Ok maybe not 1 but 2 were definetly enough. Could've mixed the matcha in one and frothed the milk in other and just add that to the matcha glass 🤷🏻♂️

Tip - add a little bit of cold water before you add hot water to the matcha, or add water that is 80 degrees c. Matcha burns very easily and adding boiling water straight on will scorch the powder and make it taste bitter :)
Yes I learned this the hard way 🫠🥹🥲, but I never gave up, and I now make matcha lattes that aren’t bitter! I wish I had learned this a long time ago tho, that way I wouldn’t have wasted all that matcha or milk 😢😢

I get coconut milk in my matcha lattes, it’s good! Also, any matcha latte you get is going to have sweetener in it, and many will have a hint of vanilla to counter the sharpness of the matcha. The cinnamon and the mix of multiple types of plant milk is kinda the only unique thing about this.
The usually way to do it American with tons of sugar and stuff in 🤮

what is the tradional way if i may ask?
My recipe is 1 teaspoon matcha, 220ml barista oat milk, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste and 1 teaspoon sea moss gel all in my Velvetiser. You can put it on the stove to heat through and whisk. SO healthy with no refined sugar and it honestly tastes like white chocolate! 😍

To the people who are saying she could have used just one jar, no she couldn't. Both the Matcha and the milk needs to be whipped,and If she whipped it after assembling, it would mix instead of whipping

@@jojooo_. cheap matcha is very bitter and tastes like normal green tea, the high quality matcha tastes vegetal if that makes sense. With milk it's unique but everyone may describe it differently.
This would totally be me but U wouldn't want all that sugar....defeats the purpose of the health benefits of matcha

Too sweet
1. Don't use boiling water for matcha use max 70 degree c water
2. Use chasaku instead of shaking it, I often use an 8oz latte cup with my chasaku then pour your milk of choice

This seems delicious but I’d like to share that matcha tastes great with just hot water! I think the key is to get the right brand. I buy it in bulk from the brand Jade Leaf. :)
I have that brand, could you tell me how you use it for best taste? Like do you add sugar, whisk it? Im from a different part of the world where we don't use matcha and my sister brought me some, but I don't know how to use it
@@samsalot6115 I’d be happy to help! One thing to check is if your matcha is “grainy” because that means it most likely already has sugar. If it doesn’t, you can add your own (pretty much any sweetener works.) to make the matcha, scoop around 1-3 tablespoons for a 10 oz mug. Then pour boiling water in and whisk. If you want more of a latte, leave extra room for milk.

@@NatLeRat but I've heard that matcha shouldn't have boiling water in it and the water should be just hot not boiling so that it brings out the good qualities but doesn't bring out the bitterness (I hope that makes sense)

It’s the best nastiest thing ever! 😂😂 if u don’t make the right combo it can be nasty. But my favorite combo is 3 scoops of matcha powder Almond milk White Chocolate Sauce and Vanilla syrup. Man that be Bussin Bussin!

The best Matcha latte is Almond milk vanilla syrup white chocolate sauce and 3 scoops of Matcha powder. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I drink it everyday. It’s so addictive.

I have a few suggestions for the perfect matcha latte
Would be great to use a homemade sweetener, one part water one part sweetener made in a pot at low temp, or any simple syrups.
Would suggest a matcha strainer to get rid of any lumps.
The water was wayyy too hot definitely more than 180°F which might bring bitterness into the equation.
The creamer was a little too excessive, one sweetener is enough already the matcha flavor would definitely be diluted.
I understand that's how they enjoy it but I'm just giving some pointers to anybody else who would like to know.
For the next smoothie bowl you do you should do Mal from Decendants
The only think going for this is you used non dairy milk. Honey. No. Frothing with that blender. No. Boiling water. No. This certainly isn't high grade and I wouldn't be passing this off as anything other than a personal butchered version of consuming matcha.
I throw matcha into smoothies, but I don't call it a matcha smoothie. I call it a green smoothie with matcha.
This is honey milk with matcha powder in it.

Ok no hate but oat milk is not the best
You can make your own oatmilk with rolled oats and a blender. You soak 1 cup of oats in water for 30 minutes to 8 hours, and blend with 4 cups filtered water. Or find another recipe. Make sure to shake it before drinking. It lasts for 3 days in the refrigerator

Be careful about adding boiling water to a glass jar or even really hot water. It can cause the glass to crack. (Trust me- I’ve broken two of my favorite glass pitchers 🥺).
I would probably do this in a large Pyrex measuring cup because they are made to sustain the really hot temperature changes. Then pour in your glass to drink

Nut milk also isn't a recommended milk for frothing, but if you have your own reasons that's fine, but typically the higher the protein of the milk ( 3% and above recommended ) the more froth you get typically
Looks great but I'm skeptical about the preparation of the matcha. I would've made a separate matcha shot so the ratio and temperature is more ideal

And used 3 cups in the process. If you have a frother ( non hand held) just stick it all in there use cold/hot settings depending on your choice and froth all ingredients together and done.
