- In this video I design Automatic Motorized LEGO Eye Protection Goggles that can react FASTER THAN A HUMAN! its like a REAL LIFE "Spidey-Sense"
The reason I decided to make this is because I got hit in the eye with a foam dart last year, and realized that I wasn't able to stop it because of my slow reaction time. Therefore, I invented this. I hope you enjoy. DON'T TRY THIS!

Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses when handling toy blasters of any kind. its also smart to wear eye protection when dealing with any type of flying projectile.
Safety is important! - Zábava
Brian's a real one here. Putting his life on the line for content... what a hero 🙏
Yooooooo Hi!
@Archie Playz right
I know
Ikr
True
Anyone who wears this during Nerf battles will be the hottest most beautiful person on the battlefield.
I’ll give you 11% equity for a $200,000 stake in my new invention.
This is probably my favourite thing you have built, and the fact that it is able to stop the force of a nerf rival round is absolutely insane!
The goggles DID NOT STOP it.
It was the front motor.
But the goggles were closed fast enough
I have shot a need rival kronos at Lego like that it broke it
Also it fires a lot faster
Hhuz
😊
He video was great, I watched it many times
First.
Fight me... (Just let me put on my newAutomatic LEGO Aye Protection first)

Always in
Can you please make a trampoline out of Lego it Will be cool but only if you want
Spelt eye wrong
You're gonna get that military contract!
You are an embodiment of an engineer, if there isn't a problem readily available you will either find one or make your own problem
The fact that he is showing us how to do it not just building it is amazing
I think thats why you should use protection glasses/goggles, epic build tho
I love how the dart didn't even hit the goggles instead it hit the motor just above it. This means if there was no protection it would have hit just above the eye. This is still a really cool idea
is it really just me and you that noticed that?
Me too
Cool idea! One thing you can do in your programming is put your motors for on, then put a wait block. Put that to wait for motor rotation 90 degrees!
bro could have just used eye protection goggles from the home depot💀
I have two improvements to suggest. Lego has ultrasonic sensors and their distance can be set in code. Additionally, you are limited by the speed of the motor. Instead of waiting for the full 90 degrees of turning you should make a clamp that just drops the glasses on your face with only like 10 degrees of movement making it way quicker.
Or just wear safety glasses LIKE A NORMAL PERSON
@@gbyt034 bruv you have a blue alien as your pfp, not like a normal person, your built like quandale dingles goofy ahh uncles goofy ahh fish
This guy is way to smart for me
Actually the second idea is nice but I took lessons about this lego ev3 and the ultrasonic sensor was not that fast at all but if it was you would be right
Brick Science is the BEST LEGO maker ever he makes me smile every time I watch him thank you Brick Science for being such a great person you always make my day thank you❤
Wow! This works so well! And it looks so cool! I love the concept of this!👍
Ty or th bricks
Nice vid. Could you maybe make a LEGO aerial tramway, gondola, and/or chairlift? I think that would be really cool!
And to think all of that to build eye protection glasses, Awesome! Although seriously it is a great concept.
Just found your channel, it’s super awesome!! Love your videos!!❤️
i can't wait for it to go out
and be live this would be cool
Yeah right
Its a premiere, not live.
i swear to god you could make a iron man suit using this kind of tech
It was oddly satisfying to watch you build the helmet base and fit it to your head. But anyway, that was awesome! I haven't made Lego armor since I was little, and between this and the articulate gloves/hand extensions, yours is looking good.
🙏 thanks so much!!
@@Brick_Science Have you broken any world records and received Guinness World Records in your life?
@@Brick_Scienceare you Dutch
Alternate title: I over engineered safety glasses. Lol, nonetheless you did a great job with the idea. It would be amazing if you could somehow make it sensor or camera activated instead of sound.
This video also made me think it would be cool if you were to build a Lego vr headset
pls make an iron man suit to accommodate your iron man helmet it'll look so cool
You have insanely creative ideas, you're funny and overall my favorite youtuber.
Thanks,
Karl
Ok
-Isaiah
You actually made something insane from toys. (I am actually suprised that it worked)
you literally inspired me to make lego creations and your ideas really helped me build
My guy out here looking like Doc Brown from back to the future
This thing is really neat! Concept is definitely there.
I'm gonna say it, this is probably everyones childhood dream!
If only you could of had it before you got hit in the eye- The way the contraption looks when it's on your head though is just fire 🔥😂
I wish I was as good at thinking of ideas as you.
You know, you could have just worn some glasses but the idea is pretty cool
Brick science: *gets eye injured*
Brick science: *builds overly complicated device to defend eyes*
Normal person: *Gets eye injured*
Normal person: *wears glasses*
i'd wear sheets of graphene (looi'd wear sheets of graphene (look it up for more info)
Imagine being him.... but also me
Would be cray
Idea: a Lego NPC that actually moves randomly.
i love the concept of this! but, what abt the back? XD anyway great work again!
This guy is just amazing
The last points about safety goggles, glasses, etc…I can vouch for that. I’ve been wearing glasses long enough that if I ever somehow didn’t need them anymore my eyes would be in serious danger lol…my glasses have saved me from myself on many an occasion 😬
That hamlet looks like a roly poly
According to me this is the best thing you have built
A simple weakness, silencers.
"Always wear eye protection while testing eye protection!"
Lol, so true
@@Brick_Science Wow ypu repied to his hes so lucky
I remember when I use to have a LEGO camera. It was fun. Then my family upgraded to a computer with Windows XP and it stopped working.
1:59 That sure looks like a fast ops core helmet!
He needs to wear this in all of his videos now.
Can you build a AWSOME working lego armor :D
I love his reaction when it worked
The helmet is awesome
You should try making like a Lego prosthetic arm, and control it with a haptic Lego glove
What a great idea
WOW awesome job 👍
Orr instead he could you know... Just where safety glasses. Jokes aside good job dude!
i love your videos riley there so cool and funny
Well since a paire of glass could do the trick just fine i think your helmet got the over-engineered approval lmao
you need to get hired by Lego immediately
Oh, i got a nerf shot in my eye too....
Again amazing job they should make this a Lego set
I remember having a nerf war with my friend and we both jumped out of a corner at the same time and shot eachother in the eye at the same time. I was like 5 but didnt cry probably cause i was having alot of fun. Thanks for that memory riley
This combines my two favorite things, LEGO and coding, perfectly. Nicely done, @Brick Science
Man that is awesome! I can’t believe this is possible with just legos!
Brian was the star of the video
This is awesome!
When I was a kid we had a nerf war and someone shot at me but I hit it out of the air with a toy sword it was epic
Can’t wait for it to start
05:10 You remind me of doc in "Back to the Future" with this helmet
It looks like one of those military helmets with that battery at the back
Love this video idea, God bless
#SSS I watched all your videos and I watch then over and over again because what you do is so interesting
I know it sounds way less cool than making am automatical system like you did in the video, but couldn't you wear proper face and eye protection?
love it man
We have found the man that can outsmart a bullet
this is epic, it reminds me of halo for some reason
Dude That Looks Like A Special Ops Night Vision
i love your ideas i am dealing with ev3 right now
the motor is stuffed 🤣🤣🤣
I just got an idea from rewatching this video. Use the same build technique you used for the helmet to build the Omnidroid from The Incredibles.
you could just wear eye protection glasses but I like this better!
Bro needs to make a Lego mech suit
this man rly said OUR head (no offense this video was rly good)
that was realy funny when the middle visor fell
of
that helmet base would be a super cool looking wheel
dude when he added the motors it looked like the evil type of sherk
It is a crime that you don't have more than a million followers rn.
Hey man Video Idea Making a lego flash Helmet. Also #SUPERSPECIALSHOUTOUTSQUAD.
When i rewatch the clip at 25 % speed it actually hits the motor BUT the goggles wereactivated fast enough.
Congrats on making this.
Btw i have the new mindtorms set and it comes with a distance camera and it can program from scratch or python what is very much easier. nice work
You are the best at Lego ❤😂
I don’t know why this channel doesn’t have 1 million subs already! 🤷♂️
das insane bro
You should make a Spider-Man mask with lego
yo that was Epic!!!
hey a military helmet WOULD BE SICK
His reaction reminds me of the videos of Tadashi working on baymax in big hero 6
He makes this epic thing, then just wars glasses 🙃
So safety glasses with safety sensors am I right?
Oh wow also u can create a gloves or a bow out of lego lol
hear me out fastest eye protection is just the kind that stays on your face the whole time and doesn't require a large battery box
8:43 My daily dose of HORROR! 💀
Or, just thought of this, it’s an out of this world idea, trust me the build up is worth it, this is a really long run on sentence, you could just…wear eye protection. I know, I know it’s a genius idea no one even thought of.
9:09 nice studio
HE IS BETTER THEN I WILL EVER BE IN MY LIFE WITH LEGOS
BRO YOUR SO COOL
