The bookends of Freddie's career. Bohemian Rhapsody and Innuendo. Both masterpieces.

Don't forget BoRhap's Big sister, March of the Black Queen. Imho even better than BoRhap.
@@juttapopp1869 YESSSS - That’s in my top four -
1) Somebody To Love
2) March Of The Black Queen
3) Brighton Rock
4) My Fairy King
Exactly
I love you two. Your enthusiasm is infectious and I get a kick out of your delight in the music you react to. Keep up the fun times.
He was dying and he sang on the highest tones his voice could reach for just like he was saying to HIV: "ok you're bringing my body to death, but not my voice, wanna me to prove that?here you are!"
😍😍😍
Yep, you can really hear it !
In a few books about him, they said Queen was recording when he was very very ill and he would down some vodka to kill the pain and just belt it out...💔❤️
At the very end they went back into the studio to shield him from public scrutiny and also from traveling, and they closed in around him in a circle of protection in the studio, like a womb. All of the band members said they had such a great time during those days when it was just them recording and focusing on their music. There was no bickering, they were concentrating on just being together and making music
Speaking of Spain, y'all really should listen to Freddie's and Montserrat Caballe's live performance of Barcelona.
Please do! Just when you think you've seen all that Freddie can do...
Yes yes yes!!! Please react to Freddie and Montserrat Caballe's Barcelona.
This has to be their next reaction. I’d love them to delve into Freddie’s solo work with Montserrat
ABSOLUTELY YESSSSS 💪💪💪💪
Catalonia 💓
one of the BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST songs by Queen ever made
The best voice of all time👑👑💯
💯 AGREE!! No one compares to Freddie! Best vocalist & frontman EVER! King of Queen! The chemistry these four guys had together truly was magical! How I wish they were still creating music & playing together!
Exatly my friend...Freddie Mercury Number One.....
👍
For this song you really need the video so you can see all the images of what they're talking about
Agreed... this song is amazing and the video is a visual treat, as well.
This song can be called "Bohemian Rhapsody 2.0". "Queen" is shocked by its original thinking. Even the modern generation is surprising. Bravo! "Queen" is still alive. I was and will be glad to listen to their masterpieces.
'Bohemian Rhapsody 2.0' is 'The Prophet's Song' on the same album, an audio delight especially in headphones or in a room with a good stereo system. 'Innuendo' sure is another Queen epic though. Could be 'BR 3.0'
You can never go wrong with Queen. The G.O.A.T.
La chevre ?
Freddie une chevre ?
👍👍👍
this actually has an unbelievably good official video. plus: the flamenco guitar is played by yes guitarist steve howe.
not all of it Brian plays too with Steve.
@@roverwaters3875 he said the flamenco guitar, u can tell the difference between Brian's and Howe's guitar
I believe this is the only piece Howe ever wrote for another band.
@@Bartholo-meow Brian wrote and played parts of the flamenco guitars
@Bookhouse Boy you clearly don't know anything about it.
Brian plays too with Steve.
I bought this record when it dropped. This song came out of my speakers like a tidal wave. Loved it from the first listen. Too many people only listen to Queen’s hits and are cheating themselves out of this incredible experience.
It was written for the last Queen album, with the same title - "Innuendo". It's credited to the whole band, but was mostly written by Freddie and Roger. Some of the lyircs make sense when you remember that Freddie was very ill during that time and didn't have much time left to live.
The official music video of this song is a masterpiece and won several awards.
There was actually an album released after this one. I believe it's called "Made In Heaven"
@@tenor817 Innuendo was the last released while Freddie was alive. Made In Heaven was after he left us using the recordings he left behind.
@@SotonCueMan , I just very recently found out about Made in Heaven. Freddy was nothing short of perfection.
@@SotonCueMan actually some songs were recorded by Freddie after "Innuendo". "Mother love" and "Heaven for everyone" are 2 of them, and I'm pretty sure "You don't fool me" and "It's a beautiful day" are the others The others were re-arrangements of exisitng songs, like "Made in Heaven" and "I was born to love you", and "Let me live".
I think it was mostly written by page and plant 😉
Guys it's my deep and humble request, please don't stop Queen or Freddie Mercury reactions!! I legit Love your reaction!!
Absolutely agree amen to that 🙏😀🤘🤴
@@petrap.8022 I mean more Queen and Freddie Mercury's hidden gems!
Everyone in this comments wants to keep going with this guys or Freddie
I got your point 🤘❤
"I wish I had more ears." That about sums it up.
Freddie loved all genres of music. Check out his venture into opera with Monsterrat Cabballet.

How can I go on
The Golden boy
Freddie exceeded himself vocally on this track. Beautiful in parts, and probably quite an underrated song in their wonderful repertoire!
It's one of their Top 3 songs.
The Spanish acoustic-guitar solo was played by Steve Howe of the rock group Yes. Innuendo is up there with Bohemian Rhapsody. It's difficult for me to choose the best from these two tracks. They both are mind blowing!
Innuendo is top 1 for me for sure!
both Brian and Steve are playing the flamenco guitar
The song was finished when Brian asked Steve to add some spanish guitar licks over what Brian already did
Steve Howe of Yes played the acoustic flamenco guitar in this song.
not all of it
@@roverwaters3875 yes all of it
@@stevenaustin8274 no
Steve AND Brian play the flamenco part.
@@roverwaters3875 no Steve was told to do what he felt fit the song. Brian just went with it in the second verse of it.
Queen is the best rock band and Freddie's voice is unique. This song is one of my favorites. Greetings
Its not really A rock band when They do every kind of music
Yes👍
Iam 57yrs old now, always been a Queen fan,had all the Albums as a kid up until his death.
I have to say seeing your younger appreciation for such amazing music has made me even appreciate Queen even more, how the fuck is that possible.?
The video for this song won an award for creativity, it is so amazing. Steve Howe (YES) plays the flamingo part on this song with Brian. This song is outstanding. Freddie and Roger wrote this song but the whole band created the song. Thank you.
Flamenco🙂
@@devonvergiels5185 Yes, I know but I was posting my comment for everyone, including those who would have no idea what Flamenco was.
@@sherryheim5504Calling it flamingo doesn't help anyone understand that better
Have you done “In My Defence”? Amazing Freddie vocals.
Queen was much more than their greatest hits. They were definitely an experience. Anytime Freddie sang it was, it was , well, George said it "exactly dude".
Sadly, Freddie would pass a year after recording this. RIP
PRINCESS of the UNIVERSE song From Highlander movie written by Freddie ❤
Excellent song. The press at the time tried to dismiss it as a rehash of bohemian rhapsody but it went to number 1. Musically it is probably better. As has been said also, check out the actual video as it was a work of art itself as it was shielding Freds illness. Excellent as ever guys.
Freddie Mercury is the definition of musical genius for the 20th century. The Queen wrote and performed songs that are far ahead of their time. Freddie Mercury's addiction to perfection in his live performances strongly reminds me of Mozart's perfectionism in the 18th century.
His songs are already being played in the classical field. I heard" You Take My Breath Away" at a classical recital next to Schubert, Schumann and Debussy.
Absolutely think he was a modern-day Mozart!
my thought exactly. I've always said: the guys from the past who became Mozart and Beethoven would be Pink Floyd or Queen in 20th century
You guys should definitely react to Freddie Mercury singing the great pretender
I can’t wait and hope for the reaction to ‘Exercises in free love’ from Freddie. You might lose your minds
👏👏❤️
Not a song - a piece! Freddie's perspective on the pain and the beauty of the human experience, in a world filled with mystery and so many unknowns. Humanity has persisted in hope, beauty, and joy despite also so many people engaged in hatred, greed, injustice, and false beliefs. Freddie nearing death was so full of questions and openness to all experience. He wished to see truth revealed and the mask released, to surrender his ego, and not have to rely on the innuendo and hinting of a Greater Truth. At least, that's what I think the words and the music spanning so many styles are about. So glad you finally reacted to this.
The video won an award…watch it on your own time. 🤗
Steve Howe from the band Yes was playing the Spanish guitar on this.
The video is amazing!!
Brian plays too with Steve
@@roverwaters3875 Yes I know. Never said Steve was the only one playing on this song.
@@lynnhoffman247 4:02 Steve AND Brian play the flamenco part.
The must song of Queen. Rock, opera, fandango.. Ole
One of the great undervalued Queen songs that mixes elements of rock with classical music, flamenco etc. a true work of art, in the sequel to Bohemian Rhapsody. A real masterpiece.
The next one reacts to one of the most epic songs made in the last 40 years: What's Up-4 Non Blondes
Thank you guys
Old Queen fan, so thank you So Much, for reacting to my most favorite song after Bohemian Rhapsody🥰🥰❤👍
Official video is great, need to watch
You should watch this song again but watch the official music video version. THEN, go back to QUEEN 2....their second album and go though it track by track....for example : " The March of the Black Queen"....since you appreciate production, chemistry, musicianship, vocal harmonies, composition, power, light and shade, dynamics....you will be blown away with even MORE appreciation for QUEEN.
AMEN to that! Queen2 and Innuendo, their second and their second-to-last Album are imho their best, though of course there are Gems on all of them.
You never know what to expect from each song so many surprises in this journey.

Masterpiece, one of my favs. Freddie was very sick, but sounded spine chilling good!! I have so much respect for him and the guys. They made so many great music and Freddie kept on going until the end. G.o.a.t. Much bless and keep the Queen reactions coming guys, always a pleasure to see you
The Prophets Song, The March Of The Black Queen, Brighton Rock (Brian guitar, guitar & guitar), Ogre Battle, please…..thank you 🙏
YESSSS - MY FAVORITES
Oooh I love ❤ Prophet's song and March of the black queen, but Prophet's song is my preferences over March of the black queen and Brighton rock
Yes tat will really give anyone a bigger appreciation of Queen.
This music still gives me goosebumps. An ultimate classic Rock song. 🎸🎸🎶🎶
This song reminds me of the early days of Queen. I became a fan way back when they showed so much more talent than any other band and they have NEVER disappointed me! Long Live Queen!!
For something different with Queen try Seaside Rendezvous, Dreamers Ball, Sleeping on the Sidewalk, Drowse, More of That Jazz x There is a lot of hidden gems you haven’t heard yet 😉😉
Oh god yes queen / Freddie the list goes on and on
Please go listen to Spread Your Wings (Live Killers verion). The guitarrist that help Brian to perfom the flamenco part was Yes guitarrist Steve Howe.
Amazing
! Spectacular! Fantastic!
These guys were perfect!
I loved your Queen t-shirt.
This is Art !
It was Steve Howe and Brian May on guitar.
You guys have not even heard the Prophet Song! Try that one!
YESSSS - The Prophet Song 👏👏
Buckle up in this one
A real masterpiece
Freddie left all he could, gave us what he had - he was leaving us but he kept on trying and so must we. Thanks for the lyric video. Having seen their official video many, many time. This was a wonderful perspective, Freddie's voice truly giving a message of knowledge, strength and hope.
My favourite Queen song. That change from the solo to the final verse gives me goosebumps every time.
Love innuendo ...and Freddies voice is sublime!! As others have said the official video is worth a look. March of the Black Queen next!!!
I waited for you and and a new reaction to a QUEEN song. Freddie's voice is amazing.
Greetings from Germany.
Oh, you should watch the official video, it will really blow your brain! For real!
Freddie being so ill still reached those very high notes with so much power. The MAN is the LEGEND!
Please, watch the official video.
Queen and Freddie are G.O.A.T.
Amen.
R.I.P Freddie we love you ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Yes👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You two reslly need to watch the video for this song, very trippy, yet excellent. Thanks.... Please react to One Vision the documentary of the making of the song.
Love that one
Masterpiece
Love your reactions!!!!! I'm always over-joyed to see someone from the "younger generation" enjoy Queen like you do!!!
Masterpeace from Queen beautiful
The first time I heard this song (90s) I was watching the video and I was totally impressed by everything, the special effects of the video, the guitar, Freddie's voice. I then watched and listened to all their songs!
Phenomenal! Queen's music is always full of surprises and they bring something to the table to satisfy every sense! Not only are they a band of transcendent geniuses that stand the test of time, but of deep thinkers that border on (if not totally) philosophical! You have got to check out the official music video! Each member of the band was illustrated in homage to a different artist or artistic style: Freddie Mercury in homage to Leonardo Da Vinci, Brian May after victorian etchings, John Deacon in homage to Picasso, and Roger Taylor after Jackson Pollock. Also, the flamenco part was played by a guest musician Steve Howe.
One of my personal favorites
Thank you very much my darlings
💛💛💛
They played so many styles. Here is another style for you: Sleeping On the Sidewalk.
Loved it then and still do but hey there are still so many other songs............😎
It's been a million years since I've heard this...thanks dudes
HOLA bross, la guitarra española es ejecutada por Steve Howe, reconocido por su participación como guitarrista de la banda YES. Actualmente sigue en esa banda.
Exactamente hermano🤘💞
Steve Howe from YES played WITH Brian May the flamenco section.
"MAY: The Spanish motif is suggested from the start; those little rifts at the beginning are sort of Bolero-esque. It seemed like the natural thing to explore those ideas on an acoustic guitar, and it just gradually evolved. Steve Howe helped out and did a fantastic job. We love all that stuff - it's like a little fantasyland adventure."
The Life Of Brian, Guitar World magazine, August 1991
My favorite Queen song. The lyrics are outstanding, the music perfect.
Checkout Teo torriatte a they they played it at this year's Tokyo Olympic openings
I love the live version
My favorite piece by Queen because of poetry of it.
A couple types of poetry in one piece.
You said you liked the the metal part of the song. You should react to "hitman", one of the hardest songs of Queen from this very album. It's one of my Queen favourites.
Song Innuendo another masterpiece. 🔝
At six-and-a-half minutes, it is one of Queen's epic songs. The song has been described as "reminiscent" of "Bohemian Rhapsody" because it was "harking back to their progressive rock roots". It features a flamenco guitar section performed by Yes guitarist Steve Howe and Brian May, an operatic interlude and sections of hard rock that recall early Queen.
Please react to Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé song Barcelona live... another masterpiece.
this is honestly JUST what I needed. Queen definately has something for every mood and situation. I keep finding new songs from them that's just right. I love them
wow! beautiful sweet Freddie! we still love you Freddie! now and forever!
The best of the best
Good reaction!!! I've been waiting for this so long!!!
you would really benefit from watching the actual video next time you listen to it though... it really does need a watch
Innuendo it's the 90's BoRap beautiful 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
I love this song and 🎧 are an essential component for the complete experience... this song is a masterpiece!!!🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Another exceptional Queen reaction. Have a great week George & Patrick. Thnx .. peace out ✌🏼❣️🤘🏼
Great reaction. Glad you're back with queen. There are so many more songs by Queen, that you haven't reacted to.
The band asked Steve Howe from the band yes to play the Spanish guitar part because Brian may cant play the spanish guitar ,but brian may did all the electric guitar parts of the song .
Consider trying one (or more) of these - The Prophet's Song (studio), It's Late (studio), See What a Fool I've Been (BBC Session 1973)
YESSSS - Great songs!!
Prophet's song OMG that's mind blower 🤯🤘
By far my favorite Queen song , blew my mind first time I heard it.
Freddy is an immortal Legend ! Irreplaceable !
Never in a million years will there be another like him.
💙Rest in Peace 💙
Singing this masterpiece dying?! Omg only the GOAT
Freddie was very very ill during the making of the Innuendo album, however, his voice was perfection!! The whole album is fantastic.
Please react to DON’T TRY SO HARD.
Obviously, there are not any “live” performances in regards to the miracle and innuendo albums due to his failing health.
The guitar player from YES played the Spanish guitar. It was the first time ever anyone was invited to play on a Queen song.
Freddie wrote a great “mini Bohemian Rhapsody” to be on his last Queen album he did with the group while he was alive.
George, please ask your brother not to sing out during the song. No offense, but it interrupts the song. Maybe pause the song if he wants to sing??
Speaking of not anything they can do. If you want your mind blown please react to a song Freddie wrote for a Spanish opera singer called EXERCISES IN FREE LOVE. it’s only Freddie and the piano, but I know your jaws will drop on the floor. Please check out the two songs I’ve mentioned.
Love y’all’s reactions. I’ve been a Queen fan since 1974 when I first heard Killer Queen.
I’m so happy you love their music too.
this is the best song of moderm rock of all times
4:02 Steve AND Brian play the flamenco part.
Steve played the chromatic runs and the flourishes on the flamenco section, but most of the solo was still Brian (both the 'acoustic' and the 'electric' bits).
queen best of world❤️
Love that song.
Great reaction 👏🏻
Masterpiece!
It was Steve Howe from Yes on the "flamenco" part on acoustic
Queen es una de las más Icónicas Bandas del Rock de todos los Tiempos!! En este temazo particia Steve Howe (Yes) con la Guitarra Flamenca!! 💃
Great choice. Watching the video, may help fill in the meaning behind the song, very creative as well.
Queen were very creative band I love 1975 Queen songs they are amazing,❤ ALLL OF THEM, but I have to admit, that I'm not fun of disco it's weird, but that's maybe just me
Yeah we’ll keep on trying. Yeah we’ll keep on smiling. Till the end of time. And whatever will be, will be. Amazing to hear a very sick Freddie to sing this
simply.....epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I love your reactions on Queen soooooo much .... Thanks for conserving their extraordinary songs and performances and give them as a present to the present generation .... I was 17 years old when Freddy died and I could not manage to see them live .... I wish I could turn back time .... seeing your reactions definitely gives me the sensation that their music, their songs, their spirit will survive
The best voice
Queen i can't live with you reaction
Queen is an experience ... you have to live it always
Amazing video😍😍😍😍😍
My God.
I have always no words.
Steve Howe of YES on acoustic guitar.
The additional flamenco guitar is played by Steve Howe of the Brit band Yes. If you think this song is 30 years old, it really is timeless music, so powerful, it goes beyond a music genre, it's eternal.
