- Since Double Masters is based around artifacts, especially equipment. We have to build another Double Masters inspired EDH deck. In this case, Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale was chosen as our Equipment leader of choice. It’s got Knights holding swords! Let's see how Syr Gwyn can lead our Knights into combat.

I had to sell all my MTG cards to pay rent this year, including my favorite deck. It was my Knight deck and I miss it every day. ;-; I like seeing video likes this cause it makes me think about that deck.

I run Bruse Tarl and Tymna the weaver in my deck also can be used as back up commander

I like using her voltron. Board wipe/spot removing early game (and ramp of course) try to have something that gives haste then bam bring her in and delete someone lol
@Vidal Peterson, that's good idea, less knights, more Voltron! I also like the term "delete someone", I might have to use it!
Those swords look absolutely gorgeous! I unfortunately don't have the budget for them atm, but incidentally happen to have some other fancy equips that I use instead (I pulled a Godsend from Theros a long time ago and have had a Umezawa's Jitte from my Kamigawa Ninja starter deck way back). What do you think about using Haakon for a Syr Gwyn knight tribal deck?
@TacticianMark, I think Haakon is sweet, I use him in my Queen Marchesa knights deck. You can add Crib Swap for added value with Haakon.

This deck seems fairly optimized but i suggest you something to protect your equips like Leonin Abunas or Basilisk Collar to exploit First Strike/Double Strike.
Hi @Luca, excellent recommendations, I'm going to try those out. It wish those would also protect against my nemesis -- Bane of Progress, I guess Teferi's Protection does that.
@@vex_mtg As far as i know the only card which can protect artifacts from board destruction effects is Darksteel Forge which got reprinted in Double Masters and it's an artifact itself.

@Top Podcast, it's a knight that has double strike with is good with equipment. She can also fetch up her partner Khorvath Brightflame which gives your knights haste and flying.

Hi @Tom Scott, oh no!!! Over the years, I've learned to always try to keep at least one copy of each individual card just in case I need it for a deck. There have been many times where I needed some obscure card for a deck and it's there!
This deck only works because it's full of $25+ cards lol
@FighterDoken, in one way, you are correct. There's always budget options, of course not as powerful. This is what happens when Commander gets too popular.
So basically he just read edhrec and put the cards in.
@Sainted, I do use EDHRec as a resource, but these are my own unique creations.
