    Excellent! --Finally someone who tells us exactly how to use legacy manual lenses on a Fuji camera. Very well done. - I have the X-S10 on the way, and have a lot of excellent legacy lenses with adapters for the X mount, and am looking forward to using them on the X-S10. I also like that you go into detail on customizing the Fn buttons - especially setting the left scroll wheel to what you prefer - like ISO, which is what it will be for me too. Your review is very easy to follow and understand. Thanks for a great essential review of the Fuji X-S10.

    Great video! I’d add one more to help save battery life since the XS10 eats batteries like candy. Turn Bluetooth on only as needed. Or better yet, leave it off 100% or the time and then if you want to transfer images to your phone, initiate a connection using the wireless communication function (in the menu or through a function button) each time.

    Thanks. Helpful. … another reviewer did that unlike other Fuji cameras, on the XS10, when you double click the joystick, the focus point does not return to center position. Instead it does a focus zoom function. Is there a way to customize it to make focus point return to center? I feel like this is an important functionality as it is so easy to accidentally move the focus point away from center, so it’s great to be able to quickly reset it back to center. Thanks.

    Hey Mr. I bought this camera, and hoped that the unmarked dials are remappable, however I can't find any option to switch the front and back dial (F and shutter). Using a native lens, the F ring is on the lens, so at the moment, the front dial is completely useless, does not change any setting, and I can't find out how to resolve it. Can you help me, or at least confirm, that the two right dials are not remappable or interchangable.

    Hi, thanks for the great video. There is something I can't figure out with my X-S10: when the dial is in one of the 4 Custom Modes, and the shooting mode is P, the front wheel still controls the Shutter Speed. Why is that? (on the contrary, when the dial is in P, there the Shutter Speed is automatic, so I would expect it to be the same even in C1-C4 with P as shooting mode)

      @ptgood Před 2 lety +1

      @@Reggiebphoto I actually found out what is the setting that triggers it: when in P shooting mode, if the DR is set to Auto, the only setting I can change is the ISO. When DR is not set in Auto (i.e. 100%, 200% or 400%), the front dial regulates the Shutter Speed. In this case the P program is sort of an S program, isn’t it? Why is that?
