I totally agree. I do wish that you could perform this glitch on the fly and that being at his shack was not a requirement.
@@TrappedInFallout Like some of the trainer glitches in Skyrim, where some of them can be companions and you can just take the money back?
@Craxin01 Yeah pretty much. I do fire up Skyrim from time to time and enjoy the more simpler steps ha ha.
This is a neat glitch I didn't know about, however I still find it preferable to just get 34k caps then turn those into ultra luxe chips and do that money glitch instead

Even more evidence that Jury Rigging is a noob bait perk.

By doing this exploit it makes the Jury Rigging Perk sorta useless and allows you repair expensive equipment like NCR Combat Armor etc.
It's a fair point however there is one major downside to this glitch - you need to be at the shack with Raul inside it. With the perk, you can at least repair things while on the move.

What's a noob bait perk?
I did not know of this glitch but I don’t need help fixing repairs to begin with any way. Jury rig is like my favorite skill of all time.
Hurry Rigging definitely helps to repair, better yet repair anywhere without having to be at this location. However using this method is practically free and it saves you from having to use up other weapons, which you can then sell for more caps.
@TrappedInFallout to be fair, easy to get tons of caps for whatever reason, so Jury rigging is broken that way. 😂
@trueredpanda1538 I guess that's true ha ha. Still, super worth having for multiple reasons.
If do ammo dupe glitch that can dupe u thousands to millions of that ammo instant, then u can use for example sniper ammo and have that as a cap exchanger, better than sneak and steal back caps and quicker
It's a good idea - having a large number of caps to help repair things. Would work better also as you can then not just have to travel to the shack, can do with multiple vendor locations.
For every peice of armor you get from the glitch one will spawn on the dead bodies of the powder gangers. Every single one had 410 peices of armor. Holy crap
A part of the Chet glitch yeah that's right. And I kick myself everything when I recall the fact that I totally forgot to mention that in my video.

Is it possible to do it without him catching you? That way you wouldn't have to exit and reload.
Yes, get out of his shack and fast travel to a random location and wait 3 days or 4 days just in case and then go back to him and talk to him it should reset it works for me.
Waiting for 3 days resets NPC hostility however if you’re a vilified to a faction it does not work. But, it does work on non faction npc
Yeap, resetting his hostility will resolve the issue which can be done as said by Hunter.

@TrappedInFallout definitely been playing for hundreds of hours and I didn't know about this one. Do you have one for FO3 as well?
@JMW10o0o There sort of is one for FO3. You can checkout my infinite caps glitch for FO3 which sort of also helps to repair your armor for free almost.
Doesn't work for me, caps are not in inventory.
Are you being caught perhaps? If you are getting caught then you will not get the caps.
@@TrappedInFallout nah i got real good stealth, this is probably some console exclusive.
For reference, got him from black mountain, recruited him, sent him to shack, repaired some stuff, pick pocketed him, didnt get caught, nothing there.
@2wenty256 Ah I see. Maybe try again in 72 in game hours as sometimes NPC do have their inventory refreshed so hopefully that may help.
@@TrappedInFallout having the same issue, Raul will repair the items, but there are no caps (or items) in his inventory when I try to pick pocket.
@SteeZpM It seems like this is a random issue. I went back and tried again and behild I had the same issue. So I went away and waited 72 hours and return and tried again. It then worked. So I would suggest try again after some time.
