- Filmmaking legend David Cronenberg sits down with series director Adam MacDonald to discuss his career and his performance as "Spencer Galloway" on the Shudder Original Series 'Slasher: Flesh & Blood.'
The show follows a wealthy, dysfunctional family that gathers for a reunion on a secluded island only to learn they’ll be pitted against one another in a cruel game of life and death, all while being stalked by a mysterious masked killer. Nothing is what it seems and no one is safe as the tension - and body count - ratchets up.

Such a fascinating Director and his son is incredible too
Cronenberg has such a great sense of humor.
I've seen interviews with Ivan Reitman and others who have said that David has a wicked sense of humor and is often the life of the party, a very liked and admired man.
Chadwick Saxelid would it be accurate to say a "perverted" sense of humor?
Cronenberg is such a generous and down-to-earth guy, I was there were more geniuses like him happy to share his sincere philosophies and essence of his success
To sum it up, he's Canadian.
This particular Canadian style using teratology to fear us is so well made. It works magnificently in Human psiquis.
I didn’t think it was possible to make Cronenberg boring, but this interviewer has done it.
He is beauty, he is grace
And he is surprisingly friendly and affable asopposed to one would think how he would be looking at his films and himself.
Based on the trailer and reviews this project was way beneath Cronenberg. I can’t help thinking he literally did this for cash because, tragically, he can’t get his films funded anymore. The man’s a living legend and he shouldn’t be having to demean himself like this, he should be making great films.

Dead Ringers is awesome. He has good experience dealing with dysfunctional families on film.
