Nice review 🤙🏻 Dewalt 👊🏻
Thanks.
Bro I need a real video making hole with three studs stack on top of each other putting the tool to work in real work scenarios.
I have this exact same drill with the same chuck. This thing will do 9 2x4’s stacked together with a 16” long 1” thick auger bit. I use the 9Ah battery though
Any small drill you could do that
You showing this huge tool with such small job ?
Man I wish you had the actual flexvolt stud and joist drill that this flexvolt advantage stud and joist was modeled after. I would like to see the power differences between all 3. I have been contemplating getting the advantage version just because of the price difference.
Sorry, probably won't be able to justify that one right now. This does everything that I need it to and that's rather specialty tool.
@@TinkerWithTools oh no it's cool that you don't have it I was just saying it would have been nice to be able to compare the two. I didn't understand the it's a specialty tool. It's the same it just takes flexvolt batteries only. Sorry maybe me just dumb would you mind elaborating thanks for the vid
@@atrainace114 just saying that I don’t have a lot of need to have multiple stud and joist drills. I am framing my own basement so I’ll be able to use the one but as for justifying buying another it wouldn’t make sense. Something more like a traditional drill would get used in other settings as well. That’s what I meant by specialty tool.
@@TinkerWithTools I understand thanks for the reply.
Are these drills good for drilling brick work looking for core drill for boiler flue
Can’t say that I have tried. DeWalt does list masonry specifically in the manual so I don’t think it would be it’s intended purpose. How large of hole? The list a 4” hole saw as the recommended limit in wood.
I wanted it for 4 or 5 inch holes for boiler flues and extractor fans
