Why procure cheap useless warship armed only armed with few missile. Why are they doing this. Can they not procure fully armed frigate like the Australian Tasman class FFG. Kahit İsa pwede. Investing in more powerful ecorndive warship is more better.
OPVs, Corvettes, Frigates, Destroyer etc have varying roles in wars. You can install the same amouint of armaments in these ships as the Corvettes. But it really depends on what role you wish to assign them for? Security, Mine Sweeping, Anti Sub, Anti Aircraft/Missiles, etc etc.. Do also remember in times of War all PCG ships can be converted and assigned for military roles. You just need to arm them properly with the weapons that are assigned to them.

Downgraded version, small ton limited range, inferior missiles and lack of CIWS, making it a sitting duck. Two are being ordered.
