    I don't fear uphill, its downhill on loose gravel and turns that screws me up. Its hard to not grab to much front brake when you feel out of control in that situation. Appreciate your videos, as a fairly new rider and older person, its helping my skills. LOL

      Same. Because of where we live and ride (coal mines - forest) you learn rocky uphills pretty quick, but steep rocky downhills with trees to run into along the bottom sketch me out. 😂

      100% this for me as well. I learnt to ride on those same pea gravel tracks Adam is on in Julimar forest. I love the up hills, jumping ruts and having a blast. Downhill, shocking. Nipping front brake, locking the rear and it trying to overtake the front. I can get it done tiptoe style, but I'd love to blast down the hills like the good blokes are doing.

      My XR650L is a tractor, I could climb 90 degrees hills with it, no issue, what scares me are loose gravel downhills as well, I have gone downhill "detached" from my bike a few times. 😅

    Absolutely love seeing the legend himself back on dirt bikes. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy your adventure bike videos but you are the man that got me to buy a dirt bike and your videos helped me practice on it. I remember taking so much from The Prodigy series and now this series is giving me so much more to practice. Your a legend that has given so much advice over the years. Though I don’t believe I’ll ever get to the skill level your at, I inspire to get close. Thank you Mr. Riemann!

I have a lot of these experiences than what you are talking about. But you got me into everything what I'm missing. For example, adding power only when I have traction, I was doing it wrong. Thanks you wery much for this advice.

    Great video Adam. It really helps being on a very light dirt bike. At least for me. Growing up in Southern California we had very technical riding in the mountains. Had a susuki tm400 that was great for hill climbs. Now at 70 things have gotten way difficult. But videos like yours are helping me remember what do to do. Sure would be nice if you could add some slow motion in portions of your videos.

    Nice skills demonstration, Adam. A few words about lower tire pressure would help too. Here in the PNW of the USA we run Tubliss in the rear sticky knobby tire so we can air down to zero psi if necessary to get up the hill. You can double the traction by doubling the contact patch.

    Big fan here, i absolutely love your videos and tutorials. Your videos with the Tenere 700 are the ones that got me into the world of motorcycling, and convinced me to start my driving school. About 6 months later after watching my first ARiemann1 video, i finally finished the driving courses and a week ago I just got my moto driving license in the mail and i can't wait to get my first bike. I would love to see you ride a single cylinder BMW F650GS ( or even the Dakar version; the 2000-2007 models) and throwing it around corners in drifts and jumps, i'm really curious if the bike can be handled that way. What do you think, could the bike be up for the task? I would have loved a Tenere 700 but the price is way out of my league, but the BMW is pretty affordable on the used market. Thanks, and cheers!

      Think about what riding you aim to do. How much will be paved, how much gravel, how much off road/trail. One advice that a lot of people echo is to get a 250cc if you aim to learn proper off road techniques. Its a lot easier to learn on a 150kg bike than a 250kg bike. Imagine you aim to learn to parallel park a car. Which one is easiest to learn on, a minicooper or a truck? The mini ofc.

    • @ValentinBeeeeee
      @ValentinBeeeeee Před 10 měsíci

    • @ValentinBeeeeee
      @ValentinBeeeeee Před 10 měsíci

      @@jace4817 i guess it will about 50/50 considering the bad roads in my country. I initially wanted to get a bike to throw it around in offroad but it being quite a big investment i say it’s just better to get a bike that does it all, road and off road. Praise the T7!

    Question: what about riding a small bore 2 stroke when hill climbing? I absolutely cannot seem to crawl up the hill on my yz125, but at 200lb without gear that isnt surprising. I have to have it wide open in the powerband in second gear and even then i typically run out of upwards momentum and have to fan the clutch to get it to stay alive but depending on the hill i'll kill it anyways before the top due to lack of forward momentum and the bike slowly bogging out..
