- Today we continue our Kill Team faction breakdowns with the Drukhari, aka Dark Eldar, aka “Commorites” Kill Team! I’m joined once again by Kellen Foster fresh off ANOTHER tournament win - and if memory serves correctly he won another one after we recorded this! Drukhari are absolutely savage this edition and are a great pick for Competitive players. Our goal is to give as much info for YOU regarding how to play drukhari in Kill Team in 10 minutes or less, so grab your favorite bottle of deadly poison, hit that “like” button, and lets do a screaming cartwheel into today’s episode!

When you said to use Agonite on your splinter cannon and “reroll hits” did you mean “misses”, or reroll all hits AND misses that aren’t crits; ulitimately fishing for crits?
@@konatelassina5301 most of the time I fish for crits. It usually nets you 3-4

@@Spaniard727 I take one of each special weapon option for wyches and kabalites, both sergeants with blast pistol and power sword, 3 kabalite warriors, and 6 wych warriors. This gives the options of either a split roster or full wyches
Yeah, maybe 20-25 minute episodes would be good.
I would have enjoyed hearing more about winning with drukhari from the guest who won a tournament. Shame he was rushed off like that
Hah, I know when this was recorded, because I was the Chaos player on the other side of the Power from Pain example. Drukhari are a lot of fun to play, agree on the 5/5 split, but I like having the full range of Kabalite options on the roster instead of having the option for 10 Wyches. The Fleet ploy gives them a lot of speed to shoot and reposition, which is useful to misdirect elite teams.

I've been trying to find/waiting for a drukhari faction focus! Just ordered my wyches box a few days ago. I'll have some fun with that, and then if I want to go even further beyond I'll pick up my kabalites! Great video!

Love the idea of Drukhari... My plan to collect only bespoke teams actively is hard to keep to when I see each team even in the Compendium playing so well...
Why limit yourself, just play whatever you think is cool

Thanks Dyson! Yeah haha, I used to do 2-3 hour podcasts and nobody watched! It blew me away because I’d have guests on that I thought would be impossible to get, and they wouldn’t hold anything back - but time and time again, the feedback I got was that people wanted shorter, more focused content. So with 2.0, I said ok, let’s start with a faction focus series that gets people going strong with each team in 10 minutes or less and see if that gets a better response?

Ah fair enough I have to admit that a 10 minute video is more enticing than trying to scan through 2 hours for the info you want so yeh it's a tough one lol, loved the wisdom though really great info keep it up!👍

Could someone explain the Hekatrix or Sybarite using Power Weapon versus using Agonizer? Basically the PW gas base 4 damage where agonizer has base 3 and brutal. Is the base 4 just better?
Yes, brutal doesn't come up all that often because the fight usually ends in a couple swings. On top of that, brutal forces your opponent to hit you, taking wounds they may not have opted to. Generally the extra point of damage makes it so you can kill say an 8 wound model in only a couple hits. The 3 damage on the whip hurt me in a lot of the games I've used it.

Do you have any guidelines on when you would pick Grenades on your Wyches versus Combat Drugs?

Playing against dark elves feels bad, they get alot of shenanigans and have great weapons/ tools.
I wish the other armies got as much love as it seems the dark elves got.
