The quality of your work is absolutely amazing. Ive been wanting to learn about the craft of English curtains for some time and couldn't find any good tutorials until Ive found your roman blind video. Really happy you have made this one and looking forward for more. I would love to know how do you attach this pelmet to the window. The fabric is so pretty, maybe you can do a video about different types of fabrics you use and what qualities do they need to have to look right (hold shape, drape well). I only wish there was higher resolution available, to see your beautiful craft and textures in more detail. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge! Polina:)

You just can't beat a correctly made pelmet 😍 got my hubby to watch this😁 he now has a new appreciation for the curtains I've been making for each room since we moved in last winter, all lined & bumped, hand sewn pretty much. Just the porch window dilemma facing me now, huge expanse of fairly short window.

I have bought full length curtains90 drop so I can reduce to a 56 curtain drop and use some of excess to make a curtain pleat for dressing top would you cut the main curtain from the top keeping the header on the main curtain and the cut the curtain pelmet part from the bottom so the bottom edge is lined or would you use the top of main curtain and measure the pellet and measure from hem up to the length plus allowance to add the header tape my window is five foot in length so bought two curtains would you recommend that I join the curtains removing the header from each and replacing wit continuous header or would they draw back and look neat without separating so you have two curtains each side the pellet will be just a material pelmet gathered with a header tape old fashioned nowadays I suppose but this is the style throughout the house
