  • In this video I build a 3D LEGO Table that can make SATISFYING WAVES. And if you put something underneath, it creates in on the top. Pretty cool!

    This is so cool you should definitely make a table with like an acrylic panel on top so like you can eat and do stuff on it but also see the wave and make like a pattern generator that randomize the waves and all that’ll be so sick

    Imagine a room with a floor like this for VR experiences. A floor that instantly changes to match the landscape or objects in the VR world. The rods might be built with a soft material, inflatable maybe. Wouldn't that be awesome?

    This pains me because I had this same idea a year ago but never had the time or money or supplies to do it. Sadly I still don’t, but I do have ways to improve it. You could use a single motor in the middle and spin it with a paddle on the end to move the pins. You could also add roller/sliders on the sides (like a cnc machine) and have dual motors powering that and a single motor on the point of connection to move the pins. Hopefully I can work on my own version in the future. Thanks for beating me to it and giving me more inspiration!

    Little tip from my work when you are doing this. Don't insert them one at a time. Grab a bunch and move them as a pack over the surface while holdem them only lightly. That generally goes faster.

    Another approach for the "satisfying mode" would be to setup a few wheels on a spirograph/orrery-style mechanism, so they move around on various complex epicycles (just be sure it's geared such that the arms never collide); you can even add some pistons driven by gears to change the height of wheels by some amount that doesn't repeat at the same point by many turns.

  • @Scottxread
    @Scottxread Před 2 lety +3

    Improvement for the wave…
    If you created a turn table( or oscillating mechanism) then add the random pistons and added rounds to the bottom of the pins, your waves could look amazing.
    Only cons, the assembly would probably be quite tall and compact to maximise the pins you could use.

    I REALLY want this masterpiece, like you could use it for geography, with the pyramids of Giza, you put the build in and raise it, that'd be sooooo cool. Or like an Aztec pyramid or even 3d models (that are small).
    You can do so many things with this fun machine, this machine would be unlimited amounts of fun to play with. Just think of it, you could be sitting for HOURS on end just putting builds through this machine watching it pop up as if it were magic!

    This seems really cool if Lego word to make this I feel like they would not have the satisfying mode and they would have the mechanisms to pop out the builds a bit more hidden you would obviously still be able to slide your builds in to the top and click the button to push them up but you wouldn’t see too much of the inner workings or they could do it with clear Lego bricks so you can see it but it’s more solid

      X7tdx7txutx6 rye 4AM and its own recipe for the recipe are a good way for the whole to use the ingredients in a small saucepan and stir together in a bowl until the egg whites were slightly thickened with a teaspoon or a teaspoon or a teaspoon or so the sauce will see if the butter will see if the cake has been made with a little bit more flavor and a little bit more of the flavor and the texture is good and it to the rest is the perfect solution to a great mix.
