WILD HARVEST ("Bar Room Brawl" Scene)

I think that this scene from AL's movie WILD HARVEST (1947) is one of the best bar room brawls of classical Hollywood cinema. It also impressively illustrates that AL did quite a few of his stunts himself. Given the choice of walking through a door or jumping through a window, AL usually chose the window, and his wiry, elegant form makes that something of an aesthetic pleasure. Tay Garnett, the director of this movie, once called him an "Atlas en miniature".

I remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid, haven't seen it since. For some reason I remember them wrapping belts around their hands in this fight scene. Have you got the scene where the field is on fire and one of them says "The gas tank's getting too hot !" ?
