They are a great duo. But Bobby Hatfield tenor shines through and brings a light, the singing that nobody compares to what I mean by me Hatfield got a voice which is amazing.
I love me some Righteous Brothers.❤ They never miss live or in studio, they were the greatest duo ever in my opinion. Watch them sing "Dream On" live, it's great!

You should also react to the most-played song on American radio and television in the 20th century, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin it will delight you. And for a change … the wild and surreal performance of Bobby’s Summertime and the incredibly hot Bill’s I wanna make love to you. That’s when you ‘ll fully realize how good those Blue eyed souls are. They didn’t sing a bad song. Bobby singing Summertime or Ebb Tide is good. They both made separate albums and came back together. You have years of their music to choose from. Thank you.
I am so glad I grow up in the 50 and 60 and got to grow up in that Era God and bless Bobby he's singing with the Angels of now

I love your reactions! They’re so honest and expressive! The Righteous brothers were some of the best! I am 77 years old and so I was blessed to hear them as a teenager! Now I love them even better, because I can appreciate the gifted mess, and each one of them, and the amazing ways that they contrasted one another in singing!

Bill Medley still sings with another partner. They were in Indiana on April 4, 2024 - Just the other night. I miss Bobby Hatfield but will listen to what I can still get. Thanks for playing this.
They make so much noise in the background on today's music so they can't hear that the artist really can't sing. Back then if you didn't have the singing talent, you were here and gone fast! Love your reactions, keep up the great work!
I subscribed. You get it about the raw talent and why old school artist's music is still being played today Your folks got it too..good music is good music. The Righteous Brothers were phenomenal. I still listen to them all the time & enjoy your reactions to their music. Bill at 83 is still touring with a new partner but always pays homage to his forever "brother" Bobby. I saw them last year & the house was sold out.
This was from the 1945 Broadway musical "Carousel". My generation had the greatest music. You had to have talent to make it back then.

They sang this on the Ed Sullivan show. I was in my teens and watched with my dad. Frankly, I thought it was beautiful but not at all their style. I was a little disappointed. My father had to explain to me that Mr. Sullivan was totally a middle of the road guy. He'd insist on something toned down.
They recorded it on an album so it wasn't odd that they sang it on Sullivan's show. If you remember, they also sang a very upbeat song and a number with Peggy Lee (that was so much fun) on the same episode.
I watched this on TV. I was 17.

@pamelaanders5062 Bobby sadly died while on tour of a heart attack on November 5, 2003 ! Eight months after the Righteous Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Sure miss him!

I love watching youth in touch with the awesome music we had as teens in the sixties. Thank you for your reaction and appreciation. Both were talented heartthrobs and my heart still skips a beat when I hear/see them.

On many Shindig performances they dressed down, but they were always neat, not slovenly. They also wore tuxedos on Shindig.

Bobby left in 2003,his arteries were ravaged from cocaine. Not. even Bill knew Bobby used sò i guess it was subtle.
But he was great. He arranged the annual Bobbÿ Hatfield Classic Golf tournameñt that made millions for Research on LUPUS, which his wife suffered from.
RIP Bobby. We still miss and love you.

Bobby was thin, just as he was when he was younger; but, he had a good appetite. Cocaine would have dulled it.
(People are so used to seeing folks overweight that don't know what normal looks like anymore.)
Sheesh, that trace amount of cocaine, if actually there, may have caused the heart attack slightly sooner than he was bound to have it, per the medical examiner.
No one close to him, including family and Medley, saw him using or under the influence; but, you know what was really going on in his life. He was ravaged by cocaine, but no one saw it, seriously.🤦🏼♀️
What Medley speculated, since the autopsy found that trace amount, was that, since Bobby was so ill, he indulged to have the energy to go on that tour.
How about just listen to his music and stop the fiction writing.

@doloresschultz8393 are you kidding me! Sensationalizing to get attention. Bobby died of a heart attack because he had coronary heart disease ( arteries were 95% blocked). The medical examiner stated that was the main cause of death. He acknowledged the toxicology report that said that a trace amount of cocaine was found. Who's to say that wasn't a false positive. No one close to him ever saw him using. And he wouldn't have been able to perform as well as he did if he was under the influence.
Talk about stripped down with nothing to hide it -- pure acapella! Check out Home Free and Pentatonix! No instruments but you will likely forget that while listening! Warning -- highly addictive!!!
