    Wow, you're back!
A little bit of context: despite the german name ("Panzer"), this song is about the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 after the events of 9/11, with the aim of ending dictator Saddam Hussein’s regime. It is mainly focused "against" the terror tactics used during the war ("insect of terror don't run").
Sabaton still has their characteristic sound from back then, but they have experimented with different sounds and paces. What changed the most however is their approach to historic events: they stopped making music about present or recent events, since excluding wars against terrorists or cartels, there isn't a "good" and a "bad" guy, so singing about either side is going to cause much more backlash than talking about historic wars that happened a long time ago.
For example, the invasion of Iraq was seen by the US and their allies as a war against terrorism and Hussein's dictatorship, to bring freedom and democracy to Iraq and remove their weapons of mass destruction. For the rest of the world (including countries like France and Germany), it was an invasion of a sovereign state on the false pretext of WMD's, without any kind of actual proof to back up the claims, and thus illegal by international law. Many innocent civilians died in the conflict, so saying that all who opposed the US invasion were terrorists is also a lie. On the other hand, many terrorist organisations (mainly ISIS) were indeedpushed back by the US.

The title did throw me off a bit when I saw Bush haha
It's such a shame when you live in such polarizing times that it can restrict one's creativity. Who knows the amount of art we've missed just because artists have to be constantly aware of what they say and do. Cheers brother!

Love to hear the older songs of Sabaton come back to life on youtube :) Some of these songs are truly amazing.
And at least with this song you are in the correct war that you thought of in the previous video ;)
Keep strong! The Sabaton army will definitely come back for more on your channel :)
And I think you skipped one album, though. Their first album has almost if absolutely nothing to do with war. Still not a bad album, but the lyrics are very different from this. Metalizer I think the album is called.
Hm, as for suggesting other bands.....
Well there is another swedish metal/hard rock band that I personally love. Hammerfall. If you haven't heard them before then I strongly recommend them. They've got many great songs, any song with them would be great. But "Last Man Standing" or "Any Means Necessary" are personal favorites. :)

      Oh!
      P.S. on my comment btw.....
You can also just go for Tommy Johansson and rise up for further audience on youtube... He is super popular atm, and I understand why. He is the blonde guitarrist in Sabaton who also has his own band, Majestica, aswell as his own youtube channel where he does covers. I mean, I just hope that you don't go down the road that everyone else does with him and say "Oh he should be the lead in Sabaton!" and just go crazy for him in every Sabaton song, because I get so tired of that... on every single youtube reaction channel, that is how it goes...
But Tommy definitely is worth a check up too from you.

A great reaction! I highly recommend Wolfpack and Dreadnought, I actually put Dreadnought over Bismark, and Wolfpack is close. Also, Cliffs of Gallipoli hits right in my New Zeland heritage.

Dreadnought over Bismarck? Those are some fighting words, friend ;) Can't wait to listen to the track and I look forward to eating my words! Cheers!

@@cloudedreactions2578 It is my personal opinion, so I will understand if you still think Bismark is better. It is a very different song, being quite powerful yet slow (like the dreadnoughts 😉) and it took a few listens to start truely appreciating it. But of all the Sabaton songs about ships and naval warfare, Dreadnought is - to quote the song - “UNOPPOSED UNDER CRIMSON SKIES, IMMORTALISED OVER TIME.”

ik im a bit late to comment but when he sings "infantry watching our back" he means that the infantry is basicly clearing the area after the tanks have broken through the defensive lines or whatever they are attacking, and also tanks without infantry can easily be targeted by enemy infantry with anti tank weapons such as RPG, ATGM or other armor piercing explosives.

  • @freedomefighterbrony9053

Yes tanks need infrantry a tank is almost usless without support they can easily be overan or ambushed by anti tank teams russian tank losses in ukraine are proof of that tanks operating without support are easy targets

I didn't even think about that. I need to do more research on how infantry/mobile units work together. Thanks for clearing that up!

Belgium here again. Great reaction to one of my favorite songs from this album. YesJoakim wrote all of the music for the first albums and still does for most of the songs but,as for the lyrics, Par is as important in writing as Joakim. For example your favorite song, Bismarck was written by both of them.🤘

The Channel Operations Room has a series about the 1991 Gulf War that's really good if you want more context and information to Sabaton's Reign of Terror. Look forward to the Sabaton History vid for this
