Right angle stud and joist drills are great. For your work that model will be fine. I got the flex volt version of the exact one you are holding. More power and can use larger bits. What you are using is a self feed bit. Look at Milwaukee’s switch blade. You can change the cutting edge, save you money on bits. Auger bits and large hole saws are also used. I was an electrician for years and VSR stud and joist drills/hole hawgs are indispensable for rough in. Plumbers use them too

Hey do you know what size drill bits these use? It's bigger than the standard drill bits I have. I'm looking to buy one of these, I'm sick of torqueing my wrist

I know this has nothing to do with the drill but,, Screw self feed bits, screw hole saw bits. Get you some Milwaukee Big Hawk bits if you wanna make some big holes fast 👍

Its called a right angle drill or stud and joist drill. Milwaukee calls theirs a hole hawg or the more powerful version they call super hawg.

You can just push the drillbit inside no need to pull
