- Interesting display from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HD HHI) at the Korean Ocean Expo (KOE) 2024 in Incheon, South Korea.
A scale model was shown of the HDP-2200 patrol vessel design in Philippine Coast Guard colors, as it offers the design to the international market for Offshore Patrol Vessel requirements.
The HDP-2200 is the same design selected by the Philippine Navy for its OPV requirements although the naval version is uparmed and configured for low to medium intensity naval operations.
With the Philippine Coast Guard modernizing and expanding its force with plans to acquire new Offshore Patrol Vessels and Ocean-going Multirole Response Vessels, it is possible that HD HHI is offering its designs to meet the PCG's requirements.
Hoping our AFP/PN will have many new military equipment such as destroyers (12) frigates (36), corvettes (36), offshore/onshore patrol vessels (60), patrol boats (60), fast attack crafts (150), fast missiles craft (36), multi-role fighter aircrafts (240), attack helicopters (60), anti-submarine helicopters (36) and submarines (4), missile defense systems, Unmanned aerial/sea vehicles and high advance military communication systems for first line of defense and protection of our country's EEZ/territory. God bless Philippines.

Nano meters or nautical miles?
95 m long, 6500 miles of range and at 2400 tons
@@joeallencaseres2035 I am referring to the max distance a vessel can travel at sea, the AI narrator mentioned the unit of distance as Nano Meters (NM) when it should be in Nautical Miles.
