My first Bogles deck had a gates package for color fixing, and at the time, only one Slippery Bogle, which I nicknamed Richard. I called the deck Boglegate as a play on the Watergate scandal from Richard Nixon’s presidency.
@@Kirblinxy yeah, he was just one tick more into “all in” About a year or two ago I was watching a guy who plays boggles only start up some pauper matches and I suggested lotus petal as a way to just get started faster and it worked wonders. I had a hate for utopia sprawl and found in my own testing and his leagues that it is necessary. I got him to use stetesan training lol so I was happy to see it in this list Imo, boggles is a control game in pauper. It’s about controlling the board fast and killing fast. Dude playing kiln fiends wasn’t ready for any traditional control like removal lol
I haven't watched the video yet but "welcome to another green pauper video, because green is dead" is exactly what I need after going 1-3-1 with my green deck at the store championship this afternoon :D
Rough beats. Yeah green hasn't been great for a while. Elves, walls, hexproof and Ponza can all have their days but seem to lose more than they win (in pauper challenges at least). As long as you picked a deck you like and enjoy playing then it can mitigate some of the pain of those losses.
@Kirblinxy I learned that the winner of the tournament was walls combo which made me pretty pleased. I love the deck I played, but it feels bad, I shot myself in the foot by removing sideboard cards vs a deck I hadn't seen in awhile (with those cards I win the match) but I guess after the glitters ban is what people at my store picked up since over half the decks I faced were that matchup. I boarded in for gardens instead since that's the most popular deck at my store but even though there were the highest number of players with that deck I faced 0
Personally I think straight up replacing all of the squire’s devotions with untapped lands is the way to go. But yeah, the list obviously has some underlying issues
The end deck almost ended up like that. Maybe 20 lands is still too few. At least these lands have some utility so you don't feel as flooded like you would with just basic lands.
I like Setessan Training more. The drawing a card and the one power feels stronger than 2 1/1's. I don't think there is any other card I would replace for it.

kirblinxy playing two of my fav decks in a row les goooo
What a streak! I'll probably end it with the next video though.
That kiln fiend match was frustrating, doesn’t help that this list itself is so stressful lol
Almost feels like a 0% matchup. Like when I played Red Tron into Bogles. That's just how some things go.

I love the idea
Wasn't mine, but I also liked the idea which is why I decided to give it a spin.
Guardian with Cloak would have been fun to see!
Considering how often I struggled to get to 3 mana let alone 4, I wouldn't suggest it in this build 😅
hi5 and gg's!
Bogles!

Lands are very big problem in this deck 😂😂😂
It did seem to be a recurring theme. Maybe something could be done about it 🤔
No Fists of Ironwood?
