This fictional Kaiserreich Documentary series explores the althistory timeline of the world's most popular fan-built althistory IP, 'Kaiserreich'. In the world of Kaiserreich, Germany and her Central Power allies win WW1, leading to a world very different than our own.
In this first episode, Kaiserreich book author Tom Black and mod developer Gabrial Matsakis explore the diverging timeline after the Kaiser decides against resuming unrestricted submarine warfare, leading to US neutrality in the Great War, and ultimately, the defeat of the Entente.

Can we just take a moment to think about how lucky we are? I feel like this mod has more work put into it than vanilla hoi4.
I only play Kaiserreich as I find vanilla hoi boring like the mod has so much care and detail put into it.
Just like Game of thrones mod for ck2. Paradox would release this amount of work/content across 6 DLCs priced at âŹ180 total.

This feels realistic because there is no ridiculous thing like a teacher founding a futurist yet religious fanatic state and a failed artist killing millions in camps and conquering all of Europe only to be defeated by a genocidal preacher and a racist gentleman who became a hero because he fought an evil greater than himself

Iâve always wondered: What if the Entente won WWI? I know this Winston guy wrote a book on it awhile ago, but I wonder if anyone here has a fresh perspective on it.
Critics are divided: some praising its detailed writing while others call it blatant wishful thinking. I'll head down the library tomorrow to buy a copy :)
@@quintustheophilus9550 I already read it. I gotta admit, it MOSTLY seems plausible. That said, some of it is a bit...eh. I mean, while the rise of Adam Dressler and the Valkists to Power is explained in Detail, it kinda stretches my Suspension of Disbelief that everything just seems to go perfectly right for them and that they manage to get so much Support even after their Leader had tried and failed to launch a Coup against the State. Much less that when he does it a second Time, the Germans largely just seem to be fine with it.

I hope when Kaiser Cat is done making lore, they make a first person shooter with gameplay elements from games like Planetside 2. Like tiles to need to conquer, a large map, etc.

I love the fact that this actually happened *somewhere* due to the many worlds theory meaning you just read out the Great War section of some otherworldly history book.

Probably not, only because of the rigorous recording of the Internet.

Plenty of scenarios where data could be corrupted or destroyed by solar stuff, one of the most famous copypastas is about future humans investigating a mcdonalds like its a place of worship because many bodies were there all sitting at tables and stuff. One of the advert screens were thought to be religious prayers iirc because they couldn't understand English anymore.
If someone, somewhere, stored all these videos in a physical disc or usb and we get unlucky enough that we lose most archives and libraries to fire and decay it could happen. After all it happened to the Norse (all their records are gone because they either barely recorded or if they did its now destroyed and even the surviving records are tainted by outside influences.)

AHH did it the best he could. KR lore isn't a piece of cake.
Oh, don't get me wrong, AHH did the best he could on his own, but KCC has not only the time to make a proper series rather than just one video, but they also work closely with the actual devs, so they can make sure they get everything right.
Of course, the devs offered to help AHH in the same way, so he doesn't really have anyone to blame but himself for the video's inconsistencies, but that's besides the point.
Does anyone have a list or examples of the inconsistencies in the AHH video?
@@CABRALFAN27 I think the inconsistencies were mostly just him struggling to properly explain it all. Honestly with the amount of timejumps and many different theaters he wanted to shine a light on, I can hardly blame him
