This is one of my favorite songs on the album, this joint is crazy- I was drunk at a hotel bar one day having a conversation w/ a man in his 60s and we sharing stories of life back and forth , I had never met him before but we spoke like we knew each other for ever - at one point he looked at me and said “don’t you wish you could put your problems in a double shot and drink and em away” - I laughed and said “ain’t that what we are doing now” - I laid on my bed all night and thought - that would be a great song 🙏 -- blessings y’all.

After my release from prison I started building an empire and was successful until I found my father dead from gunshot suicide, I soon absorbed my mother's mortgage was raising a son and running a very successful business I started doing speed to keep up with all that was on my plate. My emotional wounds from a series of misfortunate events made me make ALOT of bad choices and loose accountability for everything else in my life... This was ALOT of context most won't read but I'm not talented like this man here. So I just wanted to share how it lead me to fentanyl and destroying my life again. I've lost five family members to suicide and countless close friends to it and overdosing. I've been to head doctors therapy they call it I just want to send a shot out to jellyroll for doing what he does best and it's been the best motivation and therapy for me, I call that stereo psychology. Addiction is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with in my 22 years of living. All of your music just speaks directly to my soul. Your voice and the amount of feelings you put into your music gives me this comforting feeling I desperately need... I played this for my abusive neglectful mother who jumped from man to man. She burst into tears and started to profusely apologize for all the horrible shit she put me through as a kid. For the first time in my life I feel that we may be able to reconcile our relationship.
