Confused why clamp is in the deck, barely any x/1s in the deck and there's a lot of pump abilities.
I'd mostly focus on Voltron for this girl, so only about 10-15 Creatures and the rest is boardwipes, ramp, removal and equipments, with the idea being to have a bunch of equipments on board when you cast her, so that you can equip it all immediately and start swinging.
I think I'd play about 5 equipments with protection abilities (Darksteel Plate, L. Greaves, S. Boots, W. Cloak, Hammer o.N.) and 2 or 3 white instant protection spells as well. Then about 6 or 7 offensive/utility equips. Most should be low cmc. Sucks that the Sword of - cycle is so expensive.

Other noteworthy inclusions are Sun Titan, which can bring back the majority of the deck, including Knights Charge and History of Benalia. Furthermore, Heartseeker as an underdog can cause serious trouble for the opponents board, esspecially with Leonin Shikari and vigilant knights.

@@NitpickingNerds I feel you xD Almost every white alligned EDH deck of mine has Sun Titan, it represents just so much consistent value for such “little“ investment. At least white as that kind of card advantage

I think that Haakon, Stromgald Scourge and Call the Bloodline would be good in this deck. And Haakon works very well with the Cavaliers to get extra value from them
Haakon, will often get trapped in your hand.
@@NitpickingNerds their is risk that can happen, but Call the Bloodline and Cavalier of Flame can help with that. And adding another rummage effect or two, like Hazoret's Monument and Mask of Memory could also be added to increase consistency
I would be careful with Nim Deathmantle, because the equiped creature "is a black zombie" so it will lose all creature types and will no longer count as a knight.
And I would highly recommend Haakon in any Knight tribal deck, he generates so much value, especially with ETB knights like Cavalier of Dawn or cards like Nameless Inversion.
It is pretty easy to get Haakon in the graveyard with cards like Entomb, Buried Alive, Gamble, Call of the Bloodline (good with skullclamp), Mask of Memory (equipment), Olivia, Mobilized for War, Faithless Looting or the Lands Geier Reach Sanitarium and Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace (you can tutor Geier Reach Sanitarium with Thalias Lancers).
Other Knight cards to consider: Khorvath Brightflame (good finisher), Sworn Defender (best defensive knight), Knight of the black rose (a bit slow but i like the card), Marton Stromgald (red knight version of craterhoof, if you can make him work), Odric, Lunarch Marshal (no knight, but really good with them and equipments) and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar (if in budget).
How about the Sigiled Sword Of Valeron?
It’s a cool option if you want to go heavier on tokens and equipment!
I’ve wanted to build black white knights in commander for a while. This set looks like it might make it possible. I’m not crazy about making mardu knights because a lot of knights have double white or black in the casting cost
But the red splash can be as heavy or light as you want. You could even play straight WB and just keep Gwyn and a few red lands

I have yet to watch this video, but one thing that I'd like to mention is that Gwyn is a male name, not a female one. So why is it a girl with that name here?
Okay, sure, it can also be used by females, but this set is based on fairy tales and on mythical medieval period stories. That includes the period from which this Welsh name comes from (in Wales, where it was used for male while it later was used for women in other places).
I know this isn't a very important detail, but it does bug me as I feel it as a continuation of them trying to blur gender in art as much as possible (such as in Ravnica Allegiance with Lavinia and many others, as well as in most of Battleborn), with them now even changing the gender of names. While it can be seen as progressive on its own (and in this case could be the character having been raised as male, so that would make sense with that name), it however feels weird to me precisely because of the other things that have been changed in recent years, thus leading to a pattern rather than to an interesting change on its own.
there was a singer name Ashley from O-Town. it was a dude. I also know guy who's name Dominique (the human highlight reel). not sure what it is, but guys have girls names all the time, real life or fantasy.
@@guardbreak4034 Dominique is a name that comes from Latin and is for both males and females alike, so that example doesn't work since it has always been both both gender since it became a name.
For Ashley, it actually used to be a male-only name of Anglo-Saxon origin, and it used to be a surname long before it became a first name. Its use for females is actually a recent thing, and that's fine since languages evolve with time.
I do understand that names of a specific gender can sometimes be used for the other gender. I also acknowledged that in my previous comment.
My point is about the mythical period represented. If you make a medieval story, you won't get girls named Ashley, but you'll have boys with that name. That's just one example.
I also mentioned in my previous comment that the Gwyn name was later used for females as well, just that it happened later and in other regions, not in the place of origin around which most Arturian legends and the other cycles are centered in.
As such, my point never was about it being abnormal for someone of a gender having a name primarily used by the other gender. That never was what I was complaining about.

However, like for Ashley, Elie has only recently become a female name (as in in the last century, or a just a bit more). Regardless, I only care in this case (Gwyn) because of the setting used in combination with it.
I wouldn't have cared if it was a fully fictional made-up plane by Wizard of the Coast like Ravnica, Dominaria, etc. After all, those aren't centered around actual legends and stories from our world. Eldraine on the other hand IS centered around a particular setting from our world, with most of the stories taking place in Medieval Europe and in Albion (Great Britain).
Theros didn't have that problem because they kept the names of mythical creatures the same while also making up completely new gods and characters(with only some being references, but they still made them different enough). And as for names, I don't know enough about Greek names to know if they used them correctly in terms of genders.
For Eldraine however, they are putting a much bigger focus on the myths, legends and folklore of the period I described, with only minimal changes(as for making some of them darker, or rather as dark but with slightly different outcomes, they still don't change the mold much).
This results in them still having almost the same setting, and since the setting is so similar there isn't a valid reason for the names to have changed too much in their uses. And unlike for Greek names, I do know more about early medieval names and Latin names.

1- Gwyn*
"Gwen" is a female name from the same time period.
2- I know the character in the card is female thanks to the flavor text and the art.
3- You're the one who came to argue and all I did was go more in-depth with the reasoning behind me being peeved by this even though I had already said in my first comment that I know it isn't an important detail as well as explained why it bothered me.
I also mentioned in my first comment that I know that names of one gender are sometimes used for the other gender, and even gave an example. I also included the reason why it bothered me beyond those possibilities. That it wasn't bothering me on a single-case basis, but instead because of a trend of things over the psst few years.
I wouldn't have wrote this much had you not given me a reason to (in this case, to argue back).
4- Naming conventions have nothing to do with "fantasy." It's all about cultures and languages. Also, the medieval myths and cycles of legends do fit with "fantasy." Those names already have a lot of connotations and meanings.
I'm less complaining about realism, and more so about consistency. (And I'm someone who has studied ancient and medieval cultures and languages, so I'm more preoccupied by this field than most people.)
5- I've been trying to stay polite, but it seems you don't care and prefer to just brush off anything others care about just because you personally don't.
The tone of your latest comment and the "Riiiiiggghhhttt" were uncalled for.
Even more so when you lack the reading comprehension to understand what I've been saying and have had to repeat since my first comment. Had you read it better, we wouldn't even be having this discussion, since what you first brought up to argue with me was something I had already mentioned in my first comment.
6- Now read my first comment again, and you'll see that I actually acknowledge that this isn't a big issue and that I'm more so peeved because of it being in a string of things(including art, not only names) rather than an individual case. I was never (and still am not) in rage or angry about the "Gwyn" thing. It's just a little something that bothered me a little and I felt like getting it out and explaining why it bothered me even though it's a very small thing. I'm actually more bothered by how you brush off how I feel about it while saying it in a discrediting manner.
7- This is getting nowhere and this argument is pointless. I''m just elaborating on things I've already said in my earlier comments and the only reason I'm writing this is because I'm someone who cares a lot about details and I don't like being misunderstood, hence me wasting my time writing all this.
