The algorithm has blessed me, hopefully it’ll bless you all too with this rad clip.
Damn!!!!!
I was blessed with this
it did indeed
@Primusux
That looks steep even on the GoPro. Snow must have been perfect for a pull like that!
Not going to lie, when the guy in front turned down I thought there was no way and I had been click baited. Definitely earned my like and sub that was insane!
Damn, that was an insanely long pull!
The 450 had some clean valves after that run😁
Clean and out of adjustment valves 😂😂😂😂
Altitude is a bitch!
Watching that still gives me butterflies getting close to the top not knowing what's on the other side excellent ride. LETTE'R BUCK !!👍
I got that feeling as well, I was terrified of what edge or overhang could possible be waiting.
Just imagine. You fly to Nepal, climb to 12k feet. Acclimate for 2 weeks. Climb to base camp of Everest. Wait for a window in the weather. Make your ascent. Almost die. Multiple times. Get to the summit. It's surreal. Then some dude blasts up the ridgeline to your feet on a KTM thumper. Screams "HOLY FUCKBALLS"
Underrated channel and video! Who agrees?
this could be an add for KTM dirt bikes. that 450 pulled the elevation and loading like a champ.
Ya I was totally amazed it didn't self destruct half way , just what you'd expect from a KTM!
@machinehead6892 lol there's a reason why ktm is so popular and I don't think it's because they're known for self destructing
You keep telling yourself that, why do so many owners complain about the build quality then??@@fleekwoodmatt4316
300 hours of this type of riding on this snow bike and still going strong!
@@TheWildAlaskan that's awesome. snow bikes in deep powder look too slow to interest an old avid high-powered snowmobile hillclimber, but your vids have shown us what a snow bike can do on soft-topped spring hardpack.
i'm completely sold on this being better than a sled with how you handled the peak. the bike can carve and cut back harder than a sled in this condition, and when it falls over it does not as easily roll down the hill like a log. now i really want a snow bike.
was that first or second gear at the peak?
I watched this last year and it still blows my mind! Keep up the great work bud!
How does this guy not have more views and subscribers his timbersled videos are amazing
I was thinking the exact same thing!
It’s simple… algorithms. If he was a semi-decent looking girl in a bikini sitting in a snow drift giggling and saying, “my butt is cold” it would have 7 million views and be on your homepage… even after repeated refreshes 🤷🏼♂️
It’s also the most repetitive comment on CZcams
I'm guessing the ride down was as epic......wheeeeeeeeee
For sure!!
Where is the footage of the decent? And how much fuel did that take? I was sure the engine would stop any time. Rad!@@TheWildAlaskan
@@MrPipp007 see the description for a link to the decent. I'd guess a couple cups of gas maybe, I get about 15 mpg cruising. Surely a lot less doing this type of riding though.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing, something I could never see without your video.
That motor is WORKIN!!
That was an amazing ride that you took us on. You definitely are a great talent.
I was rooting for you as you started struggling towards the top!
Wow my heart was racing too, then to summit a three trail, wow❤😮😅
That header pipe must have been glowing cherry red. Amazed these have the power to get up there at that altitude. Probably only making 50% hp at that altitude. My palms started sweating near the top. Beautiful views from up there. 👍
The summit is just over 3k feet, so it wouldnt be as bogged down as it would be in the Rockies. It looks much higher than it is since the tree line in AK is about 2000'. No matter how you slice it though, this is a really impressive climb! Both rider and kit killed it.
Incredible climb with majestic scenery - had me on pins and needles just watching it!
Crazy climb! Congratulations!
My stomach was turning holy smokes when you got to the top😁
The video he uploads after this shows him going down; another awesome vid!
Holy Sh*t!!!, Epic!!! Fantastic job of angling over to keep it on the power band!!! I thought, whatever you do do not fall over 'cause you won't stop till you get to the bottom, and what of avalanche? That would definitely have ruined your day, or the rest of your existence on Mother Earth. Just friggen' epic my friend. Can't be afraid of heights to make this attempt. That was so awesome. Sickest footage I've seen in a long time.
That was awesome man, great job. I’m sure that felt so sweet as soon as you arrived at the top. Nice rush aye!
Awesomeness to the max.
Epic pull man.
Great job. Awesome view. Thanks for that video
OMG that had my heart going. What a video!
Shit gets hairy near the top. What looks like a neverending playground reveals it's terrifying nature when you get to that steepness. Incredible riding and footage. Stay safe out there.
DAYYYYUMM! That was Amazing!
Wow good climb!! Great view!
Excellent ride! Incredible reward!
That's bad ass your right, nobody else has this on youtube for sure. Hell of a climb man
Thanks for the thrill ride. That was great.
Those bikes are sooo cool. Good Run Mannnn!!!
Absolutely nuts. Been down stuff like that on skis in Mammoth but can't imagine riding a motorcycle on skis up it. Wow!
Wowzers! What an incredible machine!
WOW,, talk about top of the world.. amazing view..
Wow i was with ya all the way man lol what a view !! Well done 👍
That was frickin’ AWESOME!!!
Super cool! you know its steep when you have hero snow and you have to switch back. I have had to do loops before just to gain momentum to climb higher
Bro... that was nutty. If that thing slid, bye bye. Some serious balls climbing that. I don't mind doing some crazy stuff but damn... No way to know if it would slide. Glad you were safe. That looked damn near vertical in some spots!
That slide definitely goes a long ways down! Had real good stability at the time time though, a points north (heliski operation) snowboarder went down it before us, we went down it then I couldn't resist trying to go back up with how much traction there was that day and how much snow we had gotten up high that year! tried it last year with the sled guys but highest anyone could get was about 3/4 of the way.
Rushed me out just watching this !!!
That was an awesome climb! I was puckering just watching it 😂 👍
Nice job man ! That was wild
Faaarrrrk. The top just seemed to keep getting further away. What an effot. Hats off.
The ride was awesome, boy but when you got to the top I was super scared that you were going to keep going that's huge Mountain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was waiting for an avalanche to start the whole ride up!!!😳😳😳
Amazing! Let's see the descent now..
insane!!! Well done crazy animal!
Rad clip. Nice run. This is just the beginning. Be avi prepared.
the conditions need to be perfect .. awesome video
Nice climb. Some hard snow with tons of traction. It’s funny how slow the climbs are on bikes compared to sleds.
Well done
I can hear what sounds like a rotational harmonic vibration when the revs are constant about 2/3's up. Tight chain link, damaged track, something weird in the drivetrain.
Good ear, the chain case chain was replaced for the next ride
That was absolutely insane. Down to an inch. Well done brother.
I was waiting for that cornice to break off and this turns into another run-from-the-avalanche video!
Heney in Cordova? Guys have been going up that for years, pretty neat to see a Timbersled do it. I miss shredding the meadows on hardpack days when the sun makes it nice and firm on top. Heading up by Earl's old place on Whitshed. Brings back memories. Cool video, bro!
this isn't highmark shoulder this is the summit
Oh. Right on!
Most times whe something is posted that's rad, out of control, epic or whatever dumb way it gets described it is a big let down but this was truly pretty cool. Nice job man!
Thanks!
Fine work.
I grew up hillclimbing in dirt at Carnegie in Livermore ca,. And let me tell you that this shit looks stupidly steep!😮 i wanna try now!
Inside I was rooting for you, and every time the engine RPM dropped a bit, so did my heart. Not a great place or time to have to down shift! And what a view!
WOW! what a ride! 😃👍
Dude that made me feel sick when you got on top great Video
Dude that was insane watching from down in the drainage below
were you one of the para-skiers?
Awesome brother
We’re a different breed aren’t we?😂❤ nice pull!!!
Looks like an unbelievable day up there.
!00% BADASS!!!! You’re a damned legend!
WHAT A VIEW!!!!!! Cudos to you, dude.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👊👊🤙🤙✌️✌️
AMAZING!!!
That’s so awesome!
Great lines dude 💪😎
This video should have more views. The algorithm is pushing it out because I would never search for this, but I enjoyed the video! Yay
Incredible 😮
That view at the top is so sick! Hopefully going down wasnt too sketch! lol
Holy shit, that's sick!
Pretty tought to beat CDV on a sunny day! Gorgeous.
That was badasss!
Damm I was nervous watching it! 😂👍🏻
He's got an even better climbing track now!
That is the definition of INSANE! Amazing job of keeping the bike in power, I thought you were going to lose it for a second. The traction is next level.
I have about 1/2 million street miles on liter+ sport bikes not to mention 40 years of off-road experience. I've seen these things on CZcams but failed to respect what they can do with a pro rider on one...UNTIL NOW!
I might just sh_tcan my entire bucket list for a clean sheet that says "Timbersled".
I hardly ride dirt anymore after my first season of snow biking! It ruined it for me haha
@@TheWildAlaskanLiving in Phoenix Arizona we don't get much of that white stuff that oozes out of the ground like you do, but that ride clearly showed the near vertical part of that climb, and you can't pull that off in sand dirt or any other medium I can think of.
I know it's a year old video but I was so blown away by it I recommended it in the comments of SXSBlog's latest video. Maybe it will get some more views.
oh thanks!@@kevinsellsit5584
Dang dude that was badass. I'd love to do that.
Wow that’s unreal buddy 👌👌
I lost my stomach just watching that!!! freaking intense!
AWESOME !!!
Incredible!!! Wow
That earned an instant sub
Thanks for the vertigo. That looks like earnest avalanche hunting to me.
Nicely done
That climb was sexy man. Good job
Absolutely nuts.
That was incredible
Excellent 👌 🔝💯
That must have been the absolute perfect snow pack. Not even turbos either lol
Holy crap. I've ridden on rented Timbersleds in the Vail area. The elevation and drag is a heavy load on them, it is amazing the Timbersled pulled that. Way to go! That is serious commitment. You also succeeded in giving me virtual anxiety 😂
A good two stroke powder sled would probably rip up that with skis aloft. My group with the Timbersleds (also KTM 450s like the one here) rented a Polaris 800, and the amount of sheer power the sled has is just stupid. I am a little surprised those sleds are rented to the general public because they are fast AF and serious as a heart attack.
The 850 turbos are even better 😊
That was sick 🎉
Mind officially blown!! 🤯 Nice work man!! 💪🏻
Very cool!
Man that 450 was running. Great job..
Insane!! ❤
SICK!!! Need a cruise control 😉
Gnarly dude ,you're the man you're living the dream, Dream,,
Nice ride.... Epic
Good thing you had your camera running to.prove the nea... sayers,... wrong
Soquestion is the only issues I can see is making sure the jetting is correct and the need to prep, for or in case of or to avoid an avalanche..and you are right throttle control is essential for most riders would panic and over Rev and not go lateral to even the load, otherwise stay straight over Rev/load and bury it.
Insane!
