I am noticing more and more games I am playing have like NO coverage or tutorials of how to accomplish, find, or peform specific tasks and it is so infuriating when the game is of little help. So even though there's a ton of coverage of the Bethesda+ Fallout games, it makes me happy to see someone cover everything they can about a game to help people to achieve what they would like in a game. Dumb and cheesy, but I mean it. This stuff is great. Thank you. :]

Isn’t it a major part of the game to figure out how it works for you? You wake up after 200 years asleep after a world changing incident and now it’s up to you to survive … make the best of your opportunities … or just die after 5 minutes. We all did it at 1st.
3 locations that I think are worth adding: -The tunnels under Concord - 30m, or so, to the NE of the museum where Persistent Garbage (Preston Garvey) and his group of morons are trapped, there's a hatch that leads down into the tunnels. There are three radroaches that can be farmed for specific items with specific legendary effects. -Ghoul-house south of Bunker Hill - One of the houses on the east side of the street (towards USS Constitution) has some ghouls for a quick farm. Enter from the back! I'll let you decide if this place is better than National Guard Training Yard, or not. -Croup Manor - Once you've taken care of the ghouls outdoors, you can enter the basement. There will be four ghouls there for another efficient farm. Just make a quicksave or a hard save BEFORE entering said locations, and you can farm until an enemy drops the weapon or armor type you're after. Once that happens, load the last autosave that the game made when you entered the location, and this time, farm for the right legendary effect on it. Plenty of videos on this topic!

A decent early game location is the Concord Civic Access. If you face the Museum of Freedom, there is a bus stop and a Pulowski Preservation Shelter to the left just up the street a little bit. Behind the bus stop is a hatch door. Inside is a small railing with a walkway leading down a staircase. Three radroaches spawn close together with one having a decent chance for a legendary. They're not high level, but you can easily get an explosive double-barreled shotgun or a kneecapper's pipe rifle.
I know the area your referring to and its a good shout for sure. I should have included as I am aware of the likely hood of a legendary Radroach. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing video, as usual. I really like how concise and clear you are with your guides and explanations, especially the beginning explaining how it all works with the chart. A lot of people still think the Luck stat is what produces more legendary spawns, when it really has nothing to do with it. Player level and game difficulty are the driver. A few I would add to the list for early game farming are the Concord Civic Access (Sewers) if you tend to take the natural path and save the Minutemen, this should easily put you at lvl 6. You want to take the entrance by the bus stop/Pulowski preservation chamber as it is one of the 3 roaches by the door that will spawn as legendary. College Square Station, again somewhat following the normal path you might take down to Diamond City through Cambridge (also by the Police Station if you want to start things up with the Brotherhood of Steel). It is usually one of the handful of ghouls by the main entrance. The Old North Church, if you like to do the entry quests for the Railroad early game to gain access to ballistic weave. Often times it is one of the few ghouls on the main level right after you enter, sometimes one of the couple in the basement so it always makes sense to check since it is such a small area. All are great due to the limited number of enemies and the spawns all being very close to the door - great for save scumming. I actually used these to get all my Sentinel gear (well, used the sewers to get an explosive double barrel to start, I think I got the other sentinel armor piece at Pickman's Gallery, another early farming spot lol). Did When Pigs Fly for the Chinese Grenade Launcher, purchased the Overseer's right arm and Spray n Pray early, then over to Far Harbor for the Kiloton Rifle and Recon Chest to complete my 5 piece Sentinel and explosive weapons build. Waited until lvl 25 to hit the Training Yard for an explosive combat shotgun. Way easier to complete the build than I thought it would be.
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback and thoughts. I do try to make my guides as clear, easy and simply to follow as possible so your feedback is much appreciated. Thanks also for adding in the additional spots - they are well worth adding to the list in this video. I do something similar myself - after deciding on what build I want I tend to level up a little until I feel confident that the game will start to spawn combat armor. And then I fish for combat armor (at which point the weapons I want also start to spawn e.g. combat rifle).
National Guard Training Yard is my go to place. It's real quick, and I get explosive combat shotgun there every time around lvl 18 (takes maybe 10-20 reloads or so).
@@BlackPFPguy Not sure as I've never farmed NGTY at that high a level for the explosive combat shotgun. In probably a dozen or more plays of the game (around 3500 hours) I've gotten it every time there around lvl 18-24 or so (except my recent survival mode try, but I got one to drop elsewhere just playing, got lucky). I suspect the drop table may change there at your level. I don't believe I've ever played it without an ECS.
@@caelachyt yea I moved into croup manor, loot locked the combat shotgun and no luck. I also farmed NGTY and croup manor at level 20 and no luck. I’m 65 now so I’m going to go back to NGTY and try again but honestly I’m starting to just get pissed off and might just use overseers guardian until I get a higher level to try again.
@@BlackPFPguy I'm sure you know that you could always just console command one. Seems your luck has been so bad that may be justified (you're on "very hard" right?).
Olivia is a good farm for 5mm ammo. Sneak in kill Ack Ack first she'll drop the mini gun every time another raider picks it up kill them. You'll get up to 500 5mn rounds for every one that picks up the mini gun m I've walked away with around 3300 before. Very easy difficulty, just run around a lot.
That's actually a lovely hack of sorts and it's made it's way from FO3 and NV. I've never actually created a guide for it but I really should as it's a great way to generate ammo for weapons easily. This works very well for weapons that have limited ammo such as the Alien Blaster. Thanks so much for sharing.

I use the hubris comics to farm its really super fast usually one of 2 different gouls thatare legenday you can run it in like less than 2 min sometimes in less than a min . It'd a great farm .
I feel the same way. It's a great location. What's nice is that the National Training yard is in about the same area of the world map so that helps also.
If you have the Nuka World dlc if you fast travel to the museum there will be a legendary usually it's one of the raiders from nuka world but you can kill them and the rest don't get mad .when done fast travel to another location and back and they respawn no need to reload you can pile up legendary items sell what you don't want .
I swear that I farmed a whole weekend at the national guard training yard, trying to get a explosive minigun but it would not drop and when i finally spawned a minigun it kept repeating the same 4 effects so i gave up and i eventually got one from the bowling place in the far harbor dlc. That's the real best place to get legendary weapons in the far harbor dlc.
Also a good way to get aluminum is pick up mechanical guns (so not lasers and plasma) that have the plus sign next to it when looting. It usually means they've been slightly modded by the enemy. Bring those back to your weapons workshop table and scrap them. I got so much from picking up guns vs finding surgical trays and aluminum cans 😂

Did you have any trouble getting it, I’m level 60 and I’ve done a loot locked combat shotgun for like 2 Hours and I haven’t gotten it, any tips?

I think it's a great spot. I have not touched any mainstream DLC content yet for FO4 but when I do I will start talking about it for sure.

Do the legendary enemies eventually respawn if youve previously cleared an area? If so, how often?
Yes they do but it takes a while. On non survival mode it's about 2 in game weeks. On survival mode it is much longer, around 80 in game days.
