I saw one where the narrator said something along the lines of: if you use face cream, don't do what this woman did" and then told a story based on an old Japanese urban legend where a woman used "poisoned" face cream given to her by her husband's mistress and loses her beauty, dies, and then haunts her husband and his mistress. I'm still not entirely sure what I'm not supposed to do other than not get poisoned somehow.

I love so much that you can tell there's a couple and their child blurred behind him. So there's the implication that in this fake reality this doctor professional headshot photoshoot was in front of a random family. Why would you voluntarily want to include that in your official picture ? And if you did it purpose why the need to blur them ?
I like the idea that Marissas phone was dead for 10 years and the entire 10 years her parents were just calling it constantly the entire time and one day she decided to charge it and voila!
And the kidnapper just let Marissa keep her phone she was given at birth.

I don't know why I love this style / format of videos, but every time I find a creator like this (i.e. Danny Gonzalez, Drew Gooden, Cody Ko, etc) I fall in love and just watch every video. Adding Chad Chad to that list now!

My FYP is mostly art so I get a lot of their and one of my biggest problems with them is when they use audios like "Storytime I almost got human Trafficked" for there resin videos and don't even disclaim the story isn't there's. It feels like their using a traumatic and horrible story that isn't even there own for clout especially since a lot are small bussinses account so there also profiting off of it.

what's even worse about these TikTok storytime accounts is that these aren't even their stories. people are just reading posts from different Reddit communities like r/relationship_advice and r/AITA and just putting it over random videos. truly bottom-tier content if I've ever seen it.

A more important flaw in the last story is the idea that they kept calling the girl over and over rather than just calling the police. Like do you usually call the hostages and then do nothing until they answer the phone? Did they need to confirm it was her? Because I don't know how speaking to her for 12 seconds confirms she's the girl you lost as an INFANT.

I always feel like the story audio put over videos of cake making, slime, etc (stuff meant to get kids attention) are stolen from other accounts and never credited bc I've run into some where I've heard the audio before from comedy shows or I stumble upon them later on their accounts
