Thank you Sir!!! You walked me all the way through my Engine and Primary oil changes! People were questioning me because I’m a female... their feeling stupid now because I did it perfectly thanks to you💕💕💕
Thats awesome! ...now start charging them to change theirs! Glad to help!
Good morning my friend I have a 2020 Road king and after watching your video about 10 times I decided to do it myself. I also changed the air filter. Thank you for your videos. I’m going to start saving money instead of taking
really glad to help to save you some money! Once you do it a few times it gets way easier.
Thanks for the great video I just bought a 22 low rider S and even though I have a pretty good idea on the steps to change the oils you had a couple great suggestions I will be trying when I do the next change
I loved the torque wrench advice. I’m glad I’m not the only one that drives nuts!
Sorry for the late reply, I just got back from Sturgis...but yes...drives me insane
Man you are what I was looking for! Very thorough and I wasn’t confused by anything which by the way doesn’t take much for me! Thank you!
Thats awesome John! Glad the video helped you and hopefully saves you some money!
Thanks for the video. Doing my first 1000 mile change next week. Just ordered the stuff I need and now know how by watching your video. Also subscribed to your channel. Good stuff.
You were spot on with the pipe dope. All 3 plugs had a ton of that tape on them. Followed your vid step by step very helpful!
By far the best video I’ve seen on this. Thank you!
thank you for checking it out and glad to help!
Great video ! Everything you need to know to do the 3 whole oil change ! This is the video you need to watch ! Thnx !
Sorry for the late reply, I just got back from Sturgis..thank you for checking it out!
Thank you for the video. I greatly appreciate the transmission explanation relating to dry and wet fill. I had no clue what that meant when I read it in the manual. Be and ride safe.
Glad it helped PD!! Be safe!
I truly enjoy your video's Steve. I know, and do, my own fluid changes but, I still watched the whole video just to make sure I'm not missing something. You explain everything so detailed and it's enjoyable to watch all your how to video's. Thank you for helping us all out on things we can all save money on.
What ^^^said.
Thank you for checking it out Mark..much appreciated man.
Thank you ricky!
Coming from a metric over to a '19 Street Glide, and this video is exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Youre very welcome Doug...glad the video helped!
Thank you for an excellent fluid change video. Glad I found your's.
youre very welcome and grateful to have been a help.
Absolutely great explanation in your video. I recently purchased a '17 Street Glide and I'm looking forward to saving some bucks!
Thank you Gary! Glad the video helped...always nice to not throw away money to the dealership for things you can do at home pretty easily.
I just found and subscribed to your channel. Great easy to understand videos. I really appreciate the links to get a couple of things I needed as well..
You’re Awesome!! Definitely subscribed. Thank you. I’m a new Harley owner and I look forward to watching your vid. Thanks again!
thank you kevin!
I used your video to guide me through the entire process. I have a 21 Road Glide Limited 114. My trans took the entire quart but I did let it sit and drain for an hr or so while I took a break. By the way Harley put copper antiseize on the derby cover bolts. Thanks for the info.
Thank you for sharing information about the warranty not being voided because Harley does an incredible job at making sure that if you do your own oil changes that this would be the case.
yes sir and they just got sued for that and lost...a new revised warranty standard was just released that included this along with only being able to use HD parts on your HD.
Wow what a great job you do. Thanks for all your help.. so thorough and professional.
thank you neil...glad to help!
Hi Steve I’m a new rider I enjoy watching the videos and how detail they are the way you explain everything in this video I was planning on taking my bike to get service but watching this gave me the confidence to do it myself thanks
Hey Ben!! First thanks for checking it out and really glad to hear it helped! And if you ever have any questions I'm usually on here once a day checking comments. Always glad to help! thanks again and be safe!
Excellent video really enjoyed your sense of humor. I’ve been riding motorcycle since 1972, have always done my own oil changes for the most part. I ride a 2000 road king and the first thing I do when I buy a bike is get a service manual if I can find one. The service manual has 5000 miles all three holes so that’s what I do.
best 3 hole oil change video I've seen. Very thorough...
grateful to have helped! thanks for checking us out.
this is the most thorough 3 hole fluid change on a M8 on CZcams. hats off to you sir, I was able to do all the work myself instead of paying stupid HD prices.
Sorry for the late reply, I just got back from Sturgis...really glad the video helped...and thank you for checking it out!
Just picked myself up a 2017 CVO Ultra with the Milwaukee 8. Traded my old reliable 05 Twin Cam, man I hope I made the right decision!! Appreciate your time and knowledge Brother, good wrenchin!
Thank you Steve , thanks for all the great videos .
Youre very welcome!
Great video. Im getting ready to do my oil change on my new bike will definitely be saving this video!
Thanks for checking it out Will...glad to help!
Another great video. Thanks! God Bless!!✌️😎👍
Thank you Ken!
I will be doing this for the first time myself this weekend and must say your video has exactly all the information I needed. I appreciate your inclusion of torque recommendations for every bolt, and the precise fluid amounts (pre check). Excellent video! I will be checking for you on any future DIY projects I may have.
Glad to help Jason...we have videos on most maintenance that you can do at home...thanks for checking it out!
excellent ,thorough video! Very great explanation all the way through.
Glad to help and thank you for checking it out!
Thanks for the video. I play it every time I do my oil change. Either my bike or buddies. Go by the numbers so I don’t forget anything.
Yes sir glad to help!
Agreed about that damn filter!! Makes you wonder what Harley and some shops use to tighten that damn thing! Thanks for the right to the point detailed maintenance video! Without the rap in the background! Liked and subscribed
Thank you Jason! Much appreciated sir.
first time doing own oil change, exactly the perfect video I was looking for. realized the 5 quart kit I bought doesn't give me enough oil to do transmission also. will buy another quart and do that now. awesome video!
yeah alot of kits will say "twin cam" or "M8" but are short on fluids...glad the video helped!
Steve very well put presentation. I always enjoy watching your video’s👍🏾 Keep your knees in the breeze.😎
Thank you Daryl!
Thanks Steve you always put out awesome helpful video’s 👍
Sorry for the late reply, just got back from Sturgis, But thank you for checking it out!

You're very welcome Anthony! Thank you for checking it out...always glad to help!
Used this for my oil change today, worked like champ thank you
Very informative & detailed instructions. Great job! I see why you have over 60k subs! I watched the whole video and gave you a like.
Thank you Jeanne! Its taken awhile and a lot of work to get there but I love doing it!
Nice video on the M8 3 hole oil change. I fid this on my old 88 and this is just a modern version of that.
Thank you robert and yes..not too much has changed...bolt location and levels of course but still pretty simple to do at home.
I recently decided to DIY tune up on my 2018 RGS, this video was so helpful and I really appreciate all the tips and tricks. I'm also using the Syn 3. Only gripe is no spark plug instructions, let me know if yall have a DIY video on that. Great instructional DIY!!! you guys rock!
I appreciate ya'll big time! Great video and explanation 🇺🇸🇺🇸
thank you Mike, glad to help!
Best how to on the big three, Thank you!
Thank you Bill!
Thank you very much for this video. It really helped 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Thank you for checking it out! Glad to help!
I love the towel disclaimer!
Steve thanks for another great video.
Thank you John!!
Very informative. Great content.
Thank you
UK rider here...great videos, simple with no waffle and BS. Nice 👍
Thank you for checking it out Mike!
Thank you sir. I paid for a 3 hole M8 change video two years ago from someone else, and I have to say your’s is much more to the point and easier to follow. Plus includes jokes (wife towels, 14 curse words). You’re the best. Thank you for sharing this. Paying it forward. Thanks again sir.
Yes sir thats one thing we wont ever do here at SIK is charge for videos...bikers helping bikers...not charging bikers! Im glad the video helped and if you have any questions please feel free to shoot! Thanks for checking it out!
This was a great step by step video. A 3 hole change in Canada is North of $500 at the dealer, and I’ll never have to pay for that one again. I found Amazon was a great source for “an oil change in a box”, so $200 and a little video time in the shop was a much smaller pill to swallow. Thanks for all you do!!
I'm a new harley rider. I just got my '22 street glide.
Your videos have lots of good information. Thank you
Thank you for checking them out Nicolas! Ever have any questions just drop us a comment and we will try to help the best we can!
As ALWAYS THE BEST INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS ON YOU TUBE!!! If you want to learn the correct way to do things you will learn it right here. Total professional. Thank you Sir for another fantastic video.

if you can do the cam install the oil change will be a breeze. thanks for checking it out man..happy holidays!
Thanks this was perfectly done and very helpful.
Glad the video helped! Thanks for checking it out..much appreciated.be safe.
I only have hot on jiffy stand on my dipstick. Thank you for the detailed video. Really appreciate it

Thank you so much Aaron!
I enjoy your tutoring videos. Thank you
Happy to hear that!
Another great video. I never would of thought about what would happen if you drained the primary then couldn’t get the derby cover off. Thanks again for all of the great content.
Thank you Paul....learned that lesson the hard way...twice..im alittle slow sometimes lol
Happened to me once. Couldn’t for the life of me get that one torque screw off. Had to have it towed to the stealership.
Fantastic vid, thanks for all the info :)
Youre very welcome.
You jus saved me tons of money cuz Harley charges $670 for 3 hole oil change so definitely will be saving my self big money thanks to you very on detailed too 💪
Appreciate your help. You have enabled me to do this myself. Consider yourself an enabler. 😜
😂 Ill take that! Glad the video helped!!

just bought a 2022 street bob 114. i will be coming back to this many times.
nice! Save some serious money while also learning your machine!
Greetings from Germany! I love his voice. It is like your father is telling you how to do it right.
greetings Alexander! Thank you for checking out the videos and the kind comment! Much appreciated.
Tip for the oil filter slipping. Mine did the same thing, I had some skateboard tape ruff on one side and peel adhesive on the other side. I cut strips of it stuck it to the inside of the oil filter wrench and used it. The ruff side will grip the filter and you'll be able to get it off without it slipping.
Im going to have to get some...ive had 3 this month that HD did the last change on and damn..all been to tight...makes a mess for sure.
Great video brotha.
Thank you Josh!
Great job Steve
Thank you!
All fluid levels are spot on. Excellent instructions, easy to follow. Saved me a good chunk of dough.
One remark: if you use a vented dip stick that happens to move with you from bike to bike, make sure the measurements are taken with the original OEM dipstick or you screw up the oil change (ask me how I know 😂). I thought I overfilled until I realized that the dipstick is with me since my 96ci days.
Thank you for checking it out and the comment and yeah I probably would have done the same thing and then freaked out lol oh well lesson learned and thank you for sharing that
Awesome thanks for the info! Liked and subscribed
Youre very welcome and thank you for the sub! Much appreciated!
@@sikbaggers no problem mate, I’m just about to start riding (end of September) my first HD. A 23 low rider s and I am planning to do my own mid service oil changes for this video is great, easy to follow to and no doubt I’ll watch it a few times between now and then. Thanks from Tasmania👍
Excellent guide and review sir.
Thank you.
Sorry I'm late responding but thank you! Much appreciated !
Funel ordered 🙋♂️ lol. Appreciate it Steven. I don't know if I just haven't ever paid any attention but never seen a funel like that with the caps, that's pretty cool an easy to keep clean. 👍
Nice...yeah I lve that funnel..its a little small on one end so it seeps slow but man it saves a mess in the cabinet
Damn good video sir!!! Very detailed!!! Gonna share this one!!
Thank you very much glad the video helped!
I just add enough oil in filter to roll and wet media and not spill when installing filter, thanks for sharing this video and process to taking care of and getting to enjoy and know the M8 Touring series. Ride on
Thank you for checking it out and the comment! Much appreciated!
Excellent my friend. Thank you.
thank you sir! Glad to help!
Im a bit nervous to change my oil on my road glide 114...but I need to learn...thanks for this video definitely learning
Hey man....completely understandable...I do have a oil change video on the 14 -16 103 also...its basically exactly the same though...but let me know if you have any questions...this is definitely something anyone can do at home.
Thank u for a great video. It help me a lot
Youre very welcome! Glad it helped!
I want to thank you for the video. I just paid $300 for a 3 hole drop. I will do my oil changes myself since watching your video. Thanks again
You're very welcome! I'm thrilled to hear that the video was helpful to you! Learning how to do your own oil changes can be a great way to save money and take more control over the maintenance of your bike. By doing the oil changes yourself, you not only save on labor costs but also gain a better understanding of your bike's needs. It's a valuable skill that can potentially extend the lifespan of your engine.
Thanks man appreciate it!
Youre very welcome glad it helped...be safe!
Loved the 3 hole video. Very detailed and easy to follow. Do you have any vids on a coolant change. I have a 2019 Ultra Limited Low
Glad to help on the oil change man...im sorry but right now I dont...Im working on getting one in here just for that though
Great video, thanks. I'm about to do my own oil changes on my 2018 Harley davidson Breakout due to Harley charging an arm and a leg.

Thank you!
First time watching Steve, What’s up man
thank you dude!
Youre very welcome!
You explain everything in so much detail and it's enjoyable to watch all your how-to videos. Well, I did I bought a Road King for Christmas and traded in my Dyna. My question to you is I bought the 5 oil changes when I purchased it. My thinking is, it's under warranty so they can look the bike over and fix things as I ride it, I always after the warranty is over start doing everything myself. I always use syn 3 in all 3 holes, Harley dealer told me they stopped doing that and put syn gear oil in 2 holes, I hit 1200 miles and the first service is after the holidays should I tell them my way, or their way. Because I will have to do it that way? Your thought on the syn oil versus syn gear oil in 2 holes? Thank you, Merry Christmas!!!!
Great video! I really appreciate it! Toward the end you mentioned that the primary and transmission have longer change intervals. I was under the impression I had to do a full 3-hole at each 5000 service interval. I'm at a 5000 interval now. If all 3 were done the last time at the dealer, can I just do the engine oil and call it good? BTW - sign me up for an ugga dugga shirt!
Great video, thank you
thank you Richard!
I love the one uga duga is all you need!
