I am in Wyoming right now playing in the mountains with some buddies. Watching your videos every morning when we are getting ready makes it so much better. Thank you for the great and uplifting content.
That is awesome!
Where you at? The bighorns don't have much
@WillisKeesel medicine bow area. Pretty good riding, and we just got some decent snow.
Always love when you throw in a timestamp, always means someone is on the struggle bus and the commentary will be gold🤣🤣
Hahaha yea I don’t mean to be mean but it’s usually pretty funny for all of us
Hilarious you caught Justin and Cody getting steam rolled by the purple princess. Watching that Snowbike climb the hill was like watching a sailboat sail into a head wind. Great Video Matt
I was stoked I caught that 😂
@@MuskokaFreerider their responses made it even funnier.
Yep, that Snobike sounds like 100 people simultaneously and continuously passing gas as they jog to their destination!! 😂(and I would trade places with him in a heartbeat)
Hannah Montana on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
Absolutely hilarious video with the mocking of the snowbike🤣
But not just from my self, but many more. A little bit too short video today. I have absolutely LOVED the 25-35minute videos.
Haha all in good fun. Not every video can be that long but glad you enjoy!
I'm getting the impression that screen isnt really worth buying. Looks slick but thats about it. Killer video man you make it look easy.
It’s useless haha good to see rpm, if it wasn’t covered in snow 99% of the time
@@MuskokaFreerider perfect. My summit sp base model screen will do then lol
Yeah, I'm glad I ended up without it on my sled. The sled I tried none of the fancy features worked well at all, and it's a snow magnet. It's definitely just another thing for me to break while I figure out WTF I'm doing on a sled again.
The "I rode an 800, 15 years ago" to Turbo R has been an adventure.
His daddy buys his life and he bullies people with his truck cause he's little and weak. He's a cowardly boy, not a man.
The edits of him going back and forth trying to cut his way up........ but he literally never moved up. I couldn't stop laughing. LOL
Matt’s editing skills are getting real good 😂
Boy ... the carnage this year...you and Jason are a blast to watch...that guy on the bike needs a turbo and a bigger track...lol...another great freerider vid...absolutely love it!!!!
Stay safe and keep ski side down...
From my still slightly frozen ice fishing igloo on the mountain D.
P.S...MORE TEAM JERRY VIDS PLEASE...HE MAKES US OLD GUYS FEEL YOUNG AGAIN ...LOL...
So many good times! Glad you’re enjoying!
These sleds make it look so easy these days. Back in the day you knew a real snowmobile'r by his snow suit...If it had a huge dark spot at the belly, you smelled like a fuel spill & never got near fire in it, that guy was a true sled guy. Why it that you ask? Because the carburetor butterfly was right in front of you & you'd tune the carb while driving & it would shoot fuel all over your belly. Those were the days!!
Love your channel, this is the 3rd yr I've watched.
that guy on the snowbike RIPS!!! That's some gnarly climbs for a 55hp bike.... impressive to keep up & go with 180hp sleds! Great Vid!
don't think he can keep up without them waiting on him
Props to the Snow bike, not easy hanging with those sleds all day.
Definitely hard to hang with turbo sleds on the bike, I dont think ill ever switch back tho I love my snowbike!
We give him a hard time but he does good
You guys are crazy! Awesome machines, great scenery, seemless editing all equal an amazing video! Thanks!
Loved watching the snow bike go back and fourth😂trying to make it up
Great vid as usual, Tell bud on the bike to stay out of first gear, he needs track speed. 2nd gear is your friend on a bike. He can also flip the gears in his chain case for more umph in 2nd. Mike
Hehe, "I draw the line at leave him out here to die." Sounds like a great time on the mountain :) I loved the edit of him going left then right about 5 times.
Maria Aragon VS Monique
WHO ALL THINKS MATT SHOULD GET,BUILD A SNOWBIKE FOR THE 23/24 SEASON! I think that would be a awesome change of pace for the season lol
Watching that snow bike going back and forth had me crying. Too funny. 😂😂😂
So much fun every day, thank you!
Man, I haven’t watched sledding videos for years! I’m an old turd mountain rider from back in the late 70’s and 80’s. A BIG track was a 126 with plastic paddles! Last sled I had was a 700 Dragon. Man, your sleds and skills are WAY beyond us back in the day. So enjoying seeing the young guns. Thanks so much! Good footage!
Sleds and talent have come miles!
The sound of them boosts coming up the drainage is wild! Sick videos !
“What happened? Did you kick us.” 🤣🤣🤣
That snow bike committed so hard everywhere.
Sweet rides, the snowmobiles sound amazing.
Can we just appreciate the ninja like skill when the sled rolled. My man spun around and got from under the sled while perfectly grabbing the other ski tip
We were doing the opposite here in Alaska. Snowbike was going and sleds were getting stuck hahaha
That snow bike is really impressive to be fair. Goes way more places than i would have guessed kudos to the rider. That being said, it sounds like SH** lol. Love the vid, wished it was longer!! Jason Is the man also!!
Yah, boys! Looks like a fun area to ride.
Love watching your videos, your an awesome rider bud, wish I could do half the riding that you do, enjoy the way you get Jerry going.😂😂😂
Father son things right haha.
@@MuskokaFreerider yes for sure all good fun.
what a way to home from work to a great video thanks for the killer content !
Wow so amazing where you guys are able to go on those things. Awsome video bud.
Definitely some shity snow! I remember back in the day you would be very careful where you did drop in at or you'd have seven or eight down there doing what the snow bike did....stuck! Had a place in the Bitterroot called the six pack!
Kinda 2 different games. Both super fun, but most of us need to pick one. Nice video guys! Love the filming style Run & Gun, baby!
Loving the variety!! Let's goooooooo
I remember those days on my snowbike, 129 camso and a 2022 129 Yeti, steeep hills like that were a struggle. Now I'm on a sled and won't look back haha.
Man I could watch your videos forever! Lol😅
The snow bike is the rotary phone of snowmobiling.
another great video Matt. Keep it up.
That was awesome ! 😂
Waiting for you guys to show all the upsides to snowbikes instead of all the downsides? Great content! Loving it.
they are lighter thats it
Ya and a snow bike can side hill much steeper hills that a snowmobile can
@@nubbymcscrubb3922 1) they ride like a dirt bike. There is always that. 2) virtually no stucks. Easy to get out from being stuck 3) they use way less gas 4) the noise factor is bias. The 2 stroker sound grates more for me 5) No need for sled decks or enclosed trailers
There's more, but I'll leave it at that.
Had the snowbiker in the video known to switchback downhill he would've made it up first try.
For sure sleds have their upsides too. I have both. I love my skidoo as well.
This whole thing reminds me of the tired skiing vs snowboarding theme from decades ago. Any day in the mountain is great regardless of what you're riding.
Freeriders Films does a great job. Keep giving the snowbikes video time!
@@timber-rider seems like the main thing is it’s more fun to ride the bikes with other bikers. The sleds have so much more fuel range, are way faster, and just more fun on different types of terrain than what you’d probably choose to ride the bike on. To be fair, this seems like exactly the kind of terrain I’d probably rather have a bike on. I haven’t tried one, but I certainly wouldn’t be able to manage all this tight stuff on a sled.
You all should take up a collection to buy that poor snowbiker a turbo!
Yah! I got something good to watch while I'm down with covid!
I’d love to ride with you boys some time to show what a properly setup snowbike will do, and an experienced rider on it. Only thing I won’t be doing is the crazy amount chute climbs. It’s all about gearing and clutch control and knowing when to turn out and downturn. Great video!
Honestly feel free to join. In my opinion Justin can rip the bike. Would like to see how good a bike can be
@@MuskokaFreerider getting the rest of the guys to get passports and we’ll make a trip up there sadly might be next year before I can convince a trip
This is basically a straight up chute climb through the trees. N/A 850’s won’t even go near it. I’d love to sign up for one of your clinics though 👊🏻✊🏻👊🏻✊🏻👊🏻✊🏻
@@justindacey I’m always willing to meet up and give tips. Before you power out turn down first. Run side hills to build momentum then cut uphill. Also you may have the bike geared wrong as it sounds like it wraps out instantly and pings off redline all the time while riding. Figure out how to down hill turn and rebuild momentum. Non of this should be that wrapped out unless you were just running the old 120 but you have a riot 3 it has plenty of track.
Sleds>Snowbike. All the struggles lol Great vid as always
Clearly depend on snow and terrain. Where a bike shine the sleds are getting a hard time, and vice versa. 2 different kind of ride, each have pros and cons
😂 Glad I’m not the only one. I rode right into a creek bed last weekend cause visibility sucked. Took us 2 hours to get my sled out of there.
Haha been there. I hate meadows when it’s like that
Snow bikes seem fun if u had a few in the group not so much when your the only one. The guy looks capable on the bike though! weird how snow conditions can change that quick
They are at their best when it’s a group of bikes, I have both sled and snowbike and where one thrives the other suffers.
That scenario of a real long steep/deep climb is where they’ll fall short of a sled, but put it in some super dense trees on a hillside especially low elevation it’s a whole new ballgame
Awesome stuff b'ys!!
Another great vid! We sure do appreciate all the time you put in to these! If you could send some snow to the U.P., team AARP would appreciate it!
🤟🤟 I’ll try!
So funny when they fall down the hill 😂
Loving the snow bikes glory lol
Love the green and black sled!!!
Dude at 9:20 where you showed him going left right left right left right HAD ME DYING LMAOOOOO
Hahahahah I thought I was pretty funny
I keep hoping that someday I'm going to watch a video of riders on a mountain and it will convince me to try it. But that day just might never happen. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE watching them. But I just can't for the life of me see where constantly being stuck is even remotely fun to do. You are all athletes that do this and I'm amazing how you do it. Good on you. But boy is it ever not for this old guy.
Get a CR500 and install the track and ski from that Crf onto in. 💯🔥😎👍🏼
Here's one thing that's never brought up, my sled buddies at the end of the day look and feel like they ran a marathon while I'm fresh as can be!
OMG 1:41 was the funniest thing ive seen all day 😂😂😂
Tik tok comments on your race vid are hilarious! Have a great day
Haha so many triggered people
Best part was Clay saying that was my plan
just curious , if all bikes basically had to go to 4 strokes for the environment , when do the sleds do the same ? any idea . :)
Time for some backcountry booters!
Where did this ride take place?! I didn't think there were any 'mountains' in Muskoka ?!?!?
Is there anywhere that you talk about your gear set up? Like cameras, mics, etc.
That snowbike needs more power XD
that truck with the sled on the roof was parked outside my place lol. i thought i was wicked so i took a picture. Pemberton BC
You don’t run the rear super clamps? Any reason I got a new marlon deck and never installed yet. On my limitless always just did what your doing
Clamps can be a pain on the 7’ deck. They work good on the 8’ though
Another one! 👍
idea for a 3rd sled:
a 2nd or 3rd gen summit modded to the max. would be cool to see how they would compare to the 5th gens
I just rode a snow bike for the first time a couple weeks ago. While I thought it was amazing how nimble it is through heavy woods, I was really disappointed with the lack of power. I've been riding dirt bikes for over 30 years, and the power loss with the track kit is unreal. If you could up the track speed, you could really go anywhere.
just put a track kit on a ktm 690 enduro
Tara Stiles and Terry Roy
Maybe it’s because I’m a lifelong dirtbike rider/racer… but to me, I’ll stick to the Timbersled and ride the appropriate terrain. Riding a snowmobile is like riding a quad in my book. Fun to ride but you don’t want anybody to see you. 😂😂
Love the snowbike
OK lets see what Jerry and the Destroyer gets up to today, Justin gets lucky he did not take a tunnel to the head, and Matt is busting his friends beans first thing in the video despite his new found love of smashing his his sled with trees, which is normally Jasons job! Lets go boys!
So many laughs with the boys!
How's the packout working out? Thinking about doing something similar for my SKS
Works well, I’d definitely do it for the sxs
Somebody give that bike 40 more hp....!!!!
I think multi-cylinder snowbike conversions will soon become the big mountain norm, maybe 600cc 4s with suspension upgrades.
Why do you say this? I'm looking at getting a dirt bike to explore mine roads, drive on the highway and then snow bike in the winter. I was thinking about the Husqvarna FE350 but now I'm wondering about the FE501
Big boy carnage lol
Boy was I confused at first, saw Muskoka and heard team Sudbury, and was thinking where the hell are they riding in Ontario? :)
Please test ride a sidewinder
When you have to wait for that one guy that has to bring someting else...
What I wanted to see! Snowbikes have some way to go yet :)
Tbh i ride a snowbike and they are amazing. Just tough to hang with turbo sleds, you ride different on a bike forsure.
That snow bike needs a big bore and some 110 octane!! If he was able to pull a gear higher he would probably be able to keep up a lot better! Great video man!!
Would you ever buy another 10 inch screen if you had the choice?
Probably should acknowledge Ken block!!
Matt have you tried a swowbike?
"okey well burn the video camera and justin the sled nobody will ever know"
"Now we gotta kill him!?" 🤣🤣🤣
Let's see what's in store for today
looks like that snow bike fella needs that Hyabussa snow bike that guy build on another channel.
Were is the 9r!!!
Damn I'd make it up that on my bike. Not straight up it but zig zag and pivot turn.
I don’t think you realize how steep it was lol
@@MuskokaFreerider I've been up and down some dumb shit. It looks pretty damn steep.
Hey mat, some stickers were fun, now they are placing Turcotte stickers and like you complained at first, he is the one that should decide when because they are placing them Kinda in his name at this point.
And both are appropriate in that both of you are difficult to stick even in ridiculous conditions
I say bang on, now that I think of it the worst that will result will be free rider and Turcotte
stickers melting out in the snow for hikers to find. (unamused) If you make sure they stick I say stick it to em. If not...
don't litter
Is the snowbike worth it?
snowbike needs more track and a sled motor
I had a sandwich this morning from there was very good
Shout out to Big Eddies!
First, keep up the great work
Thanks Matt. Be Safe hey Matt stuff some Steel Wool in Snow Bike exhaust . Mother Nature said he to Load.
No way that snow bike makes it through the season . That engine is working its guts out not to mention the clutch has to be fried
Proper maintenance is key. I’ve put hundreds of hours on snowbikes with very little issues.
@justindacey that is impressive I figured it would be luck to get a season out of a motor
When is the 9R polaris cominnn?
Freekin snowbikes... do I get my wife one so she'll ride in the winter though?
Nice
where do you drive/live
Sold snowbike a few years ago. Slow and boring, even with one of the top setups. With newer sleds lighter and narrower, its a no brainer.
