I suppose because I have been a follower of God, and His Son, Jesus, for many years, this song always reminds me of God’s words in the Bible promising that He would “never leave us or forsake us”. I believe that, no matter what trials we go through, if we have given our lives to Him, He will always be with us through the trials and storms. He has ALWAYS been there for me.

My Righteous Brothers. They're awesome when they came out in 1964. I have all of their vinyl record albums they made. Love them!"❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The Righteous Brothers had outstanding voices together or in solos, but you've only heard their ballads. Their first three years together they sang straight rhythm and blues. Try 'I Just Wanna Make Love to You', 'Summertime', 'Koko Joe' or 'Justine!'. For that last one don't watch the live version... it was a bit raunchy and when they sang it on TV they had to 'sanitize' it.

It's from a Broadway musical (I want to say Carousel, but I'm just not sure.)

Actually it's from the 1945 musical "Carousel" by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The movie was released in 1955 or 1956.
