Such a great interview. thank you for posting it.
FANTASTIC - so informative and fascinating. David Cronenberg is brilliant and he's able to articulate his ideas in such a clear, structured way.
Would definitely go to sa a band called "DAVID CRONENBERG and the COLLABORATORS "
awesome. a master creative artist kicking ass in his 70s.
Can't wait for Crimes of The Future
Great to hear all these perspectives and the moderator did a fantastic job leaving things open for the creative to speak! 🔓😊👏🗣️
4:26 True, in preproduction a lot gets done but nevertheless in many independent films there is no money spent in this phase because people usually just spend their time for free in order to safe money for the shoot.
58:29, Salute?
MUCH better seats back then!
Oliver Reed, I image he was a nightmare
cronenberg said he was very professional.
Reed's "The Brood" castmate Samantha Eggar has an interview on YT. She talks of multiple incidents that occurred after shooting days (arrested after a drunken bet to walk naked for kms back to his hotel, tossing hotel mattresses out the window), but Reed still showed up ready to work and on time, and was a considerate coworker, on set.
