I'm really loving this LEGO-to-real life series. In a way, it just shows the work the people put into these Technic sets to make them so realistic!
If you went through a few of the sets and modified them to not be limited or restricted, and did the same video, it would be very interesting to see what kinds of damage would be done to the components

What you're currently doing rn is basically my childhood dreams. I've had always wanted toys that is construction related before and play on the ground.
Ok, so basically what you're doing with the LEGO house is making what's called 'pre-fab', a house made in a controlled environment (basically a house made in a bigger house made to make houses without the environmental problems making a house usually implies), and from what I know, usually pre-fab are made in halves to save on moving costs (both for the buyer and the owner of the company) with the rooftop completely separated from the structure of the home because of height problems from bridges, electrical wires and such. I'm willing to bet tho that there *are* some pre-fab out there that are made like how you did in the video, wall-by-wall instead of two halves, so do take this with a grain of salt.

I’ll put this out here, the mobile crane MK II (42009) is similar to a leibherr ltm mobile crane, but isn’t after I realised it’s just a claw not an excavator-similar pushy thingy.

As someone who’s worked in concrete for a long time it’s funny seeing how this guy put this insane gas mask on and I’ve never even as little as put a face mask on while mixing concrete😂

When the first time lapse sequence started, I thought "Wow, he builds so fast!" and it took my brain a couple seconds to catch up with reality. If could've seen myself, I probably had the 'buffering' wheel spinning above my head. XD

Honestly didn't expect the 8043 to show up here since it's such an old set. It's still my favorite set I own, however.
This is quite good and interesting idea, but since the original machines did not work so well, maybe u could try some MOC's doing the same thing?

I’d like to see if you can make Lego construction equipment that can actually work better than the kits! Or see if you can make the kits stronger
I wonder if using LEGO Mindstorms to roboticize the machines will work? Mindstorms from NXT and later tend to have more powerful motors than Power Functions.
Most iterations of Mindstorms can be set up for remote control, as well, be it by another p-brick of the same generation or by some other device like a phone or Bluetooth game controller via third-party software and firmware.
This wanna really cool video, I love huge construction vehicles and it was so cool seeing them excavating the area and building the house like on a human scale! It's like I've been given an insight on how Lego minifigs construct their buildings. Also it would have been cool if you added Lego construction minifigs driving the vehicles, that would be a nice addition!

No way you did about 5 second approx timelapse montage for like a number of "huge" Lego build sets ... while it takes me weeks to completely make a Lego set from scratch provided that i don't track of many small pieces . Usually you see other Lego CZcamsrs on CZcams like TD brooks and you say they're annoying but you're surprisingly good been so much time and effort and money on these videos you're my favorite you tuber

His sets are likely given him by Lego. If not, the videos pay for them and he may write them off as business expenses ($500 isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme).

They'll look like it took hard work to build everything, but it's worth it.
I wonder if you could mod the gears or internals to provide more torque/power to actually be used outdoors.
just switch out the slip gears for regular gears. might be a little risky and might break but would be worth a try

This is really cool, only thing is the dirt didn’t get ratio’d down.. it should have been like fine powder to be more accurate, and something less dense, but still really cool!

The bucket excavator is the best set I have ever made and I loved it. Unfortunately it's been at my exes house for several years. But life goes on and one day I can get another!

For the next control+ set i think it should be the liebherr ltm 1050 (not that big), it has a gearbox, different types of steering like the class tractor in lego and has 3 telescopic sections
One: I have the Volvo, and it’s a dump truck. Two, I also have the cement mixer. Both are great sets! (Except for the fact that I couldn’t get the Volvo to work.)
It's rare I actually sit and watch a full video these days. But this was interesting enough for that I guess, haha. Crazy how much those kits cost.
