv app on while bike is running? Or do I need to set my phone up as a Hotspot to share internet with dvr?
@@ronwatts268 Hi Ron, the only time you want your phone connected to the K3 is when you want to either download video or pictures. When connected with the K3 you will not have internet. The DVR will record video and pictures when your phone is not connected. You can even take the SD card out of the DVR and connect it to your computer if you wish. Downloading from the DVR to your phone is very slow. If by mistake, you have allowed your phone to automatically connect to the K3 when you start your bike you want to go into your settings and make sure you don't. I hope this clears it up. YES!!! Cleared everything thing up perfectly thanks so much. I watched the install so many times before I installed mine I knew what to do. I mounted the DC power and dvr on top of fuse box. Easier access to dvr/SD card than having to take rider backrest and seat off. Just had to drill some holes on top of box under frame to route wires thru. Thanks again for the help. BTW I'm in Michigan and NOT a UofM fan can't stand Harbaugh lol. Oh yeah these are some neat tools in this video
