A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

When I think about how long he hesitated to sing because he didn’t think he could sing, and opted to write songs for everybody else instead, I feel so sad. It was his wife who finally convinced him to continue as a writer but singing the songs himself. Thank you, Morgana,,,

I get emotional every time I hear this tune, my friend. His emotion in the singing comes across like a plea for help. It's ridiculous how hard that emotion hits you as a listener. I sincerely weep when I hear this tune. Not because I'm sad, but because it's just so powerful sounding. Amazing singer.

That's called a vicarious feeling. Experiencing something through someone or something else. Parents are known for living out the childhood they wish they had vicariously through their children. Like having their son play football or being an achiever or even just raising them in a home with two parents and giving them a stable loving home. Same with music singing about heartbreak, loss or even joy or rage. We can't help but feel the emotion through the music when it's done right.

I worked one of his shows and couldn't help but drop a tear and i was blown away.
He just gets you going raw .. just him and his ole ass guitar .. he’s so talented it’s ridiculous., it’s like he’s 5 genres in one .. old country new country soul blues R&B rock if he wants .. he can just do it all.. I know exactly what you mean. There is something about his voice that I connect with. I feel it in my bones. Doesnt matter which song he sings, whether he's doing one of his rock songs, blues, country or bluegrass.

His drummer Derek Mixon is from my hometown of west Monroe, la he was in a funk soul band called Howard shaft and the horns, the bass player in that group was James Cook who now plays for Luke Bryan, so much talent out of Louisiana
