Let me take you for a walk inside a recent waterfront project on the Gold Coast. This project is now home to an awesome family of four who were a pleasure to build for!

I was seriously so amazed seeing those exposed bricks!! Who knew! Also putting the main sink, fridge and dishwasher in the pantry is such a good idea 👍👍

You talk about not seeing the washing machine from the front entrance because it doesn't look as nice - I feel this way about the toilet. I see so many modern house designs where the toilet comes straight off the hallway to the main living areas and I personally think it is poor design. I even hired a handyman to change the door in our first home because it came straight off the dining room. You can say that the toilet door is closed most of the time, which some people do but for anyone who has kids this is almost never the case. Just a different opinion. I love your videos and love that everything you do looks like good quality and is adding a different style to the standard QLD designs :)
Can I please ask for more detail about the cladding of the steel posts at the rear of the home? I want to wrap the existing posts that support the front porch of my home. They look very under scale and I want to give them a more substantial look. Any pointers/guidance would be appreciated.
That’s a really good idea... yeah our posts were too skinny here too. We used lengths fibre cement cladding ripped down to suit the shape of the post. Hope that helps!
