It's actually pretty common in music acts that are collaborative. Bowie was extremely collaborative in his music, even covering one of Luther Vandross' songs when he was a back up singer for him in New York the during the Young Americans sessions, full co-credit and everything. Most famously are his collaborations with Trent Reznor.

Diana, Princess of Wales 💎, is alive! Yes, and it’s time the world begins to awaken to this Truth and so much more. Not only is our beloved Princess still with us, but so is John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette. There’s also a long list of celebrities and entrepreneurs including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston.
So, how does one account for something as unbelievable as this? Well, each person named above, and those whose names haven’t been revealed yet, have their own story, and soon you’ll be learning about it. However, in the meantime, here’s the short version. Each one of these people, at one point, entered into a worldwide witness protection program.
Wondering what these individuals needed protection from?
It’s something the likes of which the average man or woman has never been confronted with. Although it may sound funny, each one of us will eventually have a role in the “Big Picture,” too. What is it? We need to respectfully listen to their stories and begin to understand the “as yet, unrecognized threat” that humanity has been living amongst.
Bottom line is that we must give these brave people an opportunity to tell their stories and face head-on the Truths that we’ll be given in order to protect our families and ourselves now and forever more. Best way for us to complete our responsibility is to have unwavering faith in our Creator, God Eternal. Agree Joseph. Collectively, there is a consensus that Queen did the best set at Live Aid. I would not disagree with that. However, if there was one song that caught the moment and one individual performance that stood out then it was this incredible one of 'Heroes' by David Bowie.

Queen and David Bowie sets at Live Aid was absolutely beast. Queen definitely stole the show, but Bowie performed right after and held his own. Thomas Dolby was on as Bowie's keyboard and synthesizer. Best 1, 2 performances of both London and in Philadelphia combined. I remember watching live on TV in the US. 2 performers I would have love to see in person... Freedie Mercury and David Bowie. I tried to see Bowie and the Tin Machine at The Roxie in 89 but it was impossible. The Roxy holds about 450 people and there were like 5000 waiting outside to get in. Thank God I grew up in the 80's. RIP legends.

What's interesting here is the energy in the audience. Freddie Mercury had them in enraptured in this sort of state of bliss commanding them with his being. Bowie has the same sort of rapt attention but the crowd is so calm and silent. There's no call and response as there was with Freddie and the crowd is clearly into it from the crowd shots. It's two manifestations of an incredible level of crowd control from two GREAT musicians.

I'm a huge Bowie fan but this wasn't his best set. His band was unrehearsed and thrown together at the last minute. BUT this very up-tempo 80's version of "Heroes" is a big highlight of the day for me. Queen and U2 were on a whole 'nother level.
