Be strong during this difficult time. My father was diagnosed with the same once the radiotherapy was completed he was fine. Be there for him and remain positive. I love this channel and one day I will re upholster something.

What set your videos apart from other diy videos was the interaction between Father and son, which I thought said a great deal about your Fathers character. I’m sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he does well with treatment. I just delivered 4 chairs to my cousin that I refinished for her birthday. I must have watched your slip seat video 10 times when I reupholstered the chairs. They came out beautiful thanks to your Dad’s step by step tutorial. I wish you both well during this difficult time.
He will be in my prayers. I had surgery for tonsil cancer in 2017. Mine was stage 1-2 and had been growing for at least a year unknown to me. The tumor and lymph nodes were removed with surgery. Mine was caused by HPV which was a good thing in that HPV caused cancer doesn't require the same treatment regimen.
Thank you so much, Darlene! Your experience is an answer to our prayers. If you don't mind, do you have a recommendation of where to get the surgery? I heard that it could be an iffy surgery if not done correctly, i.e., a loss of a lot of other essential tissue. If he could get it properly removed it would give him a great leg up on his recovery.
@@ucsolutionsgivingmore I saw an ENT; ear, nose, and throat doctor. He just happened to be one of the best in Utah. You should be able to find one where you live. Surgery really depends on the size and location of the tumor. If it's inoperable due to the location or size of the tumor, radiation or chemo is used. It may also be used to first shrink the tumor before surgery. My Doctor likes to remove the tumor first if possible because radiation can only be done once. My tumor was caused by HPV and studies have shown that HPV related tumors do not require treatment as aggressive as those caused by smoking or drinking.
I've enjoyed you videos so much and there's a bag of foam from you that is still waiting for me to refill some back cushions on our sectional. I tend to add to the project list before completing some. I'm here if you need anything else.
I just found out from another comment that you're in Maryland. I moved from there in 2000. Lived in Maryland for 35 years.

First I would like to say you two are a fantastic team. I started watching your videos about a month ago as I'm trying to restuff/replace seat cushions on our power recliner sectional. Wish me luck!! Lol
My husband has been in remission from his Stage 2 tongue/throat cancer of 2002 so there is hope for your Dad. It is a hard fight but Never Give Up! There will be things that may pop up from the radiation treatment that may cause issues but the doctors will keep a close eye on him. Bless your Dad & your family. I will pray on my knees that Dad soon gets better. All my love to you all Nancy Staggs. I did have a question. I am looking at a chesterfield 67-inch love seat couch from Pottery Barn. It has a single cushion on the bottom, I was taught that single cushion couches even only 67 inches have a tendency to give in, most people who sit on this couch sit in the center because of it being one cushion, and over time it brakes down in that area. So having two small cushions is better, RIGHT? Or do they support the middle more so this does not happen? I am glad to see you back!!!!

Great question, I would suggest two cushions since longer cushions tend to wrinkle in the middle over time. And there is no additional support in the middle for it. God bless you and yours!
