  • My climate control buttons were pretty worn so in this video I show you how and what not to do when replacing the buttons. I ended up making a huge mistake costing me. Now ill probably have to replace the whole unit.
After a few days everything is in working order still and not extremely noticeable, just quite annoying.
Hopefully this video helped you In someway or could be used a resource for some information!
    Again Thanks for watching!!!

Thank you. I just replaced my buttons with the £45 kit from Amazon and your video was really helpful in making sure I didn’t break anything during the process. It only took me 30 minutes because I was able to see it all in advance. And it looks great. Really appreciate you sharing.

Too bad about the side - pieces, I’ve got the same problem. Thanks for a clear and easy to follow video!

Thanks, I enjoyed your video, even if you had a let down with the regulator button. It looks very nice. I am currently looking to change mine, but parts here in Australia are very difficult to come by ( either the U.S. or U.K.). Anyway I want to wish you a very Happy Christmas and whatever happens in 2021 has got to be better than this year!!!!!!

I can’t believe it would be cheaper to get a second hand stereo AND cc system for cheaper than just the buttons! 300$ is insane!

Hey, do you know how difficult it is to replace the LED/lamp behind the window heating indicator? Mine seems to have failed, making it difficult to see if window heating is on or not...

Unfortunately I’ve never had to replace it , I assume the steps to get to it are similar to what I had to do in the video

I went ahead and disassembled it. Turned out to be two dead 3528 SMD LEDs. I soldered in new ones and it worked!

I also broke the +/- ones. Welp.. I will need to improvise something. I don't wanna replace the whole unit for a stupid button. Thanks for the vid tho.

Pretty expensive in the UK as well. Probably cheaper to get a second hand control unit.
