I am still in disbelief that I was able to see him in 1978. I was so young. So much was lost on me. But it was amazing. And then again, in 83 for Serious Moonlight. And then again for Sound and Vision. Such a vocalist. His voice, his control, his ability to adjust on the fly to what his voice was doing that night. And the songs he wrote...heartbreakingly pointed and insightful. I hope has has the peace he so richly earned.

I still mourn his loss every January, this year was seriously hard, with so many deaths and it’s still February 2023
