Understanding the Specifications of the HHI's Philippine Navy OPV

Related to the 3rd milestone release of the Special Allotment Release Order or SARO document from the Department of Budget and Management or DBM to the Philippine Navy's Offshore Patrol Vessel Acquisition Project, the contract for this project has awarded to HD Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea.
Initially named as the HDP-2400 design, this design subsequently became the HDP-2200+ offshore patrol vessel design, of which it determines the final output, construction, and delivery of the vessels to the Philippine Navy. The project calls for at least six (6) units.
